As an important branch of telecommunication technology, digital home networks have quickly developed in recent years. Although architecture of the digital home network based on telecommunication networks has been standardized in China, only wireless access is defined to be allowable. Therefore, it becomes the focus of further research how to establish a wireless digital home network. This article proposes the concept and shows the architecture of ubiquitous access for wireless digital home networks. Moreover, key technologies for ubiquitous access are discussed here, including cognitive radio, the concept of wireless Mesh, generic link transfer mechanism, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee mechanism, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and coexistence of heterogeneous systems. 展开更多

In the evolving landscape of cardiac rehabilitation(CR),adopting digital technologies, including synchronous/real-time digital interventions and smart applications, has emerged as a transformative approach. These technologies offer realtime health data access, continuous vital sign monitoring, and personalized educational enhanced patient self-management and engagement.Despite their potential benefits, challenges and limitations exist, necessitating careful consideration.Synchronous/real-time digital CR involves remote,two-way audiovisual communication, addressing issues of accessibility and promoting home-based interventions.Smart applications extend beyond traditional healthcare, providing real-time health data and fostering patient empowerment.Wearable devices and mobile apps enable continuous monitoring, tracking of rehabilitation outcomes, and facilitate lifestyle modifications crucial for cardiac health maintenance. As digital CR progresses, ensuring patient access, equitable implementation, and addressing the digital divide becomes paramount.Artificial intelligence holds promise in the early detection of cardiac events and tailoring patient-specific CR programs. However, challenges such as digital literacy, data privacy, and security must be addressed to ensure inclusive implementation. Moreover, the shift toward digital CR raises concerns about cost, safety, and potential depersonalization of therapeutic relationships.A transformative shift towards technologically enabled CR necessitates further research, focusing not only on technological advancements but also on customization to meet diverse patient needs.Overcoming challenges related to cost, safety, data security, and potential depersonalization is crucial for the widespread adoption of digital CR.Future studies should explore integrating moral values into digital therapeutic relationships and ensure that digital CR is accessible, equitable, and seamlessly integrated into routine cardiac care.Theoretical frameworks that accommodate the dynamic quality of real-time monitoring and feedback feature of digital CR interventions should be considered to guide intervention development. 展开更多

It is wise for fixed operators to make use of broadband wireless access technologies, such as IEEE802.16d,to develop mobile access based on their existing fixed broadband IP networks.Mobile operators have to evolve their networks from 2G to 3G for making full use of their current resources. However, the AII-IP core network will be a general trend since broadband wireless access adopts the connectionless statistical packet multiplexing technology.Based on the introduction of IEEE802.16d,High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and CDMA2000 1x EV-DV technologies, this paper discusses the development trend of broadband wireless access technologies, and concludes that 3G's packet access technologies are the same as IEEE802.16d/e,and AII-IP is the goal.It emphasizes that Chinese TD-SCDMA should develop toward connectionless statistical packet multiplexing as early as possible. 展开更多

Non-orthogonal multiple access technology(NOMA),as a potentially promising technology in the 5G/B5G era, suffers fromubiquitous security threats due to the broadcast nature of the wirelessmedium. In this paper,we focus on artificial-signal-assisted and relay-assisted secure downlink transmission schemes against external eavesdropping in the context of physical layer security, respectively. To characterize the non-cooperative confrontation around the secrecy rate between the legitimate communication party and the eavesdropper, their interactions are modeled as a two-person zero-sum game. The existence of the Nash equilibrium of the proposed game models is proved, and the pure strategyNash equilibriumand mixed-strategyNash equilibriumprofiles in the two schemes are solved and analyzed, respectively. The numerical simulations are conducted to validate the analytical results, and showthat the two schemes improve the secrecy rate and further enhance the physical layer security performance of NOMA systems. 展开更多

Several assessing efforts are approved making both communication and information technologies available. In addition to being a part of universal access and service,we aim at assessing the impact of radio access technologies on universal access indicators. The proposed work demonstrates the possibility of inter-working of all existing Radio Access Technologies(RATs),in a limited area presented in the Six Generation Radio Resources Allocation(6 G-A)network.We propose a solution for the Vertical hand Over(VHO)in 6 G-A heterogeneous system, that adopts Media Independent Handover(MIH)protocol to benefit between different used technologies in a direct communication firstly and facilitate,in addition, coordination between congestion controlmechanisms with themobilitymanagement entity. The mathematical model has been developed to deal with locality coverage and broadband needs, based on a methodological approach consisting in integrating parameters linked to access index through radio technologies. This approach has been applied. In practice,it has contributed to highlighting its relative simplicity of implementation, but it is not enough for sixgeneration system radio access networks. The congestion control mechanism is integrated within the vertical handover process, this proposition is used to prevent each presented congestion state. The media independent handover IS equipment,as well as six G-A equipment which are both considered as the whole architecture key equipment, perform and guaranty this related process.Efficient communication is established besides information exchange between various technologies.Achieved evaluation results are performant and prove that proposed mechanisms are efficient. Both simulation and tests results are accomplished. 展开更多

A challenge in the convergence of heterogeneous networks is how to combine the ubiquitous resources and provide the diversified individual services. This paper designs a market model for aggregating reconfiguration in heterogeneous networks based on the tradeoff between resource allocation and consumers' requirement. To unify the benefits of operators and consumers, a novel Stackelberg-based dynamic incentive pricing algorithm is proposed. The results of the theoretical analysis and simulation demonstrate that the proposed strategy provides incentive for cooperation by means of appropriate resource allocation, and improves the utilization of network resources, thereby effectively realizing the optimization of the whole network performance. 展开更多
