Little information was so far available about allergenic mechanism of the roasted peanut allergens during initial stages of allergy.The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of roasting(150℃,20 min)on ...Little information was so far available about allergenic mechanism of the roasted peanut allergens during initial stages of allergy.The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of roasting(150℃,20 min)on biochemical and biological properties of Ara h 3,a major peanut allergen.Allergenicity of roasted peanut emulsion to mice,differences in uptakes between Ara h 3 purified from raw peanuts(named as Ara h 3-Raw)and that purified from roasted peanuts(named as Ara h 3-Roasted)by bone marrow-derived dendritic cells(BMDCs)and the implication of cell surface receptors involving in uptake,and changes in glycosylation and structure of Ara h 3 after roasting were analyzed in this study.This study suggested that roasting increased allergenicity of peanut to BALB/c mice.Maillard reaction and structural changes of Ara h 3 induced by roasting significantly altered the uptake of Ara h 3-Roasted by BMDCs,and modified Ara h 3 fate in processes involved in immunogenicity and hyper allergenicity,indicating that food processing pattern can change food allergenicity.展开更多

Peanut allergy is considered to be a major health issue with global effects.To date,no effective curative approach has been applied for the therapy of the anaphylaxis resulting from the peanut allergens.The accurate a...Peanut allergy is considered to be a major health issue with global effects.To date,no effective curative approach has been applied for the therapy of the anaphylaxis resulting from the peanut allergens.The accurate and effective detection methods for the surveillance of allergens in food are still the primary strategies to avoid allergic diseases.In this study,nanobodies(Nbs)derived from the Heavy-Chain only Antibodies(HCAbs)were selected against the general peanut protein extract through the unbiased strategy to facilitate the development of the sandwich ELISA for the detection and surveillance of peanut allergen contamination.The target antigen of the selected Nb was identified as peanut allergen Ara h 3,and a cross-reaction was observed with the member of Gly 1 from the Ara h 3 family.The applicability of the self-paired Nb P43 on the establishment of the immuno-assay was verified.A sandwich ELISA against peanut allergen was developed,which reached a linear range of 0.2-10.6μg/mL,and a limit of detection of 53.13 ng/mL.展开更多
Electronic wallet(E-wallet),which combines software,hardware,and human interaction,is a modern platform for electronic payment.Financial services managers can create more effective strategies for advancing existing po...Electronic wallet(E-wallet),which combines software,hardware,and human interaction,is a modern platform for electronic payment.Financial services managers can create more effective strategies for advancing existing positions by evaluating the success of e-wallet services.The objective of this research is to create an integrated model for assessing E-wallet services using the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(FAHP)in conjunction with a technique for extent analysis and the ARAS approach(Additive Ratio Assessment).In this study,E-wallet service providers are ranked and evaluated using the ARAS approach and the FAHP priority weights.In addition,a case study from Vietnam illustrates how the methodology is used.The data shows that perceived usefulness,perceived usability,perceived simplicity of use,and perceived threat have the least impact on how acceptable an Ewallet is.As a result,the suggested model improves the efficiency of E-wallet service operations and assists in overcoming the challenges associated with the evaluation of E-wallet services.The case finding demonstrates that the suggested model is a reliable and useful tool for making decisions when assessing E-wallet service providers functioning in a complex and changing environment.展开更多

Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) was first identified and described as a disease by Berger and Hinglais in 1968. It is the most common primary glomerulopathy worldwide [1], most prevalent in East Asians and Caucasi...Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) was first identified and described as a disease by Berger and Hinglais in 1968. It is the most common primary glomerulopathy worldwide [1], most prevalent in East Asians and Caucasians and rare in black individuals. There are four key elements that contribute to IgAN, which determine the severity, course, and prognosis of the disease: circulating IgA immunocomplexes that favor mesangial deposition, the efficiency of the reticuloendothelial system, mesangial cell affinity and reaction to mesangial accumulation of poorly glycosylated IgA1, and the renal tendency to glomerulosclerosis and interstitial fibrosis. Clinical manifestations among patients with IgAN include hematuria, approximately 40% to 50% of cases present with one or more episodes of hematuria, usually preceded by upper respiratory tract infections. Between 30% and 40% present with hematuria and non-nephrotic range proteinuria that may be associated with arterial hypertension and impaired renal function. The TESTING study reveal a significant decrease in outcomes such as the risk of a 40% decrease in glomerular filtration rate or the need for renal replacement therapy in the group treated with steroids. The decrease in renal function compared to the group treated in the previously mentioned STOP-IgAN trial was 4 times less than in the TESTING study. Are we doing enough? Obviously, more trials are required with the use of adequate nephroprotection measures. We present 3 patients with a diagnosis of IgA nephropathy who attend the follow-up consultation and voluntarily decide to take part in the review.展开更多
