BACKGROUND Congenital factor VII deficiency(FVIID)is a rare autosomal recessive genetic disorder.The clinical manifestations of this deficiency vary greatly.Predicting the risk of bleeding during and after childbirth ...BACKGROUND Congenital factor VII deficiency(FVIID)is a rare autosomal recessive genetic disorder.The clinical manifestations of this deficiency vary greatly.Predicting the risk of bleeding during and after childbirth of pregnant women with congenital FVIID is difficult.Recombinant factor VIIa is the most common replacement therapy for FVIID.However,no unified diagnosis and treatment plan for pregnant women with congenital FVIID has been established.CASE SUMMARY We report the clinical history of a pregnant woman who was considered to have congenital FVIID.Recombinant factor VIIa was prophylactically administered to the pregnant woman at the time of cervical fully opening.She successfully delivered a live infant without any complications,such as postpartum hemorrhage,neonatal abnormalities,and so on.CONCLUSION Prophylaxis of recombinant factor VIIa during delivery can effectively reduce the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage among pregnant women with congenital FVIID associated with a high risk of bleeding.展开更多

We studied how it can affect liver enzymes and hepatocytes in this group of patients. We took all these naturalplants and bee products in the optimal dose required by the body and prepared a paste called Herbal, so that everyday people couldeat comfortably as a food supplement, as well as see the therapeutic and prophylactic results. HERBAL paste for liver ingredients:flaxseed, ginger, seed of thistle, powder of yellow ginger, black cumin, and honey. Benefits: Herbal paste prepared based onwell-tested recipes improves the function of the liver and gallbladder. As a hepatoprotector, it affects the recovery of liver cells inliver diseases (hepatitis and cirrhosis), spleen disease, bile ductinfections, gallstones in gallbladders, inflammatory bowel disease,colitis, cholecystitis. It helps to remove toxic substances while taking medicine (antibiotics, chemotherapy, painkillers, etc.). Sideeffects: Individual sensitiveness to the contents of the product. Objective:To examine the differences in effectiveness and side effects between pyrimethamine-based and non-pyrimethamine-based regimens for toxoplasma encephalitis since the availability of pyrimethamine in Indonesia ...Objective:To examine the differences in effectiveness and side effects between pyrimethamine-based and non-pyrimethamine-based regimens for toxoplasma encephalitis since the availability of pyrimethamine in Indonesia is currently limited due to its withdrawal from the market.Methods:A systematic review and meta-synthesis study that was carried out by following a protocol guided by the Preffered Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analysis(PRISMA).Effectiveness measures included clinical improvement,mortality,and radiological improvement.We evaluated selected articles narratively because of the limitations of homogeneity.The risk of bias in RCTs was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias tool for RCT(ROB 2.0)and cohort studies were assessed using the Risk of Bias In Non-Randomized Studies of Interventions(ROBINS-1)tool.Research quality was assessed using the GradePro software.Results:We included two retrospective cohort studies and one RCT.Narrative outcome assessment in these three studies did not show significant difference in effectiveness between pyrimethamine-based and non-pyrimethamine-based regimens for toxoplasma encephalitis treatment.However,drug side effects were consistently higher in the pyrimethamine-based regimen.Conclusions:This study has a high risk of bias.The quality of the research also has a low recommendation value.However,the results may be considered for application if a standard regimen is not available.展开更多
