At present,the development of e-commerce is slow for agricultural products in China. Taking agricultural workers as the research object,this paper analyzed factors influencing the implementation of e-commerce of agricultural products. Besides,from the enterprise status,market conditions,and groundings,with the aid of the GEM( Groundings-Enterprises-Markets) model,it evaluated the factors influencing the development of e-commerce of agricultural products. Then,using SPSS software,it analyzed factors and came up with improvement recommendations. The results show that 59% of the respondents are willing to conduct e-commerce,and the status of the enterprises,market conditions and groundings are main factors influencing the implementation of e-commerce of agricultural products. Therefore,it is required to increase industrial concentration,promote cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises( SMEs),and strengthen infrastructure construction,so as to promote the development of e-commerce of agricultural products. 展开更多

The rapid development of cross-border e-commerce,especially since Chengdu was listed as an Integrated Pilot Zone for Cross-Border E-Commerce in 2016,has led to a rising trade value of agricultural products in the metropolis.This upward trend is also attributed to the China-Europe Railway Express and the Chengdu International Aviation Hub Integrated Functional Area,two infrastructure systems that have opened more international logistics channels for agricultural products in Sichuan province.However,the development of cross-border logistics has failed to respond to the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce for agricultural products.This problem has given rise to longer delivery cycles,higher costs,and reduced product quality,hindering the development of cross-border e-commerce for agricultural products.Currently,most research efforts are focused on selecting a logistics mode which has created an urgency is to establish a logistics system.To that end,we must utilize the opportunities and preferential policies brought about by the Belt and Road Initiative to advance the establishment of a cross-border logistics system for agricultural products,which will create more channels for selling Sichuan’s agricultural products overseas.This article analyzes the current situation of the cross-border logistics system for agricultural products produced by the province and studies the potential relationships between a logistics system and cross-border trade of agricultural products.It seeks to build a logistics system that meets the demands of cross-border transactions using economic theories focused on cross-border e-commerce and logistics.Such a logistic system will help shorten long delivery cycles,cut delivery costs,and guarantee the quality of agricultural products.Also,it can contribute to the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce of agricultural products and solve problems in developing the agricultural products logistics system of Sichuan province. 展开更多

In the light of the practical situation of logistics distribution of agricultural products,we primarily select transportation factor,economic factor,environment factor,and other factors,to establish evaluation index system of site selection of distribution center of agricultural products.And then we adopt the analytic hierarchy process method to calculate weight of site selection of distribution center of agricultural products.Under the circumstance that the evaluation information is interval number,we use uncertain and multiple attribute decision making method to establish site selection model of distribution center of agricultural products.Finally,taking one city as an example,we discuss the application of this model in site selection of distribution center of agricultural products.The results of empirical analysis show that the model we established fully considers the randomness and uncertainty in the process of evaluation,so as to make the results of evaluation more objective,in line with reality.So the effect of evaluation is better as against the former real number evaluation calibration. 展开更多

Yunnan Province is the bridgehead for the opening of the southwest region in China,and the economic frontier of China-ASEAN economic cooperation,where the export of agricultural products plays an important role in promoting the openness of the southwest region and strengthening China-ASEAN economic cooperation.In this paper,we use CMS model to analyze causes of the increase in the exports of agricultural products in Yunnan Province during the period 2001-2010.It is found that the expanded import scale of agricultural products in the world,improvement in the export competitiveness of products and the adaption of product export structure to the changes in the structure of world import demand,are the main factors responsible for increase in the exports of agricultural products in Yunnan Province.In recent years, the improvement of competitiveness of the export of agricultural products becomes a key factor for the growth of the export of agricultural products in Yunnan Province.In terms of the products classified,strong export competitiveness has promoted the export of plant products,such as beverages and tobacco,while weak export competitiveness and unreasonable export structure has impeded the export of animal products,plant and animal oil and fat products. 展开更多

Based on the research introduction of domestic and foreign scholars,dynamic equilibrium between the rural labor force flow and the price of agricultural product is analyzed by VEC model,according to the data of the rural labor force flow and the price of agricultural products in the years 1990-2007.Chows breakpoint test is used to measure the stage characteristics of the impact of rural labor force flow on the price of agricultural product.Result shows that there is a long-term and stationary relationship between the flow quantity of rural labor force and the price of agricultural product.Rural labor force flow,as an exogenous force,affects the agricultural production,and further influences the price fluctuation of agricultural products.Impact of rural labor force flow on the price of agricultural product is from weak to strong,then grows gradually weaker,and reaches its peak value at the year 1998.With the development of rural society and economy and the market process,rural labor force flow endogenously affects the price of agricultural product,which has periodic characteristics.In order to achieve a dual stabilization of the rural labor force flow and the price of agricultural products,the following countermeasures are put forward:vigorously developing vocational education,increasing the support for agricultural production,and making active employment measures. 展开更多

With the extensive use of the Internet and mobile technology, E-commerce in China has shown tremendous growth advantages and market potential, especially in promoting the access of eco-agriculture products. The E-commerce of agriculture products has shown diversification on the mainstay. "Three products, one indication"(pollution-free, green product, organic product, geographical indication) has becomes the primary character. Although the market of fresh products occupies a limited and meager profit, the blue sea effect has caused capital to enter into a large-scale development. It is very clearly shown after the analysis that the market of eco-agricultural E-commerce is vast and the expansionist policy for E-commerce environment is favorable. Meanwhile the required hardware and software of network in E-commerce are basically equipped with rapid development of service technology and strong driving force for innovation and development as well as an endless stream of new models and platforms. The whole phrase of development can be divided into five major stages. Through the analysis of five perspectives, such as platform, driver, participant, food supplier and Taobao, 16 types of agro-products E-commerce models and their different types of e-payment support systems are summarized, revealing the two major bottlenecks of development, namely the markets with limited share and low profit-making and the impact of cold chain services on E-commerce development. Taking the price of grain in Guizhou Province as an example, by establishing GARCH model, I calculate VAR of logarithm return of grain price index, in order to conduct research on the variation law of price of the agricultural products. The results show that VAR of grain in Guizhou has variation. After the year 2010, VAR value is gradually increasing, and the price variation risk of grain market tends to increase progressively. Based on the characteristics of grain price variation, a series of corresponding proposals are put forward to stabilize the grain price as follows: strengthen the agricultural infrastructure construction, and promote the agricultural overall production capacity; reinforce the market supervision on the circulation field of agricultural products, and maintain market order; improve regulation system of agricultural products, and stabilize the price of agricultural products; strengthen mobility regulation, and prevent a flood of speculative cash. 展开更多

Based on the data related to the Chinese and world agricultural production and trade from 1986 to 2011,this paper uses the principal component analysis,cointegration and vector error correction model to perform the empirical analysis of the impact of processing,import and export of agricultural products on the agricultural modernization in China. The results show that the processing and export of agricultural products play a role in promoting the agricultural modernization in China,while the import of agricultural products has some negative effects on the agricultural modernization in China. The negative effects of the import of agricultural products are from the limitations of farmers' small-scale operation and foreign trading partners' protectionism. China should further develop the processing industry of agricultural products,and strengthen the role of downstream industries in promoting the agricultural modernization; improve the level of large-scale and intensive operation,and make good use of WTO rules,in order to provide the necessary market conditions for the agricultural modernization. 展开更多

This paper studies how the price movements of pork,chicken and egg respond to those of related cost factors in short terms in Chinese market.We employ a linear quantile approach not only to explore potential data heteroscedasticity but also to generate confidence bands for the purpose of price stability study.We then evaluate our models by comparing the prediction intervals generated from the quantile regression models with in-sample and out-of-sample forecasts.Using monthly data from January 2000 to October 2010,we observed these findings:(i) the price changes of cost factors asymmetrically and unequally influence those of the livestock across different quantiles;(ii) the performance of our models is robust and consistent for both in-sample and out-of-sample forecasts;(iii) the confidence intervals generated from 0.05th and 0.95th quantile regression models are good methods to forecast livestock price fluctuation. 展开更多
