To improve the anti-jamming and interference mitigation ability of the UAV-aided communication systems, this paper investigates the channel selection optimization problem in face of both internal mutual interference and external malicious jamming. A cooperative anti-jamming and interference mitigation method based on local altruistic is proposed to optimize UAVs’ channel selection. Specifically, a Stackelberg game is modeled to formulate the confrontation relationship between UAVs and the jammer. A local altruistic game is modeled with each UAV considering the utilities of both itself and other UAVs. A distributed cooperative anti-jamming and interference mitigation algorithm is proposed to obtain the Stackelberg equilibrium. Finally, the convergence of the proposed algorithm and the impact of the transmission power on the system loss value are analyzed, and the anti-jamming performance of the proposed algorithm can be improved by around 64% compared with the existing algorithms. 展开更多

Emergency decision-making problems usually involve many experts with different professional backgrounds and concerns, leading to non-cooperative behaviors during the consensus-reaching process. Many studies on noncooperative behavior management assumed that the maximumdegree of cooperation of experts is to totally accept the revisions suggested by the moderator, which restricted individuals with altruistic behaviors to make more contributions in the agreement-reaching process. In addition, when grouping a large group into subgroups by clustering methods, existing studies were based on the similarity of evaluation values or trust relationships among experts separately but did not consider them simultaneously. In this study,we introduce a clustering method considering the similarity of evaluation values and the trust relations of experts and then develop a consensusmodel taking into account the altruistic behaviors of experts.First,we cluster experts into subgroups by a constrained Kmeans clustering algorithm according to the opinion similarity and trust relationship of experts. Then,we calculate the weights of experts and clusters based on the centrality degrees of experts.Next,to enhance the quality of consensus reaching,we identify three kinds of non-cooperative behaviors and propose corresponding feedback mechanisms relying on the altruistic behaviors of experts.A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed method in emergency decision-making.The study finds that integrating altruistic behavior analysis in group decision-making can safeguard the interests of experts and ensure the integrity of decision-making information. 展开更多

This study analyzes the ways in which social enterprises contribute to society’s goals. In the new era of human development, many social problems cannot be resolved without the participation of social enterprises(SEs).The study on these enterprises is of great significance for theoretical research and practical observation. In a modern market economy,SEs have pro-social market vitality and compatibility with the market economy;their action gives a glimpse into the truth of human development. As can be seen from the socio-economic reality, numerous entrepreneurs nurture a desire to run SEs at a certain stage of their career development. The tendency of some entrepreneurs to run SEs is of great significance for this study.Social enterprises are hybrid enterprises as opposed to for-profit enterprises and SEs must address complex problems through organizational and institutional innovations.State owned enterprises(SOEs)and SEs share many topics of research and have much to learn from each other, and a key question for SOE reform is what makes SOEs efficient quasi-social enterprises. Both SOEs and SEs assume a social mandate, and their fulfillment of social responsibilities is underpinned by their economic efficiency(market competitiveness). The theoretical rationale and institutional mechanism of SEs-not least their innovation practice and formation of rules-stem from the relationship and coordination between economic and social exchanges under market-based conditions.Social enterprises focus on altruistic social exchange but need to be supported by a certain economic exchange to finance their operations. The biggest social problem for China is its failure to balance economic and social exchanges,as well as the method of reward.Research on SEs should promote the understanding of these questions and the quest for their solutions.Social enterprises may inspire more enterprises to pursue pro-social innovation and development. 展开更多

The significant effect of social preference on strategic behavior has been convinced by recent research. Along this stream of research, we study firms’ altruistic incentives in supply chains since the selfish rationality can’t deal with economic behaviors. We show that the performance of the supply chain in consideration of altruism is between those of scenarios under decentralization and under integration. We further shows that a manufacturer, as a leader, should find an egoistic retailer, while a retailer, as a follower, should find a manufacturer with altruistic liability, to form a good chain. 展开更多

We propose pro-social control strategies for connected automated vehicles(CAVs)to mitigate jamming waves in mixed-autonomy multi-lane traffic, resulting from car-following dynamics of human-driven vehicles(HDVs).Different from existing studies, which focus mostly on ego vehicle objectives to control CAVs in an individualistic manner,we devise a pro-social control algorithm. The latter takes into account the objectives(i.e.,driving comfort and traffic efficiency)of both the ego vehicle and surrounding HDVs to improve smoothness of the entire observable traffic.Under a model predictive control(MPC)framework that uses acceleration and lane change sequences of CAVs as optimization variables, the problem of individualistic, altruistic, and pro-social control is formulated as a non-convex mixed-integer nonlinear program(MINLP)and relaxed to a convex quadratic program through converting the piece-wise-linear constraints due to the optimal velocity with relative velocity(OVRV)car-following model into linear constraints by introducing slack variables.Low-fidelity simulations using the OVRV model and high-fidelity simulations using PTV VISSIM simulator show that pro-social and altruistic control can provide significant performance gains over individualistic driving in terms of efficiency and comfort on both single-and multi-lane roads. 展开更多

Complex social insect species exhibit task specialization mediated by morphological and behavior-al traits. However, evidence of such traits is scarce for other social arthropods. We investigated whether the social pseudoscorpion Paratemnoides nidificator exhibits morphologically and behav-iorally specialized individuals in prey capture. We measured body and chela sizes of adult pseudo-scorpions and analyzed predation processes.Larger individuals spent more time moving through the colony and foraging than smaller pseudoscorpions.Individuals that captured prey had increased body and absolute chelae sizes.Although larger individuals had relatively small chelae size, they showed a higher probability of prey capture.Larger individuals manipulated prey often, although they fed less than smaller pseudoscorpions.Individuals that initiated captures fed more frequently and for more time than the others.Natural selection might be favoring individuals speci-alized in foraging and colony protection, allowing smaller and less efficient adults to avoid contact with dangerous prey.To our knowledge, there is incipient information regarding specialized indi-viduals in arachnids, and our results might indicate the emergence of a morphologically special-ized group in this species. 展开更多
