一般的UP固化物往往存在韧性较差等问题,需要对其进行增韧改性。鉴于nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合材料表现出的优异力学性能,且目前未见有研究将其用于改性沥青,对nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合改性沥青的配方(包括nano-SiO_(2)的种类、各类添加剂的掺量... 一般的UP固化物往往存在韧性较差等问题,需要对其进行增韧改性。鉴于nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合材料表现出的优异力学性能,且目前未见有研究将其用于改性沥青,对nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合改性沥青的配方(包括nano-SiO_(2)的种类、各类添加剂的掺量等)进行研究,通过拉伸试验、离析试验等确定出nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合改性沥青的最优配比。研究结果表明:nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合改性沥青中的A组分和B组分应由“先掺法”进行制备,其中A组分为UP、引发剂、偶联剂,B组分是由沥青、相容剂等外加剂组成的混合成分;其最优配比为m(A组分)∶m(B组分)=1∶2.6,其中A组分的成分为m(树脂)∶m(A型nano-SiO_(2))∶m(引发剂)∶m(偶联剂)=100∶3∶4∶3, B组分的构成为m(沥青)∶m(相容剂)=100∶4。 展开更多

为了研究干摩擦条件下对偶面粗糙度对纳米粒子填充改性聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)摩擦学性能的影响,采用冷压成型、热烧结的工艺方法制备nano-SiO2填充改性PTFE复合材料;采用LSR–2M型往复摩擦磨损试验机评价了nano-SiO2改性PTFE复合材料与具有3... 为了研究干摩擦条件下对偶面粗糙度对纳米粒子填充改性聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)摩擦学性能的影响,采用冷压成型、热烧结的工艺方法制备nano-SiO2填充改性PTFE复合材料;采用LSR–2M型往复摩擦磨损试验机评价了nano-SiO2改性PTFE复合材料与具有3种不同表面粗糙度的对偶钢块(GCr15)之间的摩擦学特性;利用光学显微镜(OM)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和能谱仪(EDS)分别表征了转移膜及磨屑的形貌、微观结构以及化学成分,从微观角度揭示nano-SiO2改性PTFE复合材料的摩擦转移机理。试验结果表明:纯PTFE及不同含量nano-SiO2改性PTFE复合材料的摩擦系数随着对偶钢块表面粗糙度的增大整体呈现增大趋势,在粗糙度Ra为0.1的对偶表面上复合材料的摩擦系数随着nano-SiO2含量的增加变化相对较小;在3种不同粗糙度对偶表面上,nano-SiO2的加入均有效降低了PTFE的磨损体积,当填充比例为0.5%时复合材料在粗糙度Ra为1.2的对偶面上摩擦学性能最佳,磨合时间比纯PTFE缩短了近10 min,耐磨性比纯PTFE提高了33.3%;复合材料中nano-SiO2的含量与对偶表面粗糙度存在一定的协同效应,即填充适量nano-SiO2的PTFE复合材料与具有一定表面粗糙度的对偶钢块组成的摩擦配副能有效促进复合材料的摩擦转移,并能在对偶表面形成覆盖率高、均匀、连续、表面较粗糙且与摩擦方向趋向一致的转移膜,有利于降低材料的磨损。 展开更多

The pozzolanic activity of nano-SiO2 and silica fume was comparatirely stndied by X-ray diffraction ( XRD ) , differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), scanning electron micrascopy (SEM) and the compressive , bond and bending streugths of hardened paste and concrete were also measured. Results indicate that the compressive strength development of the paste made from Ca(OH)2 and nano-SiO2, the reaction rate of Ca( OH)2 with nano- SiO2 and the velocity of C-S-H gel formation from Ca ( OH)2 with nano-SiO2 showed marked increases over those of Ca( OH)2 with silica fume. Furthermore, the bond strength at the interface between aggregate and hardened cement paste, and the bending strength of concrete incorporated with 3% .NS increased more than those with SF, especially at early ages. To sum up, the pozzolanic activity of nano-SiO2 was much greater than that of silica fume. The results suggest that with a small amount of nano-SiO2, the Ca( OH)2 crystal at the interface between hardened cement paste and aggregate at early ages may be effectively absorbed in high performance concrete. 展开更多

We put forward a large-area and cost-effective method to fabricate superhydrophobic coating by introducing in-situ functionalized nano-SiO2 into side-amino modified hydroxy-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (SA-HTPDMS) curing system. With the characterization using water contact angle (WCA) tester, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and simultaneous thermal analysis, the as-prepared coating displayed a tremendous WCA of 154.8±1°, sliding angle (SA) about 3.5° and stable self-cleaning property range from -10 to 80 ℃. It was also found that the synergistic effect of surface micro-nano hierarchical structure and chemical hydrophobicity, stability from matrix had made contributions to the superhydrophobicity and excellent heat resistance up to 300 ℃. 展开更多

The influences of different nano-SiO2(NS) contents on the mechanical properties and rheological behavior of sulfoaluminate cement(SAC) based composite materials were studied.Results show that with increasing content of NS,the apparent viscosity,and shearing strength of fresh paste gradually increase but the fluidity decreases.With a dosage of 3.0%NS,the tensile and flexural strengths of mortars at 56 days were increased by 87.0%and 84.6%,respectively,compared with that in the absence of NS,indicating that the toughness of hardened mortars is significantly improved.Besides,the exothermic peaks of hydration are obviously increased and will earlier occur,and the second and the third peaks appear 2.61 hours and 2.56 hours earlier,respectively than that in the absence of NS,and the hydration of SAC before 8 hours is accelerated.The forming mechanism of strengths was revealed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),hydration heat,X-ray diffraction(XRD) and derivative thermogravimetry(DTG).The micro-aggregate filling effect and nucleation effect at early age and weak pozzolanic effect at late age of NS make the microstructure more compact,which obviously enhances the strength of SAC mortars. 展开更多

The test of fast-freezing method is employed to research the freezing resistance of C60 and C80 high-performance concrete with nanometer-SiO2, and XRD and SEM are employed to analyze the mechanism of its influence. The experimental results show that the freezing resistance of high-performance concrete has been effectively improved. The compressive strength of C60, C70 and C80 high-performance concrete added with nano-SiO2 can be improved by 8%, 6% and 5% respectively, the weight loss can be reduced by 1%, 0.6% and 0.3% respectively and the relative dynamic elastic modulus can be improved by 7%, 4% and 6% respectively after the 300 times freeze-thaw cycle. 展开更多

The study showed that the ultra-fine boron carbide added modified the microstructure of residual carbon and promoted the chemical bond between residual carbon from phenolic resin and flake graphite. The carbon white could strengthen the residual carbon from phenolic resin. These two additives improved the mechanical properties of AG refractories at both room temperature and high temperature, and thermal shock resistance was improved noticeably. When the two additives were doped together, carbon white could retard the evaporation of B 2O 3. Thermal shock resistance was guaranteed with a smaller amount of ultra-fine boron carbide. 展开更多

Nano-SiO2 was modified using silane coupling agent (KH-550) and hyperbranched poly(amine-ester) respectively, and Poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC)/modified nano-SiO2 composites were made by melt-blending. The composites' structures andmechanical properties were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM), sanning electronic microscopy(SEM) and electronic universal testing machine. The results. show that nano-SiO2 grafted by hyperbranched poly (amine-ester) increases obviously in dispersion in PVC matrix, and mechanical properties of PVC are effectively improved. Moreover, it was found that mechanical properties of PVC/nano-SiO2 composites reach the best when weight percent of nano-SiO2 in PVC matrix is 1%. Compared with crude PVC, the tensile strength of hyperbranched poly (amine-ester) grafted nano-SiO2/ PVC composite increases by 24.68 % and its break elongation, flexural strength and impact strength increase by 15.73%, 4.07% and 1 841.84%, respectively. The nano-SiO2 particles were organized by wet process surface treatment with silane coupling agent KH-570. The effect of mass fraction of nano-SiO2 particles and dosage of KH-570 on the toughening and strengthening of PP matrix were investigated based on the fractography of impact notch and the analysis of crystal structure by X-ray and dispersive structure of nano-SiO2 by TEM. Results show that the impact and flexural strength and modulus of the composite are improved obviously with low loading of nano-SiO2 (3 wt%-5 wt%), and the izod impact strength of PP increases twice with 4 wt% nano-SiO2. The nano-SiO2 particles treated can disperse into the matrix resin, which has evident heterogeneous nucleation effects on the crystallization of PP. The optimal toughening and strengthening effects of PP matrix can be obtained when the content of nano-SiO2 and KH-570 are 4 wt% and 3 wt%, respectively. 展开更多

In situ melt polycondensation was proposed to prepare biodegradable aliphatic-aromatic copolyesters/nano-SiO2 hybrids based on terephthalic acid (TPA), poly(L-lactic acid) oligomer (OLLA), 1,4-butanediol (BDO) and nano-SiO2. TEM and FT-IR characterizations confirmed that TPA, OLLA and BDO copolymerized to obtain biodegradable copolyesters, poly(butylene terepbthalate-co-lactate) (PBTL), and the abundant hydroxyl groups on the surface of nano-SiO2 provided potential sites for in situ grafting with the simultaneous resulted PBTL. The nano-SiO2 particles were chemically wrapped with PBTL to form PBTL/nano- SiO2 hybrids. Due to the good dispersion and interfacial adhesion of nano-SiO2 particles with the copolyester matrix, the tensile strength and the Young's modulus increased from 5.4 and 5.6 MPa for neat PBTL to 16 and 390 MPa for PBTL/nano-SiO2 hybrids with 5 wt.% nano-SiO2, respectively.
