At present, spiral mining head is regarded as the best crushing scheme. Based on the dynamic model of spiral mining head, the of cobalt crust’s crushing process was simulated with the ANSYS software. The material model of Johnson and Cook Plasticity, maximal princi- pal stress failure criterion, and eroding contact arithmetic were selected. At the same time, the influence of cutting depth, feed speed, rotational speed of mining head on torque and force subjected by mining head was taken into account. At last a computer simulation model of crushing process of cobalt crust was established. By analyzing simulation results, the relationships among these controllable process parameters, torque and force can be obtained, which will provide a technical reference for practical mining system.展开更多

The formula of calculating the flow conductance and the pressure equation arededuced when the no slip boundary condition is employed at the wall, and the pressure equation is a non-linearelliptic partial differential equation. The flow front locations, distribution of velocities, temperature and pressure aresimulated by the finite element analysis software ANSYS. Simulation results indicate that it is in the final filled partthat defects appear easily. The region in which the defects may occur during the PIM process can be predicted.展开更多

The spinning process is simulated by means of ANSYS software, and the dynamic boundary and contact problems in simulation are solved. The transient stress distribution of contact area, the transient strain distribution of nodes in typical section and the strain distribution of the whole part at last are attained, and the place and the cause of crack are analyzed. Simulation results show how the strain distribution of typical section, the thickness of some typical nodes, the Z coordinate in typical section and the spinning force of three rollers change with the time. According to study the variation curve, the material flow law along radial, tangential and axial direction is attained and the whole spinning process is studied. The experiment data reflect how the spinning force is influenced by different process parameters, such as feed rate, roundness radius and pass reduction. The simulation and the experiment results supply criteria for optimum design and reasonable parameter selection.展开更多

The current detection methods mostly are used after casing damage, which is not very effective. With the rapid development of China's offshore oil industry, the number of offshore oil wells is becoming larger and larger. Because the cost of offshore oil well is very high, the casing damage will cause huge economic losses. What's more, it can also bring serious pollution to marine environment. So the effective methods of detecting casing damage are required badly. The accumulation of stress is the main reason for the casing damage. Magnetic anisotropy technique based on counter magnetostriction effect can detect the stress of casing in real time and help us to find out the hidden dangers in time. It is essential for us to prevent the casing damage from occurring. However, such technique is still in the development stage. Previous studies mostly got the relationship between stress and magnetic signals by physical experiment, and the study of physical mechanism in relative magnetic permeability connecting the stress and magnetic signals is rarely reported. The present paper uses the ANSYS to do the three-dimensional finite element numerical simulation to study how the relative magnetic permeability works for the oil casing model. We find that the quantitative relationship between the stress' s variation and magnetic induction intensity's variation is: Δδ =K* ΔB, K = 8.04×109, which is proved correct by physical experiment.展开更多

Electromagnetic continuous casting with soft-contact mold was employed to produce copper round billet with high density. At the same time, in this paper, a mathematical model of the electromagnetic field in the soft-contact mold was built on the base of the vector potential method, then it was solved by the ANSYS commercial FEM software. Current and frequency was altered in the course of operation so as to find out how they effect the magnetic field distributing. Its accuracy was verified by the measurement result of the electromagnetic field in the mold without billet. By this model, the effect of excitation current on field was gained, which set up a certainty foundation for more research.展开更多

Based on Haizhou Mine and Wulong Mine as two typical deep-level rockburst examples in Fuxin coalfield, the rules and characteristics of the deep-level rockburst were analyzed. And the models were es- tablished. For Haizhou mine, the relationship between mining distance and rockburst was presented when 100, 300, 600 m were mined in 3313 working face. When 300 m were mined, the rockburst began to emerge. When 600 m were mined, the rockburst was the most possible to happen and the compression stress of the working face reached to the maximum value. The effect of tectonic stress on synclinal axis is also a key factor to rockburst occurrence. This was verified by the rockburst happened when 496 m were mined. For Wulong mine, based on the 311 working face as an example, the contours of Y stress in the roof and floor were obtained when the mining distance were 100, 200, 300 and 400 m. When 100 and 400 m were mined, the high stress con- centration regions occurred in the front of working face. This shows the rockburst is easy to happen. It is confirmed by the rockburst when 91m were mined in 311 working plane. The above indicates that the numerical simulation has instructive rule to study the deep-level rockburst in Fuxin coalfield.展开更多
