METHODS: The level of soluble CD58 (sCD58) in serum of patients with hepatitis B was detected by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay. The level of expression of membrane CD58 molecule in PBMC was detected by direct immunofluorescence. The levels of serumal TBIL, DBIL, IBIL, ALT and AST were detected by the automated biochemistry analyzer as well. RESULTS: The levels of sCD58 in serum and membrane CD58 molecule in PBMC of patients with hepatitis B were significantly higher than that in normal controls (P 〈 0.05). Level of CD58 was related to the levels of serumal TBIL, DBIL, IBIL, ALT and AST. CONCLUSION: The level of CD58 molecule (in both serum and PBMC form) of patients with hepatitis B is related to the degree of liver damage.展开更多

Like most young rotation powered pulsars, PSR B1509–58 has a high spin down rate. It also has less timing noise, allowing accurate measurement of higher order frequency derivatives which in turn helps in the study of the physics of pulsar spin down. Detailed investigation of pulse profiles over the years will help us establish any possible connection between the timing characteristics and the high energy emission characteristics for this pulsar.Furthermore, the study of pulse profiles of short period X-ray pulsars can also be useful when used as a means of interplanetary navigation. The X-ray pulse profile of this source has been analyzed for 15 yr(1996–2011). The long term average amplitudes of the first, second and third harmonics(and their standard deviation for individual measurements) compared to the fundamental are 36.9%(1.7%), 13.4%(1.9%) and 9.4%(1.8%) respectively. Similarly, the phases of the three harmonics(and standard deviations) with respect to the fundamental are 0.36(0.06), 1.5(0.2) and 2.5(0.3) radian respectively. We do not find any significant variation of the harmonic components of the pulse profile in comparison to the fundamental.展开更多

Interaction between the disk and the magnetic field of the neutron star may considerably influence the evolution of the star through the so called propeller effect. There are many controversies about the efficiency of the propeller mechanism proposed in the literature. We investigate the faUback diskinvolved spin-down of young pulsars. By comparing the simulated and measured results of pulsar evolution, we present some possible constraints on the propeller torques exerted by the disks on neutron stars.展开更多

If some finite power of a space X with cd-AP is a Q-manifold, then X2 and X×[0,1] are Q-manifolds as well. 文摘We prove that a locally compact ANR-space X is a Q-manifold if and only if it has the Disjoint Disk Property (DDP), all points of X are homological Z∞-points and X has the countable-dimensional approximation property (cd-AP), which means that each map f:K→X of a compact polyhedron can be approximated by a map with the countable-dimensional image. As an application we prove that a space X with DDP and cd-AP is a Q-manifold if some finite power of X is a Q-manifold.
