Dielectric relaxation of alcohols (1-propanol, 1-butanol, sec-butanol, tert-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-heptanol, 1-octanol, and 1-decanol) with acrylic esters (methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, and butyl methacryla...Dielectric relaxation of alcohols (1-propanol, 1-butanol, sec-butanol, tert-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-heptanol, 1-octanol, and 1-decanol) with acrylic esters (methyl methacrylate, ethyl methacrylate, and butyl methacrylate) at 9.84 GHz were studied in n-heptane at 298 K. The result showed that 1∶1 complex was predominant in these systems. The relaxation time showed a linear dependence with alkyl chain length of both alcohols and acrylic esters, but the dielectric constant showed a reverse trend. A comparative study of the free energy of activation for the dielectric relaxation and viscous flow suggested that a greater interference by neighboring atom was observed in the process of viscous flow than in dielectric relaxation, as the latter involved rotational form of motion, whereas the viscous flow involved both rotational and translational forms of motion.展开更多

These UPEAs were then treated with acrylotl chloride to afford acrylated UPEAs resin (i.e. AUPEAs). Interacting blends of equal proportional AUPEAs and vinyl ester epoxy (VE) resin were prepared. APEAs and AUPEAs were characterized by elemental analysis, molecular weight determined by vapour pressure osmometer and by IR spectral study and by thermogravimetry. The curing of interacting blends was monitored on differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). Based on DSC data in situ glass reinforced composites of the resultant blends have been prepared and characterized for mechanical, electrical and chemical properties. In order to inves-tigate the adsorption behavior and mechanism of surfactants on acrylic ester resins, three kinds of surfactants were utilized as adsorbates that were sodium 6-dodecyl benzenesulfonate (6-NaDBS), sodium 1-dodecyl benzene sulfonate (1-NaDBS) and sodium 1-dodecyl sulfonate, respectively. It was observed that the surface area was available in a particular pore size and an appropriate pore size of resins appeared to be more important for the adsorption of surfactants. As compared to commercial acrylic ester resins XAD-7 and HP2MG, 50# and 38# resins exhibited more excellent adsorption properties toward 1-NaDBS and 6-NaDBS. The experimental equilibrium data were fitted to the Langmuir, and double-Langmuir models. Two models provided very good fittings for all resins over the temperature range studied. The investigation indicated that electrostatic attraction and hydrogen bond between resins and surfactants were the main forces and had an obvious effect on adsorption proc-ess.展开更多
Wound healing dressing is increasingly needed in clinical owing to the large quantity of skin damage annually.Excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)produced through internal or external environmental influences can le...Wound healing dressing is increasingly needed in clinical owing to the large quantity of skin damage annually.Excessive reactive oxygen species(ROS)produced through internal or external environmental influences can lead to lipid peroxidation,protein denaturation,and even DNA damage,and ultimately have harmful effects on cells.Aiming to sufficiently contact with the wound microenvironment and scavenge ROS,superabsorbent poly(acrylic acid)and antioxidant poly(ester amide)(PAA/PEA)hybrid hydrogel has been developed to enhance wound healing.The physical and chemical properties of hybrid hydrogels were studied by Fourier-transform infrared(FTIR)absorption spectrum,compression,swelling,degradation,etc.Besides,the antioxidant properties of hybrid hydrogels can be investigated through the free radical scavenging experiment,and corresponding antioxidant indicators have been tested at the cellular level.Hybrid hydrogel scaffolds supported the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells and fibroblasts,as well as accelerated angiogenesis and skin regeneration in wounds.The healing properties of wounds in vivo were further assessed on mouse skin wounds.Results showed that PAA/PEA hybrid hydrogel scaffolds significantly accelerated the wound healing process through enhancing granulation formation and re-epithelialization.In summary,these superabsorbent and antioxidative hybrid hydrogels could be served as an excellent wound dressing for full-thickness wound healing.展开更多

文摘为了提高丙烯酸树脂的耐水性、附着力以及耐溶剂性,以桐油酸和环氧树脂E-44为原料制备环氧酯,采用溶液聚合和自乳化工艺合成了环氧酯改性水性丙烯酸树脂,并引入氰特CY325氨基树脂制备双组分环氧酯改性水性丙烯酸树脂漆膜。利用FT-IR、1 H NMR、粒径测试等对环氧酯单体、环氧酯改性水性丙烯酸树脂的结构和性能进行表征和分析,并测试了单组分和双组分环氧酯改性水性丙烯酸树脂漆膜的硬度、光泽、吸水率、水接触角、耐溶剂性等性能。结果表明:当环氧酯用量为35%时,单/双组分漆膜综合性能达到最佳,双组分漆膜光泽(60°)达102.3,耐溶剂擦拭次数为500次,耐水性可达480 h,附着力为0级,铅笔硬度为4H,耐冲击性为50 cm。
