Conventional seismic exploration method based on post-stack data usually fails to identify the distribution of fractured and caved carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin,so the rich pre-stack information should be applied to the prediction of carbonate reservoirs.Amplitude-preserved seismic data processing is the foundation. In this paper, according to the feature of desert seismic data (including weak reflection, fast attenuation of high frequency components, strong coherent noises, low S/N and resolution),a set of amplitude-preserved processing techniques is applied and a reasonable processing flow is formed to obtain the high quality data. After implementing a set of pre-stack amplitude-preserved processing,we test and define the kernel parameters of amplitude-preserved Kirchhoff PSTM (pre-stack time migration) and subsequent gathers processing,in order to obtain the amplitude-preserved gathers used to the isotropic pre-stack inversion for the identification of caved reservoirs. The AVO characteristics of obtained gathers fit well with the synthetic gathers from logging data, and it proves that the processing above is amplitudepreserved. The azimuthal processing techniques, including azimuth division and binning enlargement, are implemented for amplitude-preserved azimuthal gathers with the uniform fold. They can be used in the anisotropic inversion to detect effective fractures. The processing techniques and flows are applied to the field seismic data, and are proved available for providing the amplitude-preserved gathers for carbonate reservoir prediction in the Tarim Basin. 展开更多

Gaussian beam migration (GBM) is an effec- tive and robust depth seismic imaging method, which overcomes the disadvantage of Kirchhoff migration in imaging multiple arrivals and has no steep-dip limitation of one-way wave equation migration. However, its imaging quality depends on the initial beam parameters, which can make the beam width increase and wave-front spread with the propagation of the central ray, resulting in poor migration accuracy at depth, especially for exploration areas with complex geological structures. To address this problem, we present an adaptive focused beam method for shot-domain prestack depth migration. Using the infor- mation of the input smooth velocity field, we first derive an adaptive focused parameter, which makes a seismic beam focused along the whole central ray to enhance the wave- field construction accuracy in both the shallow and deep regions. Then we introduce this parameter into the GBM, which not only improves imaging quality of deep reflectors but also makes the shallow small-scale geological struc- tures well-defined. As well, using the amplitude-preserved extrapolation operator and deconvolution imaging condi- tion, the concept of amplitude-preserved imaging has been included in our method. Typical numerical examples and the field data processing results demonstrate the validity and adaptability of our method. 展开更多

The migration of multi-wave seismic data is aimed at obtaining the P- and S-wave imaging results of the amplitude preserving. But the P- and S-wave stretching effect produced by the reverse time migration of the elastic wave equation will not only reduce the vertical resolution of the migration results and the amplitude preserving of the large reflection angle. In this paper, the reverse time migration technique of amplitude preserving vector wave-field separating is used. Based on the analysis of the stretch mechanism and the influencing factors of stretch magnitude, the paper gave the stretch correcting factors. Then, realize the stretch correction method at the time that after the reverse extrapolation and before the imaging by solving the problem which is how to calculate the P-wave and Ps-wave propagation directions of imaging points at different times. The stretch correction method can improve the vertical resolution and amplitude fidelity of the imaging results and provide high fidelity input data for seismic data interpretation and inversion. 展开更多

The major storage space types in the carbonate reservoir in the Ordovician in the TZ45 area are secondary dissolution caves. For the prediction of caved carbonate reservoir,post-stack methods are commonly used in the oilfield at present since pre-stack inversion is always limited by poor seismic data quality and insufficient logging data.In this paper, based on amplitude preserved seismic data processing and rock-physics analysis,pre-stack inversion is employed to predict the caved carbonate reservoir in TZ45 area by seriously controlling the quality of inversion procedures. These procedures mainly include angle-gather conversion, partial stack, wavelet estimation,low-frequency model building and inversion residual analysis. The amplitude-preserved data processing method can achieve high quality data based on the principle that they are very consistent with the synthetics.Besides, the foundation of pre-stack inversion and reservoir prediction criterion can be established by the connection between reservoir property and seismic reflection through rock-physics analysis. Finally, the inversion result is consistent with drilling wells in most cases. It is concluded that integrated with amplitude-preserved processing and rock-physics,pre-stack inversion can be effectively applied in the caved carbonate reservoir prediction. 展开更多

In China, most oil fields are continental sedimentation with strong heterogeneity, which on one side makes the reservoir prospecting and development more difficult, but on the other side provides more space for searching residual oil in matured fields. Time-lapse seismic reservoir monitoring technique is one of most important techniques to define residual oil distribution. According to the demand for and development of time-lapse seismic reservoir monitoring in China, purposeless repeated acquisition time-lapse seismic data processing was studied. The four key steps in purposeless repeated acquisition time-lapse seismic data processing, including amplitude-preserved processing with relative consistency, rebinning, match filtering and difference calculation, were analyzed by combining theory and real seismic data processing. Meanwhile, quality control during real time-lapse seismic processing was emphasized. 展开更多
