The slow phase transformation of microalloyed dual phase steel makes the nonuniform stress and temperature fields during the post rolling cooling process have a significant impact on the phase transformation process.Given the relatively slow phase transformation of DP780 steel within the microalloyed dual phase steel series,the influence of stress on the phase transformation behavior of DP780 steel was investigated.To quantify the nonuniform thermal and stress conditions in the steel coil,a thermo-mechanical coupled finite element model of the hot-rolled strip cooling process was established.Based on the simulation data,DP780 steel was chosen as the research material,and Gleeble 3500 thermal simulation equipment was used for experimental validation.The thermal expansion curves were analyzed through regression to establish the dynamic model of DP780 steel phase transformation under stress.Subsequently,metallographic analysis was conducted to determine phase transformation type and grain size of DP780 steel.The results confirmed that the stress promotes the occurrence of semi-diffusion-type bainite transformation.Furthermore,an appropriate level of stress facilitates the growth of bainitic grains,while the increased stress inhibits the growth of ferritic grains. 展开更多

The effects of Nb addition,individually and in combination with Ti,were evaluated over a range of coiling temperatures.Coiling temperature influences the ratio of soluble and precipitated Nb in the hot rolled steel containing 0.08 % C and 2.2 % Mn.Nb bearing precipitates can co-precipitate on TiN and impact the microstructure and mechanical properties of the steel after annealing treatment.Microstructure characterization revealed that recovery and recrystallization processes preceded austenite formation.The effects of Nb on austenite formation in cold rolled steels during heating and isothermal holding and on austenite decomposition during subsequent cooling were investigated using dilatometry.The addition of Nb retarded ferrite recrystallization starting temperature,but had no significant effect on the starting temperature of austenite formation during heating.The Nb addition also accelerated austenite formation once the transformation started,and was beneficial for the formation of a finer and homogeneous microstructure. 展开更多

The fine grained dual phase (FG-DP) steel with ferrite grains of 2-4.5 μm and martensite islands smaller than 3 μm was obtained through the mechanism of deformation-enhanced ferrite transformation (DEFT). Mechanical properties of the steel were tested at room temperature. The results indicated that with a similar volume fraction of martensite (about 20vol%),FG-DP steel exhibited a superior combination of higher strength and more rapid strain hardening at low strains compared with the coarse-grained dual phase (CG-DP) steel obtained by critical annealing. The combination of higher strength,large elongation,and more rapid strain hardening of FG-DP steel can be attributed to the fine ferrite grain and finely dispersed martensite islands. In addition,the uniformly distributed martensite islands in FG-DP steel have smaller interspacing compared with that of CG-DP steel. So,at the initial plastic deformation stage,the plastic deformation of ferrite was restrained and more pronounced load was transferred from ferrite to martensite. The plastic deformation of martensite in FG-DP steel started earlier. 展开更多

The C-Mn and C-Mn-Nb steels were thermo-mechanically processed to develop dual phase steel and to study the effect of controlled rolling on the martensitic hardenability of austenite. The steel specimens were intercritically annealed at 790℃, rolled at that temperature to the reductions of 10%, 23%, and 47% and immediately cooled at different rates. Quantitative metallography was used to construct the microstructure map, which illustrated that increasing deformation progressively reduced the proportion of new ferrite formed at all cooling rates and increased the amount of martensite at fast and intermediate rates. The martensitic hardenability of austenite remaining after all the rolling reductions was plotted as a function of cooling rates. It was observed that for the austenite-martensite conversion efficiencies greater than about 25%, controlled rolling increased the martensitic hardenability of austenite. 展开更多

With the development of advanced high strength steel,especially for dual-phase steel,the model algorithm for cooling control after hot rolling has to achieve the targeted coiling temperature control at the location of downcoiler whilst maintaining the cooling path control based on strip microstructure along the whole cooling section.A cooling path control algorithm was proposed for the laminar cooling process as a solution to practical difficulties associated with the realization of the thermal cycle during cooling process.The heat conduction equation coupled with the carbon diffusion equation with moving boundary was employed in order to simulate temperature change and phase transformation kinetics,making it possible to observe the temperature field and the phase fraction of the strip in real time.On this basis,an optimization method was utilized for valve settings to ensure the minimum deviations between the predicted and actual cooling path of the strip,taking into account the constraints of the cooling equipment′s specific capacity,cooling line length,etc.Results showed that the model algorithm was able to achieve the online cooling path control for dual-phase steel. 展开更多

Bake-hardening behaviour of carbon steel with different martensite morphologies and volume fraction was investigated. The specimens with fibrous and bulky martensite were prestrained in tension by 4%. After this, they were unloaded and bake hardened at 180 ℃ for 10-160 min. It was found that dual-phase steel samples which were bake hardened at 180 ℃ for 20 rain showed an increase in the yield stress (YS) and ultimate tensile stress (UTS) but a decrease in ductility. Further increase in the bake-hardening time of 80 or 160 min has reduced the YS and UTS, but increased the ductility. △σ (increase in stress due to bake hardening), YS and UTS values are higher for the microstructure containing fibrous martensite compared to the microstructure-containing bulky martensite. It was also observed that at a given baking temperature Aa, YS and UTS increased by volume of martensite. 展开更多

采用热模拟实验、光学显微镜、显微硬度仪和透射电镜等研究了等温温度对Ti-Mo微合金高强双相钢相变、组织及性能的影响。结果表明:当等温温度在750~725℃时,实验钢组织主要为马氏体+少量贝氏体或铁素体,随着等温温度降低(≤700℃),铁素... 采用热模拟实验、光学显微镜、显微硬度仪和透射电镜等研究了等温温度对Ti-Mo微合金高强双相钢相变、组织及性能的影响。结果表明:当等温温度在750~725℃时,实验钢组织主要为马氏体+少量贝氏体或铁素体,随着等温温度降低(≤700℃),铁素体含量增多,排碳行为增加了过冷奥氏体的稳定性,抑制了中低温区贝氏体相变,在随后的冷却阶段,过冷奥氏体更倾向转变为马氏体。铁素体与马氏体的显微硬度均随等温温度降低而增加,但进一步降低温度,马氏体硬度基本保持稳定(361 HV0.1);650℃时铁素体显微硬度最高(242 HV0.1),这主要是由于铁素体内部产生了大量细小的相间析出,同时析出强化作用减小了铁素体与马氏体的硬度差异,降低了双相钢强度对马氏体体积分数的依赖性,等温温度较高时,相间析出形成被抑制。 展开更多

对Si-Mn系低碳钢冷轧板进行不同热处理后分别获得相变诱发塑性(Transformation induced plasticity,TRIP)钢和双相(Dual phase,DP)钢,而后通过电子万能试验机和旋转盘式杆杆型冲击拉伸试验装置分别对其进行应变率为0.001 s–1、630 s–1... 对Si-Mn系低碳钢冷轧板进行不同热处理后分别获得相变诱发塑性(Transformation induced plasticity,TRIP)钢和双相(Dual phase,DP)钢,而后通过电子万能试验机和旋转盘式杆杆型冲击拉伸试验装置分别对其进行应变率为0.001 s–1、630 s–1、1 490 s–1和0.001 s–1、560 s–1、1 340 s–1的静态和动态拉伸试验。通过对比研究发现:TRIP钢和DP钢的屈服强度、抗拉强度随着应变率的增加而不断增大;高速率下变形局部化导致动态下的DP钢和TRIP钢均匀伸长率都比静态下小。高速率下的绝热温升效应使得DP钢1 340 s–1的均匀伸长率和断裂伸长率都比560 s–1的要大,TRIP钢1 490 s–1也比630 s–1的要大。由于DP钢的绝热温升效应大于变形局部化效应,使得动态下DP钢的断裂伸长率比静态下要大;而TRIP钢因为有残余奥氏体转变马氏体现象,绝热温升效应远小于变形局部化效应,使得动态下TRIP钢的断裂伸长率比静态下要小。 展开更多

在Gleeble-1500热应力/应变模拟机上测定了0.06C-0.6Si-1.5Mn-0.6Cr双相钢的未变形和变形连续冷却转变曲线(CCT曲线).利用光学显微镜对组织进行了观察,利用维氏硬度计对金相组织进行了测定.结果表明,当冷却速度小于10℃/s... 在Gleeble-1500热应力/应变模拟机上测定了0.06C-0.6Si-1.5Mn-0.6Cr双相钢的未变形和变形连续冷却转变曲线(CCT曲线).利用光学显微镜对组织进行了观察,利用维氏硬度计对金相组织进行了测定.结果表明,当冷却速度小于10℃/s时,随着冷却速度的增加,贝氏体体积分数和宏观维氏硬度值增加都较为明显;而当冷却速度在10—20℃/s范围内时,无论变形还是未变形时贝氏体体积分数和硬度的变化都趋于平缓.由CCT曲线可知,实验钢经变形后奥氏体向铁素体转变温度在780~550℃之间,在2—20℃/s范围内可以获得贝氏体组织. 展开更多
