The study was based on a mixed perspective consisting of objective analysis of quantitative data and interpretative analysis of qualitative data. The results showed that business and strategic intelligence policies have not been established at either company or state level, as this is an area of activity that is not known to the players in companies and public departments, and there are no units or offices in their organizational structures responsible for managing strategic information for competitiveness on the international market. In addition, there is a real need to establish strategic information management units within companies, upstream, and to set up a national strategic information management department or agency to help local companies compete in the marketplace, downstream. This reflects the importance and timeliness of building business and strategic intelligence policies to ensure economic progress and development in the eastern DRC. Business and strategic intelligence provides companies with an appropriate tool for researching, collecting, processing and disseminating information useful for decision-making among stakeholders, in order to cope with a crisis or competitive situation. The study suggests a number of key recommendations based on its findings. To the government, it is recommended to establish the national policy of business and strategic intelligence by setting up a national agency of strategic intelligence in favor of local companies;and to companies to establish business intelligence units in their organizational structures in favor of stakeholders to foster advantageous decision-making in the competitive market and achieve progress. Finally, the study suggests that studies be carried out to fully understand the opportunities and impact of business and strategic intelligence in African countries, particularly in the DRC.展开更多

Conventional geothermal systems have the heat, permeability and fluid, requiring only drilling down to °C, normal heat flow or decaying radiogenic granite as heat sources, and used in district heating. Medium-temperature (MT) 100°C - 190°C, and high-temperature (HT) 190°C - 374°C resources are mostly at plate boundaries, with volcanic intrusive heat source, used mostly for electricity generation. Single well capacities are °C - 500°C) and a range of depths (1 m to 20 Km), but lack permeability or fluid, thus requiring stimulations for heat extraction by conduction. HVAC is 1 - 2 m deep and shallow geothermal down to 500 m in wells, both capturing °C, with °C are either advanced by geothermal developers at <7 Km depth (Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS), drilling below brittle-ductile transition zones and under geothermal fields), or by the Oil & Gas industry (Advanced Geothermal Systems, heat recovery from hydrocarbon wells or reservoirs, Superhot Rock Geothermal, and millimeter-wave drilling down to 20 Km). Their primary aim is electricity generation, relying on closed-loops, but EGS uses fractures for heat exchange with earthquake risks during fracking. Unconventional approaches could be everywhere, with shallow geothermal already functional. The deeper and hotter unconventional alternatives are still experimental, overcoming costs and technological challenges to become fully commercial. Meanwhile, the conventional geothermal resources remain the most proven opportunities for investments and development.展开更多

B-SM is known to estimate the correct prices of European Stock options and establish the theoretical foundation for Option pricing. Therefore, this paper evaluates the Black-Schole model in simulating the European call in a cash flow in the dependent drift and focuses on obtaining analytic and then approximate solution for the model. The work also examines Fokker Planck Equation (FPE) and extracts the link between FPE and B-SM for non equilibrium systems. The B-SM is then solved via the Elzaki transform method (ETM). The computational procedures were obtained using MAPLE 18 with the solution provided in the form of convergent series.展开更多

文摘[Objectives]The paper was to explore the effects of different doses of water-retaining agent on the growth and development indicators, yield and quality of soybean plants subjected to drought stress.[Methods]The effects of drought stress(MDS)and drought stress with low(MDS-L),medium(MDS-M)and high doses(MDS-H)of the water-retaining agent on the growth and development indicators, root activity,MDA content, antioxidant enzyme activity, yield and quality of soybean were studied by field plot test, with the normal water supply serving as the control(CK).[Results]In response to drought stress, the plant height, stem diameter, and yield of soybean exhibited a notable decline.Additionally, the contents of protein, fat, linoleic acid, and linolenic acid in seeds demonstrated a significant reduction.Conversely, the root activity and antioxidant enzyme activity exhibited a noticeable decline, while the MDA content exhibited an increase. The application of varying doses of the water-retaining agent was found to significantly enhance soybean growth, stimulate root activity, and elevate antioxidant enzyme activity, while concurrently reducing MDA content. The observed effects were found to be dose-dependent,with the greatest effects observed at the highest dose.In comparison to MDS,the yields of soybean in the MDS-L,MDS-M,and MDS-H treatments exhibited a 18.38%,25.58%,and 46.26%increase,respectively.Additionally,the content of protein, fat, linoleic acid, and linolenic acid in seeds demonstrated a notable enhancement.[Conclusions]The application of the water-retaining agent has been demonstrated to significantly promote the growth of soybean plants under conditions of drought stress, resulting in an improvement in both the yield and the quality of the soybean crop. The recommended dosage of the water-retaining agent is 3.3 kg/667 m 2.
文摘Black-Scholes Model (B-SM) simulates the dynamics of financial market and contains instruments such as options and puts which are major indices requiring solution. The computational procedures were obtained using MAPLE 18 with the solution provided in the form of convergent series.
文摘In recent years, the trend of people choosing relic and museum tourism during their vacationand leisure time is growing day by day, mainly because it touches people's feelings about historical relicsand cultural heritage. The development of relic and museum tourism products is not only the inheritanceof culture and the protection of cultural relics, but also the promotion of tourism consumption under thebackground of cultural tourism integration, which has promoted the development of regional economy. With the relic and museum tourism resources in Shandong Province as the research object, through theanalysis of its resources, market and products, this paper put forward three applicable modes of relic andmuseum tourism product development, including independent development, joint development, and artauthorization, and proposed specific suggestions around the three modes.
文摘In recent years, the integrated development of the tea and tourism has become an important way to promote the rural revitalization of Tai'an tea-producing areas, but the state of industrial upgrading still needs to be improved. In order to better integrate tea and tourism in Tea Valley, this paper uses questionnaire and SWOT analysis to study. It found the following problems:(i)45.7%of tourists were interested in tea culture, but they know litle about it,and the integration of tea culture and tea tourism products is low.(i)50.54%of the tourists were interested in the tea picking experience project and wanted to add the tea food experience item.(ii)The acceptance of 45.7%of tourists to scenic spots was 1-2 h,which shows that the quality of transportation service facilities and personnel needs to be improved.Combined with the SWOT analysis,it is found that the scenic spot is rich in resources, convenient transportation, profound cultural heritage, and good govern-ment policy support conditions, which is suitable for the SO strategy(growth development strategy),so the scenic spot relies on internal ad-vantages and seizes external opportunities to develop the integration of tea and tourism.Based on the analysis results,it came up with the perti-nent recommendations for the key problems:(i)The infrastructure service is not well established. It is suggested that scenic spots should in-crease investment, regularly train service personnel to improve their quality, and improve transportation services, accommodation, catering and public service hardware facilities.(i)Tea tourism products are insufficient. It is suggested that tea tourism products should be innovatively designed and tea tourism experiential products and tourism commodities should be planned.(i)Tea culture and tourism lack organic combi-nation.It is recommended to deeply excavate tea culture, and take consideration of both spiritual and material aspects. The specific methods include building teahouses,Taishan Mountain(Mount Tai)tea culture throughout the whole process of tea production, development and pro-cessing,and AR tea culture experience hall can be built to make tourists feel tea culture from dfferent perspectives.(iv)The publicity is in-sufficient.Strategies should be made in three aspects:improving the Internet media, taking into account the traditional media, and expanding the market based on the surrounding areas.(v)The tea industry chain is short. It is recommended to add four new industrial chain designs of"tea+accommodation, tea+catering, tea+Intemet, tea+training",hoping to bring some inspiration and ideas to the managers of scenic spots.

文摘The ternary-element storage and flow concept for shale oil reservoirs in Jiyang Depression of Bohai Bay Basin,East China, was proposed based on the data of more than 10000 m cores and the production of more than 60 horizontal wells. The synergy of three elements(storage, fracture and pressure)contributes to the enrichment and high production of shale oil in Jiyang Depression. The storage element controls the enrichment of shale oil;specifically, the presence of inorganic pores and fractures,as well as laminae of lime-mud rocks,in the saline lake basin,is conducive to the storage of shale oil,and the high hydrocarbon generating capacity and free hydrocarbon content are the material basis for high production. The fracture element controls the shale oil flow;specifically, natural fractures act as flow channels for shale oil to migrate and accumulate, and induced fractures communicate natural fractures to form complex fracture network, which is fundamental to high production. The pressure element controls the high and stable production of shale oil;specifically, the high formation pressure provides the drive force for the migration and accumulation of hydrocarbons, and fracturing stimulation significantly increases the elastic energy of rock and fluid, improves the imbibition replacement of oil in the pores/fractures,and reduces the stress sensitivity, guaranteeing the stable production of shale oil for a long time.Based on the ternary-element storage and flow concept,a 3D development technology was formed, with the core techniques of 3D well pattern optimization,3D balanced fracturing, and full-cycle optimization of adjustment and control. This technology effectively guides the production and provides a support to the large-scale beneficial development of shale oil in Jiyang Depression.
文摘Modern drugs have changed epilepsy, which affects people of all ages. However, for young people with epilepsy, the framework of drug development has stalled. In the wake of the thalidomide catastrophe, the misconception emerged that for people<18 years of age drugs, including antiseizure medications(ASMs),need separate proof of efficacy and safety, overall called"pediatric drug development".For ASMs,this has changed to some degree.Authorities now accept that ASMs are effective in<18 years as well, but they still require"extrapolation of efficacy,"as if minors were another species. As a result, some of the pediatric clinical epilepsy research over the past decades was unnecessary.Even more importantly, this has hampered research on meaningful research goals. We do not need to confirm that ASMs work before as they do after the 18th birthday.Instead,we need to learn how to prevent brain damage in young patients by preventing seizures and optimize ASMs’uses.Herein we discuss how to proceed in this endeavor.
