Energy-storage systems and their production have attracted significant interest for practical applications.Batteries are the foundation of sustainable energy sources for electric vehicles(EVs),portable electronic devices(PEDs),etc.In recent decades,Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs) have been extensively utilized in largescale energy storage devices owing to their long cycle life and high energy density.However,the high cost and limited availability of Li are the two main obstacles for LIBs.In this regard,sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) are attractive alternatives to LIBs for large-scale energy storage systems because of the abundance and low cost of sodium materials.Cathode is one of the most important components in the battery,which limits cost and performance of a battery.Among the classified cathode structures,layered structure materials have attracted attention because of their high ionic conductivity,fast diffusion rate,and high specific capacity.Here,we present a comprehensive review of the classification of layered structures and the preparation of layered materials.Furthermore,the review article discusses extensively about the issues of the layered materials,namely(1) electrochemical degradation,(2) irreversible structural changes,and(3) structural instability,and also it provides strategies to overcome the issues such as elemental phase composition,a small amount of elemental doping,structural design,and surface alteration for emerging SIBs.In addition,the article discusses about the recent research development on layered unary,binary,ternary,quaternary,quinary,and senary-based O3-and P2-type cathode materials for high-energy SIBs.This review article provides useful information for the development of high-energy layered sodium transition metal oxide P2 and O3-cathode materials for practical SIBs. 展开更多

Modification of Nano-α-Al2O3 and Its Influence on the Surface Properties of Waterborne Polyurethane Resin Composite Passivation Films

Silane coupling agent KH560 was used to modify the surface of nano-α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> in ethanol-aqueous solution with different proportions. The particle size of nano-α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> was determined by nano-particle size analyzer, and the effects of nano-α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> content, ethanol-aqueous solution ratio and KH560 dosage on the dispersion and particle size of nano-α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> were investigated. The material structure before and after modification was determined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Aqueous polyurethane resin and inorganic components are combined with modified nano-α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> dispersion to form chromium-free passivation solution. The solution is coated on the galvanized sheet, the adhesion and surface hardness are tested, the bonding strength of the coating and the surface hardness of the substrate are discussed. The corrosion resistance and surface morphology of the matrix were investigated by electrochemical test, neutral salt spray test and scanning electron microscope test. The chromium-free passivation film formed after the modification of nano-α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> increases the surface hardness of galvanized sheet by about 85%. The corrosion resistance of the film is better than that of a single polyurethane film. The results show that the surface hardness and corrosion resistance of polyurethane resin composite passivation film are significantly improved by the introduction of nano-α-Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>. 展开更多

为降低金刚石磨削工具的制造成本和能耗,探寻一种在低能耗下实现高性能陶瓷结合剂金刚石磨具的制备工艺,同时研究助燃剂Si和金刚石粒度等因素对样品物相组成、显微形貌和磨削性能的影响。采用Ti、Si、石墨粉和金刚石磨料作为原料,经冷... 为降低金刚石磨削工具的制造成本和能耗,探寻一种在低能耗下实现高性能陶瓷结合剂金刚石磨具的制备工艺,同时研究助燃剂Si和金刚石粒度等因素对样品物相组成、显微形貌和磨削性能的影响。采用Ti、Si、石墨粉和金刚石磨料作为原料,经冷压成型至生胚,通过Ni-Al辅助在微波场加热诱发Ti-Si-C体系发生自蔓延高温合成(SHS)反应以制备Ti_(3)SiC_(2)基金刚石复合材料。结果表明,高热值Ni-Al合金辅助可以缩短样品的烧结时间,还可以将诱发SHS反应的温度点控制在金刚石石墨化温度以下。在Ar保护气氛下,Ti-Si-C体系发生SHS反应,可生成Ti_(3)SiC_(2)、TiC和Ti5Si3等3种物相。随Si含量升高,Ti_(3)SiC_(2)相先增多后减少,当n(Ti):n(Si):n(C)=3∶1.1∶2时,复合材料的磨削性能最佳,磨耗比最高可达286.53。分析不同原料配比下的试样磨耗比差异的产生机制,认为基体组织中存在微小且分布均匀的气孔结构,在磨削时可产生大区域的平整磨削面,易于发挥金刚石磨料的磨削效果,有利于提升复合材料样品的磨削性能。 展开更多

The interracial reaction layer thickness of joints brazed with conventional active filler metal and active composite filler materials with different volume fraction of Al2O3 particulate was also studied. The experimental results indicated although there were Al2O3 particulates added into active filler metals, the time dependence of interracial layer growth of joints brazed with active composite filler material is t^1/2 as described by Fickian law as the joints brazed with conventional active filler metal. 展开更多

In recent decades, many additives with different characteristics have been applied to strengthen and toughen Al2O3-based ceramic cutting tool materials. Among them, SiC whiskers and SiC nanoparticles showed excellent performance in improving the material properties. While no attempts have been made to add SiC whiskers and SiC nanoparticles together into the ceramic matrix and the synergistically toughening effects of them have not been studied. An Al2O3-SiCw-SiC np advanced ceramic cutting tool material is fabricated by adding both one-dimensional SiC whiskers and zero-dimensional SiC nanoparticles into the Al2O3 matrix with an effective dispersing and mixing process. The composites with 25 vol% SiC whiskers and 25 vol% SiC nanoparticles alone are also investegated for comparison purposes. Results show that the Al2O3-SiCw-SiCnp composite with both 20 vo1% SiC whiskers and 5 vol% SiC nanoparticles additives have much improved mechanical properties. The flexural strength of Al2O3-SiCw-SiCnp is 730+ 95 MPa and fracture toughness is 5.6 ± 0.6 MPa.m1/2. The toughening and strengthening mechanisms of SiC whiskers and nanoparticles are studied when they are added either individually or in combination. It is indicated that when SiC whiskers and nanoparticles are added together, the grains are further refined and homogenized, so that the microstructure and fracture mode ratio is modified. The SiC nanoparticles are found helpful to enhance the toughening effects of the SiC whiskers. The proposed research helps to enrich the types of ceramic cutting tool and is benefit to expand the application range of ceramic cutting tool. 展开更多

Transition metal oxides have been actively exploited for application in lithium ion batteries due to their facile synthesis,high specific capacity,and environmental-friendly.In this paper,Fe3O4@TiO2@C yolk-shell(Y-S)spheres,used as anode material for lithium ion batteries,were successfully fabricated by Stober method.XRD patterns reveal that Fe3O4@TiO2@C Y-S spheres possess a good crystallinity.But the diffraction peaks’intensity of Fe3O4 crystals in the composites is much weaker than that of bare Fe3O4 spheres,indicating that the outer anatase TiO2@C layer can cover up the diffraction peaks of inner Fe3O4 spheres.The yolk-shell structure of Fe3O4@TiO2@C spheres is further characterized by TEM,HAADFSTEM,and EDS mapping.The yolk-shell structure is good for improving the cycling stability of the inner Fe3O4 spheres during lithium ions insertion-extraction processes.When tested at 200 mA/g,the Fe3O4@TiO2@C Y-S spheres can provide a stable discharge capacity of 450 mAh/g over 100 cycles,which is much better than that of bare Fe3O4 spheres and TiO2@C spheres.Furthermore,cyclic voltammetry curves show that the composites have a good cycling stability compared to bare Fe3O4 spheres. 展开更多

It was then compacted expl... Ti1Al2O3 Functionally Gradient Material (FGM) was prepared by an explosive compaction/SHS process. Ten sheets of the compounding powder were laminated and pressed to get a green body of FGM. It was then compacted explosively By burying the explosive compaction body into a stoichiometric Al/TiO2 mixture and igniting the combustion of the stoichiometric Al/TiO2 mixture, the SHS reaction of the explosive compaction body was initiated by the heat released from the combustion of the stoichiometric Al/TiO2 mixture. In this way, Ti/Al2O3 FGM was synthesized. The adiabatic temperatures of each gradient layer were calculated when the preheating temperatures were 298 K and 1173 K, respectively The microstructure, composition and properties of Ti/Al2O3 FGM and the reaction mechanism of each gradient layer were studied. It was found that Ti/Al2O3 FGM prepared by the explosive compaction/SHS process had a high density and a high microhardness. Its structure, composition and properties showed apparent gradient distribution. The structure of the standard stoichiometric ratio gradient layer of FGM was a network structure. Its reaction mode could be described as follows: Al powder melted first, then the molten Al penetrated into the TiO2 zone and reacted with TiO2, and big pores were left in the original positions of Al powder. The reaction of gradient layers with the addition of Al3O3 as diluents was similar to that of the standard stoichiometric ratio gradient layer, so were their structure and composition. However, the reaction of gradient layers with the addition of Ti as diluents was more complex and the composition deviated slightly from the designed one 展开更多

A series of mesoporous Cu-Mn-Al2O3(CMA) materials was synthesized at moderate temperature and their structures were characterized by XRD, N2 physical adsorption and TPR techniques. It was found that using metal complex ion[Cu(NH3) 4^2+-Mn(NH3)6^2+] as raw materials is easier to form good-structure mesoporous Cu-Mn-Al2O3 materials than using its nitrate salt [Cu(NO3)2-Mn(NO3)2]. The TPR tests results indicate that CuO and MnOx were homogeneously dispersed in the mesoporous materials. Their catalytic application to preferential catalytic oxidation of CO in a hydrogen-rich stream was studied. The activity varies in the order of CMA(1:1, molar ratio)〉 CMA(1:2)〉CMA(2:1)〉CMA(CP)〉CMA(1:0)≈CMA(0:1). The CMA(1:0) and CMA(0:1) have lower activity compared to other samples, implying that there existed coordination effect between Cu-Mn in the samples. The selectivity varied in the order of CMA(0:1)≥CMA(1:2)〉CMA(1:1)〉CMA(2:1)〉CMA(1:0) at higher temperature (≥ 120 ℃), indicating that increasing the Cu content enhanced the conversion of H2. The sample CMA(CP) made by coprecipitation method has a lower CO oxidation activity and selectivity than its counter-parts of mesoporous Cu-Mn-Al2O3 materials[CMA(1:2)], this attributed to the lower surface area of the former and poor interaction of CuO with MnOx. 展开更多

Paraffin/γ-Al2O3 composites as phase change energy storage materials were prepared by absorbing paraffin in porous network of γ-Al2O3.In the composite materials,paraffin was used as a phase change material(PCM)for thermal energy storage,and γ-Al2O3 acted as supporting materials.Characterizations were conducted to evaluate the energy storage performance of the composites,and differential scanning calorimeter results showed that the PCM-3 composite has melting latent heat of 112.9 kJ/kg with a melting temperature of 62.9 ℃.Due to strong capillary force and surface tension between paraffin and γ-Al2O3,the leakage of melted paraffin from the composites can be effectively prevented.Therefore,the paraffin/γ-Al2O3 composites have a good thermal stability and can be used repeatedly. 展开更多

为改善Al_(2)O_(3)弥散强化铜的变形性能,通过向弥散强化铜中加入软质相纯铜组元,研究纯铜组元对弥散强化铜烧结坯变形性能的影响。对弥散铜烧结坯进行热压缩变形实验,获得了其不同热变形条件下的真应力应变曲线,建立了基于双曲正弦本... 为改善Al_(2)O_(3)弥散强化铜的变形性能,通过向弥散强化铜中加入软质相纯铜组元,研究纯铜组元对弥散强化铜烧结坯变形性能的影响。对弥散铜烧结坯进行热压缩变形实验,获得了其不同热变形条件下的真应力应变曲线,建立了基于双曲正弦本构关系Arrhenius流变应力模型的本构方程,并计算获得热激活能值Q与应变速率敏感系数值m;对热挤压试样,进行室温性能检测和微观组织表征。结果表明:加入纯铜组元后,弥散铜烧结坯应力应变曲线峰值应力下降,曲线走势波动减弱,变形试样缺陷减少,热激活能Q降低,变形难度下降。应变速率较低时,纯铜组元的加入使得m值增加,弥散强化铜的塑性变好;应变速率较高时,纯铜组元的加入加剧基体软硬相不协调变形,m值降低,塑性变差。纯铜组元的加入使热挤压弥散铜的强化相浓度降低,硬度下降,导电率提升,晶粒变大。 展开更多

A temperature stable Li2Zn0.95(SrxCa1-x)0.05Ti3O8(0≤x≤1)ceramics were fabricated using a conventional solid-state route sintered at 1100℃for 4 h.The XRD results indicate that the main phase Li2ZnTi3O8 and secondary phase including SrxCa1-xTiO3(0≤x≤1)solid solution and TiO2 co-exist in composite and form a stable composite system when the(CaxSr1-x)(0≤x≤1)substitutes for Zn of Li2ZnTi3O8 ceramic.As x is increased from 0 to 1,the relative permittivity(εr)increases from 26.65 to 27.12,and the quality factor(Q×f)increases from 63300 to 66600 GHz.With the increased of x,the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(τf)increases from 0.27 to 8.23 ppm/℃,and then decreases to 3.51 ppm/℃.On the whole,the Li2Zn0.95(SrxCa1-x)0.05Ti3O8(0≤x≤1)ceramics show excellent comprehensive properties of middleεr=25-27,higher Q×f≥60000 GHz andτf≤±8.5 ppm/℃. 展开更多

Cu_(2)O是锂离子电池(LIB)低成本、高容量的负极材料之一,但面临结构不稳定、容量保持率低的挑战.通过简单的溶剂热和湿化学法制备了具有三明治结构的Cu_(2)O@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x).凭借其优点,Cu_(2)O@Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)复合材料在2 A·g-1的电流密度下循环400圈后仍保持416.8 mA·h·g-1的容量.与纯Cu_(2)O相比,这种复合材料的电化学性能得到了提升,这得益于少层Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)的优异导电性和三明治结构对离子传输的促进作用. 展开更多

In this study, the aging of the Al2O3 dielectric material was studied by the Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), X-ray Photoelectron spectrum (XPS) and Auger electron spectrum (AES) methods. The results showerd that the performance of the dielectric does not descend after an 1000 h aging experiment. Therefore the thin dielectric layers of α-Al2O3 porcelain with a purity above 99% can sustain a long time action of DBD plasma and form gas ionization discharges steadily. 展开更多

To improve the cyclic stability at high temperature and thermal stability, the spherical Al2O3-modified Li(Ni0.5Co0.2Mn0.3)O2 was synthesized by a modified co-precipitation method, and the physical and electrochemical properties were studied. The TEM images showed that Li(Ni0.5Co0.2Mn0.3)O2 was modified successfully with nano-Al2O3. The discharge capacity retention of Al2O3-modified Li(Ni0.5Co0.2Mn0.3)O2 maintained about 99% after 200 cycles at high temperature(55 ℃), while that of the bare one was only 86%. Also, unlike bare Li(Ni0.5Co0.2Mn0.3)O2, the Al2O3-modified material cathode exhibited good thermal stability. 展开更多
