We give a conjecture on the lower bound of the ADM mass M by using the null energy condition.The conjecture includes a Penrose-like inequality 3M≥_(k)A/(4π)+√A/4πand the Penrose inequality 2M≥√A/4πwith A the ev...We give a conjecture on the lower bound of the ADM mass M by using the null energy condition.The conjecture includes a Penrose-like inequality 3M≥_(k)A/(4π)+√A/4πand the Penrose inequality 2M≥√A/4πwith A the event horizon area andκthe surface gravity.Both the conjecture in the static spherically symmetric case and the Penrose inequality for a dynamical spacetime with spherical symmetry are proved by imposing the null energy condition.We then generalize the conjecture to a general dynamical spacetime.Our results raise a new challenge for the famous unsettled question in general relativity:in what general case can the null energy condition replace other energy conditions to ensure the Penrose inequality?展开更多

The behavior of t...We extend Zhang and Zhao's recent work to the Schwarzschild-anti-de Sitter black hole with topological defect, whose Arnowitt-Deser-Misner (ADM) mass is no longer identical to its mass parameter. The behavior of the tunneling massive particle is investigated and the emission rate is calculated. The result satisfies an underlying unitary theory and takes the same functional form as that of the mass-less particle.展开更多

Firstly, the Komar mass is used to take the place of the Misner-Sharp energy, which is used in the o...We modify the method to generate the exact solutions of the Einstein equations basing on the laws of thermodynamics. Firstly, the Komar mass is used to take the place of the Misner-Sharp energy, which is used in the original methods, and then several exact solutions of Einstein equations are obtained, including the black hole solution which is surrounded by quintessence. Moreover, the geometry surface gravity defined by Komar mass is also constructed.Secondly, we use both the Komar mass and the ADM mass to modify such method, and the similar results are obtained.Moreover, with some generalize addition to the definition of the ADM mass, our method can be generalized to global monopole spacetime.展开更多
