A new species of Anastatus(Hymenoptera:Eulpelmidae) from China,parasitizing eggs of Lycorma delicatula(Homoptera:Fulgoridae)

A new species of Anastatus Motschulsky, 1859 （Hymenoptera： Eupelmidae）, A. orientalis Yang ＆ Choi, sp. nov. is described from China. It is a solitary endo-parasitoid in egg of the spotted lanternfly, Lycorma delicatula （White） （Homoptera： Fulgoridae）, which causes damages to many ornamental and fruit trees in China. The brief biology of the new parasitoid is also mentioned. The new species has high potential as a biocontrol agent for suppression of the pest because of its parasitism rates of egg masses 30.4% and of eggs 40.2% respectively with sex ratio of female to male 1.9：1.0, as well as the relative easiness for mass rearing. The detailed feature characters and photos of the new species are supplied. Meanwhile, a key to distinguish the present new species from the other close two （A. japonicus and A. bifasciatus） in the genus is provided. Type specimens are deposited in the Insect Museum, Chinese Academy of Forestry, Beijing, China.

悬铃木星天牛卵寄生蜂分布情况调查初报

调查发现,悬铃木[Platanus×acerifolia（Aiton）Willd.]星天牛[Anoplophora chinensis（F？rster）]的卵可被2种寄生蜂寄生,分别为长尾啮小蜂（Aprostocetus sp.）和平腹小蜂（Anastatus sp.）。经过对本市46条道路的悬铃木上发生的星天牛卵被寄生情况抽样调查,共发现有寄生蜂发生的道路11条,道路寄生蜂发生率为23.9%;共调查悬铃木株数738株,有寄生蜂发生的总株数为41株,寄生株率为5.6%;单株被寄生的卵数最多为4粒。单条道路寄生蜂总量与该条道路上天牛的株危害率呈显著相关,与该条道路上发生的天牛总数量呈极显著相关。
