Fasting plasma glucose, OGTT and plasma insull'n response ic glllCose ltiere measured in the follicular phase and luleal phase of pre-treatment c*1,cle, in foe bileal phase of the 3rd, 6th and 12th monlh during foe treatment period, and l'n foe post--trealmenl c.l'cle. In foe treatment group, no deference was observed infasling glucose concenlrations as compared Ivith those of based'ne values and with the conlrol group,it'hile the glucose concenlralions Of Zh afler glucose load in the 3rd month reduced significantly as compared it)ith those if baseline (P< 0.01). The AUC Of glucose cated a significant decrease in the 3rd and 6th months (P< 0.05 and P< 0.01,respectively). Because all gluCose concentrations l'n OGTT were withl'n the normal range and the similar chang$s occurred in the control group, the reduction seems to be Of little pathological significance. Plasma insulin levels Of both fasting and Zh afler glucose load,it)ere significantly decreased in the 12th treatment month (P< 0.01 and P< 0.001,respectively) andpost-trealment cycle (PM 0.0i and P< 0.00i, respectively). The AUC of insulin showed a significant reduction, but similar changes were found in the control group.It is concluded that there is no significanl effect on carbohydrate metabolismfollolting foe treatmenl of NET-EN 50mg/ EV 5mg for One year.展开更多

The present investigation is based...As the loss of active material Mg may affect electrode’s discharge capacity and the cycling stability, a more refined mechanism study on cycling capacity degradation should be made. The present investigation is based on the supposition that the capacity degradation of the binary Mg50Ni50 alloy and ternary Mg45Cu5Ni50 alloy electrodes is solely due to the corrosion of Mg, the active hydrogen storage element. That means amount of capacity degradation is determined by the corrosion current time, which is also the time of operation. The corrosion current J corr dependence on cycling time was deduced. A mathematic relation between the cycling capacity retention C N / C 1 (%) and the duration of operation was also deduced. The data calculated from the equations deduced agree well with those of the experiment result. The loss of the active hydrogen absorbing element Mg is proved to be the main cause for cycling capacity deterioration in the present investigation.展开更多
