A new europium(Ⅲ) complex Eu2(C15H11O3)6(C12H8N2)2 has been synthesized with 2-(4-Methylbenzoyl)benzoic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline as ligands. Crystal data for the complex are as follows: monoclinic, space group P21/n, a = 15.1238(5), b = 13.5928(4), c = 22.9840(7) ?, β = 104.132(3)o, V = 4582.0(2) ?3, Dc = 1.522 g/cm3, Z = 4, μ(Mo Kα) = 1.433 mm-1, F(000) = 2128, the final R = 0.0447 and wR = 0.0826. The Eu(Ⅲ) ion is coordinated by eight atoms to give a distorted square antiprism coordination geometry. The complex shows two intense fluorescence emission bands arising from the transitions of Eu3+: 5 D0 → 7 F1(594 nm) and 5 D0 → 7 F2(617 nm). The complex is an antiferromagnetism system in the range of 150~300 K. Also reported in the paper is the thermal stability property of the title complex. 展开更多

The title complexes [Al(Hcah)(H2O)2]·2H2O (A) and [Bi(Hcah)(H2O)]n (B), where H4cah = 2-[N,N-bis(carboxymethyl)aminomethyl] hydroquinone, have been synthesized and characterized using X-ray single-c... The title complexes [Al(Hcah)(H2O)2]·2H2O (A) and [Bi(Hcah)(H2O)]n (B), where H4cah = 2-[N,N-bis(carboxymethyl)aminomethyl] hydroquinone, have been synthesized and characterized using X-ray single-crystal structure determination, IR and elemental analysis. Both complexes crystallize in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 7.8660(16), b = 10.096(2), c = 19.053(4) and β = 93.50(3)° for A; and those for B: a = 9.2348(18), b = 7.9061(16), c = 17.141(3) and β = 102.64(3)°. In addition, further investigation revealed that the central Al(III) ion in the mononuclear complex A is in a distorted octahedral coordination geometry, while structural analysis reveals that the Bi(III) ion is in a distorted pentagonal bipyramid, forming a 2-D polymeric complex B, and the coordination network is a 2D 4.82 net. The TG analyses of A indicate two steps of water loss. 展开更多

Two new bearing Bi(Ⅲ) supramolecular compounds [Bi(pydcH)_(3)(Bi(pydcH)(pydcH_(2))(pydc)(Bi(pydcH)(pydcH_(2))(pydc)](1) and {[Bi(pydcH)_(3)]·(H_(2)O)_(5)(Dmap)}_(2)(2) have been successfully synthesized via hydrothermal reaction(pydcH_(2) = 2,6-pyridine dicarboxylate, Dmap = 4-dimethylamiopyridine). They have been structurally determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis, and characterized by fluorescence analysis and thermogravimetric analysis(TG). Both compounds 1 and 2 are of the same triclinic system with different structures. The decomposition mechanisms of compounds 1 and 2 are discussed. Compared to 1, lots of small molecules were possibly removed from compound 2 below 250 ℃. In addition, the photoluminescence properties were also investigated. 展开更多
