We study a nonlinear differential equations in the Banach space of real functions and continuous on a bounded and closed interval. With the help of a suitable theorems (fixed point) and some boundary conditions, the 5th order nonlinear differential equations has at least one positive solution.

Excellent Diecastings Evaluated at the 5th China International Diecasting Congress & Exhibition

In order to better promote the development of diecasting industry in our country, to boost the application of new diecasting technology and techniques, to improve the competitive power of the diecasting enterprises in our country, to extend the international markets and to improve qualities of diecastings more quickly, the activity of evaluating high quality diecastings was organized by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) during the period of the 5th China International Diecasting Congress & Exhibition. The Excellent Diecastings Evaluation Committee was composed of an independent panel of experts in China’s diecasting industry. In accordance with the evaluation rules of impersonality and impartiality, the Evaluation Committee members, at the site of the exhibition, carefully checked each and all evaluation indexes of the diecastings accepted in the activity, deliberately examined the real diecastings, and inquired of the technicians of the companies taking part in the evaluation activity about the production processes, qualities and other information of the diecastings. Improving Intelligibility and Pronunciation Through Phonics Instruction for 5th Grade EFL Learners of Chilean Public Schools

Based on the curriculum proposed by the Chilean Ministry of Education,schools are offered textbooks and complementary guides for teachers as a tool for the learning process of the students.Bearing in mind that the Ministry suggests a list of learning targets that must be accomplished at the end of the academic year,the author of said textbooks offers activities that are meant to fulfil these objectives.However,and considering that one of the goals of the Ministry is that 5th grade students,at the end of their learning process,communicate an intelligible message with a proper pronunciation,a lack of activities and methodologies focused on the improvement of these aspects can be noticed.Therefore,this proposal will present teachers with phonics as a methodology that may help students improve intelligibility and the recognition and production of segmental aspects of pronunciation.

Exponential-fraction trial function method to the 5th-order mKdV equation

This paper obtains some solutions of the 5th-order mKdV equation by using the exponential-fraction trial function method, such as solitary wave solutions, shock wave solutions and the hopping wave solutions. It successfully shows that this method may be valid for solving other nonlinear partial differential equations.

This work presents the mathematical framework of the “Fifth-Order Comprehensive Adjoint Sensitivity Analysis Methodology for Nonlinear Systems (5th-CASAM-N),” which generalizes and extends all of the previous works performed to date on this subject. The 5th-CASAM-N enables the exact and efficient computation of all sensitivities, up to and including fifth-order, of model responses to uncertain model parameters and uncertain boundaries of the system’s domain of definition, thus enabling, inter alia, the quantification of uncertainties stemming from manufacturing tolerances. The 5th-CASAM-N provides a fundamental step towards overcoming the curse of dimensionality in sensitivity and uncertainty analysis.

About Feasibility of a 5th Generation Light Fighter Aircraft

The paper aimed to illustrate an idea about the feasibility of a peculiar aircraft, i.e., a 5th generation light fighter. At first, a short description of previous ＂generations＂ of jet fighter is given, introducing the interest that has always been originated by the concept of＂light fighter＂ for every of the first four fighter generations. The derivation of the first idea of a new 5th generation light fighter is then described. Then to further investigate the feasibility of idea, a conceptual design study has been driven up by utilizing peculiar tools, both for quantitative and qualitative （i.e., the aircraft layout definition） evaluations. With the further support of preliminary study of subsystems, the result shows the feasibility of the concept.
