This paper reported the identification of self-incompatibility genotypes of seven Chinese and two Japanese sand pear cultivars using PCR-RFLP analysis and S-RNase sequencing. The Sgenotypes of these cultivars were determined as follows: Huali 1 S1S3, Shounan S1S3, Xizilti S1S4, Qingxiang S3S7, Sanhua S2S7, Huangmi (Imamuranatsu) S1S6, Huali 2 S3S4, Baozhuli S7S33, Cangxixueli S5S15. Chinese cherry (Prunus pseudocerasus L.) is an allotetraploid species and exhibits natural self-compatibility.However,the full-length cDNA sequences,functional analysis and the transcripts of S-RNase alleles in Chin...Chinese cherry (Prunus pseudocerasus L.) is an allotetraploid species and exhibits natural self-compatibility.However,the full-length cDNA sequences,functional analysis and the transcripts of S-RNase alleles in Chinese cherry cultivars are not known.In the two cultivars Taixiaohongying and Laiyang Short Cherry with S1S2S3S4 genotypes,two S-RNases were transcribed in Northern blotting,and the two full-length cDNAs of S-RNase were cloned and analyzed.As the result,the transcribed S-RNases were S1-RNase and S2-RNase.The two complete cDNA sequences of S1-RNase and S2-RNase were registered as EU073938 and EU073939,respectively,and had characteristic structure of rosaceous S-RNases based on their sequences indicating that they had normal function for S-RNase in the style.The S3-RNase and S4-RNase were not transcribed in the style and were nonfunctional for S-RNase,so S3m and S4m could be used to represent the nonfunctional S3-RNase and S4-RNase.The phylogenetic analysis implied that the S-RNases of Prunus,including Chinese cherry,had lower intra-specific similarity and diverged earlier than the divergence of species in Prunus.展开更多

It can be concluded that C-S-H is composed with some fundamental spherical globule, the fundamental globules agglomerate into bigger ones, moreover the bigger ones agglomerate into even bigger one. Although the unscheduled downtime(USDT) issues of the equipment are very complex, the self-organized criticality(SOC) is ...How to reduce downtime and improve availability of the complex equipment is very important. Although the unscheduled downtime(USDT) issues of the equipment are very complex, the self-organized criticality(SOC) is the right theory to study complex systems evolution and opens up a new window to the investigation of disasters, such as the sudden failure of the equipment. Firstly,SOC theory and its validation method are introduced. Then an SOC validation method for USDT of the equipment is proposed based on the above theory. Case study is done on bottleneck equipment in a factory and corresponding data pre-process work is done. The rescaled-range(R/S) analysis method is used to calculate the Hurst exponent of USDT time-series data in order to determine the long-range correlation of USDT data on time scale;at the same time the spatial power-law characteristic of USDT time series data is studied. The result shows that the characteristics of SOC are revealed in USDT data of the equipment according to the criterion of SOC. In addition, based on the characteristics of SOC,the overall framework of the prediction method for major sudden failure of the equipment is proposed based on SOC.展开更多
