To overcome the limitations of traditional experimental“trial and error”methods in lubricant additive design,a new molecular design method based on molecular structure parameters is established here.The molecular mechanism of the antioxidant reaction of hindered phenol,diphenylamine,and alkyl sulfide are studied via molecular simulations.Calculation results show that the strong electron-donating ability and high hydrogen-donating activity of the antioxidant molecule and the low hydrogen-abstracting activity of free radicals formed after dehydrogenation are the internal molecular causes of the shielding of phenol and diphenylamine from scavenging peroxy free radicals,and the strong electron-donating ability is the internal molecular cause of the high activity of thioether in decomposing alkyl hydrogen peroxide.Based on this antioxidant molecular mechanism,a molecular design rule of antioxidant is proposed,namely“high EHOMO,large Q(S),low bond dissociation energy BDE(O—H)and BDE(N—H)”.Two new antioxidants,PAS-I and PAS-II,are designed and prepared by chemical bonding of hindered phenol,diphenylamine,and sulfur atoms.Experimental results show that these antioxidants both have excellent antioxidant effects in lubricating oil,and that PAS-II is the superior antioxidant,consistent with theoretical predictions. 展开更多

This study investigated the effect of antioxidants on the grinding efficiency,magnetic powder characteristics,microstructure,and magnetic properties of 2:17 type SmCo permanent magnet materials.The results show that adding antioxidants helps improve the dispersion among magnetic powders,leading to a 33.3%decrease in jet milling time and a 15.8%increase in magnet powder production yield.Additionally,adding antioxidants enhances the oxidation resistance of the magnetic powders.After being stored in a constant temperature air environment at 25C for 48 h,the O content in the powder decreased by 33%compared to samples without antioxidants.While in the magnet body,the O content decreased from 0.21 wt.%to 0.14 wt.%,which helps increase the effective Sm content and domain wall pinning uniformity in the magnet.Excellent magnetic properties were obtained in the magnet with added antioxidants:B_(r)=11.6 kGs,SF=79.6%,H_(cj)=16.8 kOe,and(BH)_(max)=32.5 MGOe. 展开更多

Mature wheat kernels contain three main parts:endosperm,bran,and germ.Flour milling results in multiple streams that are chemically different;however,the distribution of antioxidants and phenolic compounds has not been well documented in terms of conventional milling by-product streams.In this study,multiple analytical methods were used to investigate antioxidant activity and phenolic compound compositions of hard red winter wheat(whole ground wheat),the parts of a wheat kernel(bran,flour,germ),and wheat by-product streams(mill feed,red dog,shorts)for the first time.For each mill stream,phenolic compounds(total,flavonoid,and anthocyanin contents)were determined and antioxidant activities were evaluated with 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH)radical-scavenging activity,ferric reducing/antioxidant power(FRAP),and total antioxidant capacity assays.Significant differences(P<0.05)were observed in phenolic concentrations among fractions of bran,flour,and germ milled from the same kernels and noted that germ accounts for the majority of antioxidant properties,whereas bran contains a substantial portion of phenolic compounds and anthocyanins.Mill feed was high in phenolic content(5.29 mg FAE/g),total antioxidant capacity(866 mg/g),and antioxidant activity(up to 75% DPPH inhibition and 20.26μmol FeSO_(4)/g).The comprehensive information on distribution of antioxidants and phenolic compounds provides insights for future human consumption of commonly produced co-products from flour milling,and for selecting and using different milling fractions to make foods with improved nutritional properties. 展开更多

Introduction: Transcranial Doppler is a simple, non-invasive and inexpensive examination which allows the assessment of cerebral perfusion. In countries with limited resources, which do not have a means of monitoring intracranial pressure, this examination offers hope of survival for patients with traumatic brain injury. This study was designed to investigate the incidence of early cerebral circulation abnormalities after traumatic brain injury using transcranial Doppler (TCD). Methodology: A descriptive and analytical study was conducted over one year, including patients with traumatic brain injury and an initial Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of less than 15. Non-inclusion criteria: Stroke, brain tumor, cerebral abscess. Exclusion criteria: Inadequate insonation window. Results: Out of 854 traumatic brain injury patients admitted to the emergency department, 112 were included in the study. The average age was 30.14 years, with a sex ratio of 4.1. Initially, 83.5% had moderate traumatic brain injury, and 12.1% had severe traumatic brain injury. Brain CT scans were performed in 95.7% of the patients. Edematous-hemorrhagic contusion was observed in 95% of the patients. On initial TCD, the pulsatility index in the middle cerebral artery was greater than 1.3 in 49.4% of the patients. Diastolic velocity was less than 20 cm/s in 46.4% of cases, and mean velocity was greater than 150 cm/s in 8.7% of cases. In this group, low diastolic velocity indicated cerebral hypoperfusion suggestive of intracranial hypertension. When the pulsatility index was greater than 1.9, no patient had a normal diastolic velocity. Among patients with severe traumatic brain injury, 61.5% had an abnormal pulsatility index compared to 42.3% of patients with moderate traumatic brain injury. Conclusion: TCD is a simple tool for analyzing intracerebral hemodynamics. 展开更多

目的探讨经颅射绝超声多普勒系统(TCD)监测颅内血流动力学对脑血管病患者颈动脉狭窄严重程度和神经功能恶化风险的评估价值。方法前瞻性纳入122例脑血管病患者为病例组,根据患者颈动脉狭窄程度分为轻度狭窄组(n=43)、中度狭窄组(n=47)... 目的探讨经颅射绝超声多普勒系统(TCD)监测颅内血流动力学对脑血管病患者颈动脉狭窄严重程度和神经功能恶化风险的评估价值。方法前瞻性纳入122例脑血管病患者为病例组,根据患者颈动脉狭窄程度分为轻度狭窄组(n=43)、中度狭窄组(n=47)、重度狭窄组(n=32),并纳入同期健康体检者60例为对照组,比较4组颅内血流动力学指标,并采用Pearson分析其与患者颈动脉狭窄严重程度的相关性;根据患者神经功能恶化程度分为神经功能恶化组(n=55)和神经功能未恶化组(n=67),采用单因素和多因素Logistic回归分析明确影响患者发生神经功能恶化的高危因素,并采用受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线进一步分析独立危险因素对神经功能恶化的诊断效能。结果轻、中、重度狭窄组舒张期峰值血流速度(EDV)、收缩期峰值血流速度(PSV)及平均血流速度(MV)水平均较对照组偏低,搏动指数(PI)和阻力指数(RI)较对照组偏高,有统计学差异(P<0.05);重度狭窄组PSV、MV、EDV水平较轻、中度狭窄组显著偏低,PI及RI水平显著偏高(P<0.05)。Pearson相关性分析结果显示,PSV、EDV及MV与颈动脉狭窄程度呈显著正相关(r=0.541,0.763,0.822,均P<0.05),PI及RI与颈动脉狭窄程度呈显著负相关(r=-0.133,-0.375,均P<0.05)。神经功能恶化组平均年龄、入院GCS评分、ICU停留时间及住院时长等临床指标均明显高于神经功能未恶化组(P<0.05);两组大脑中动脉血流动力学参数对比,神经功能恶化组收缩期血流速度(FVs)、PI显著高于神经功能未恶化组,FVd、平均流速(FVm)明显低于神经功能未恶化组(P<0.05)。Logistic回归分析结果显示,ICU停留时间、住院时间、FVs、舒张期血流速度(FVd)、PI均是影响脑血管病患者神经功能恶化的独立危险因素(P<0.05)。ROC曲线分析结果显示,FVs、FVd、FVm及PI对预测脑血管病患者发生神经功能的ROC曲线下面积(AUC)分别为0.643、0.834、0.336、0.866(均P<0.05)。诊断效能:PI>FVd>FVs>FVm。结论应用TCD对脑血管病患者颅内血流动力学参数进行监测可辅助临床评估患者的颈动脉狭窄程度,对此类患者发生神经功能病变具有较高的预测价值。 展开更多

植物受到逆境刺激后,钙离子结合蛋白能够感知钙信号并将其解码,激活下游靶蛋白,从而引发胁迫应答反应,钙调蛋白激酶在其中发挥了重要作用。长叶红砂为东阿拉善-西鄂尔多斯特有的珍稀泌盐植物,对干旱、盐碱等环境胁迫具有极强的适应性。... 植物受到逆境刺激后,钙离子结合蛋白能够感知钙信号并将其解码,激活下游靶蛋白,从而引发胁迫应答反应,钙调蛋白激酶在其中发挥了重要作用。长叶红砂为东阿拉善-西鄂尔多斯特有的珍稀泌盐植物,对干旱、盐碱等环境胁迫具有极强的适应性。本研究基于转录组数据,克隆了长叶红砂钙调蛋白激酶Rt CDPK16的开放阅读框(open reading frame,ORF),氨基酸序列比对和进化分析显示,其与拟南芥的同源性为78.46%,与葡萄Vv CDPK16同源性最高(80.97%)。基因表达特性分析显示,Rt CDPK16在根茎叶中均表达,且在根中表达量最高,同时其表达水平可被氯化钠(NaCl)/聚乙二醇(polyethylene glycol,PEG)/冷胁迫(cold stress,cold)/脱落酸(abscisic acid,ABA)等多种环境胁迫和氯化钙(calcium chloride,CaCl_(2))显著诱导。构建植物表达载体并转化拟南芥,对野生型拟南芥(WT)和过表达拟南芥(OE)株系进行干旱、盐和脱落酸胁迫,发现胁迫处理下OE株系的根长、鲜重和叶绿素含量等表型指标均显著高于WT,表明Rt CDPK16的超表达使转基因株系获得了更强的胁迫耐受性;生理生化指标检测显示,胁迫处理下各株系中超氧化物歧化酶(superoxide dismutase,SOD)、过氧化物酶(peroxidase,POD)和过氧化氢酶(catalase,CAT)等抗氧化酶活性及脯氨酸(proline,Pro)、可溶性糖(soluble sugar,SS)等渗透调节物质的含量均被显著诱导,且超表达株系显著高于WT,而过氧化氢(hydrogen peroxide,H_(2)O_(2))/超氧阴离子(superoxide anion,O_(2)^(-))的积累量显著低于WT;实时荧光定量(quantitativereal-time,q RT-PCR)检测发现,胁迫条件下OE株系的相关抗氧化酶基因、ABA合成和信号途径关键元件基因及脯氨酸合成基因均被显著诱导。以上结果表明,Rt CDPK16在拟南芥中的超表达通过调控转基因植物中抗氧化和渗透调节系统相关基因的表达和酶活性,促进转基因植物的渗透平衡和活性氧(reactive oxygen species,ROS)稳态的维持,进而提高转基因植物的胁迫耐受性,这一过程可能是通过依赖于ABA信号的途径实现的。 展开更多

Dual Role of Plant Phenolic Compounds as Antioxidants and Prooxidants

Natural phenolic compounds are secondary metabolites found in a wide range of plants including food crops. As many of them are known to be antioxidants and can prevent several chronic and degenerative diseases in humans, they are a part of a healthy diet. However, these antioxidants can act as prooxidants under high phenolic concentration, high pH, or in the presence of transition metal ions such as Cu<sup>2+</sup> or Fe<sup>3+</sup>, producing reactive oxygen species (ROS) including hydroxyl radicals resulting in oxidative stress and cell toxicity. While this can lead to pathogenesis including the development of various types of cancers, elevated levels of ROS are beneficial to kill malignant cells and foodborne pathogens to improve food safety. Thus, the dual nature of phenolic compounds allows them to act as antioxidants and prooxidants. Similarly, depending on the level of prooxidant activity, ROS can induce either pathogenesis or serve as a potential agent to kill malignant cells and foodborne pathogens. 展开更多

TCD5 Enhances the Photosynthesis Capacity,Increases the Panicle Number and the Yield in Rice

Improvement of photosynthetic efficiency is a major approach to increase crop yield potential.Previously,we cloned a gene encoding the chloroplast-located putative monooxygenase TCD5,which is essential in plastid development under low temperature in rice(Oryza sativa L.).In this study,the effects of TCD5 on the photosynthesis and the yields were investigated in rice.Two sets of genetic materials with three levels of TCD5 expression,including tcd5 mutant or TCD5 RNAi transgenic lines and TCD5 over-expression transgenic lines in Jiahua1 and Nipponbare backgrounds,were used in the field trails of multi-locations and multi-years.TCD5 positively affected the panicle number and the yield at dosage.Compared with the wild-types,the panicle numbers were 12.4%-14.6%less in tcd5 mutant and 8.3%-38.6%less in TCD5 RNAi lines,but 26.2%-61.8%more in TCD5 over-expression lines.The grain yields per plant were 9.1%-18.4%less in tcd5 mutant and 14.3%-56.7%less in TCD5 RNAi lines,but 6.9%-56.5%more in TCD5 over-expression lines.The measurements of net photosynthetic rate indicated that mutation or knock down of TCD5 decreased the net photosynthetic rate by 10.4%and 15.6%,respectively,while increasing it by 8.9%and 8.7%in the TCD5 over-expression lines in Jiahua1 and Nipponbare backgrounds,respectively.Accordingly,the measurements of chlorophyll fluorescence parameters showed that the electron transport rate and quantum yield decreased in tcd5 mutant or TCD5 RNAi lines but increased in TCD5 overexpression lines,both in Jiahua1 and Nipponbare backgrounds.IP-MS screening revealed that TCD5 interacts with 29 chloroplast proteins involved in chlorophyll synthesis,photo-reactions of the photosynthesis,carbon assimilation and metabolism,energy metabolism,redox balance,protein synthesis and transportation.Two TCD5 interacted proteins,D1 and FBA were effective targets for improving photosynthesis.These results suggest a potentially new strategy for increasing rice yield by enhancing photosynthesis. 展开更多

Abiotic stresses,including drought,have been found to affect the growth and medicinal quality of numerous herbs.The proposed study aims to study the effects of different drought regimes on the metabolic profile,growth,ecophysiology,cellular antioxidants,and antioxidant potential of Nigella sativa(Black cumin)leaf.Forty-day-old seedlings of N.sativa were exposed to three regimes of drought(control,moderate and high)for a week.UPLCMS/MS metabolic profile of the leaf reveals the presence of more than a hundred metabolites belonging to anthocyanins,chalcones,dihydro flavonoids,flavonoids,flavanols,flavones,flavonoid carbonoside,isoflavones,etc.Drought was found to alter the contents of identified metabolites.Drought stress-induced oxidative stress and increased production of hydrogen peroxide and superoxide anions.Physiological changes,activities of antioxidant enzymes,contents of antioxidants,and proline were significantly high under drought to protect against the low water regimes.Furthermore,stressed leaf extract had higher antioxidant potential.Thus,N.sativa leaf bears multiple metabolic pathways and can tolerate a higher degree of drought or osmotic stress. 展开更多

目的:探讨托莫西汀联合感觉统合训练治疗注意缺陷多动障碍(ADHD)患儿效果及对经颅多普勒超声检查(TCD)参数、动态肌电图的影响。方法:按随机数字表法将2021年9月至2022年9月我院收治的60例ADHD患儿分为两组,各30例。对照组采用托莫西汀... 目的:探讨托莫西汀联合感觉统合训练治疗注意缺陷多动障碍(ADHD)患儿效果及对经颅多普勒超声检查(TCD)参数、动态肌电图的影响。方法:按随机数字表法将2021年9月至2022年9月我院收治的60例ADHD患儿分为两组,各30例。对照组采用托莫西汀治疗,研究组在对照组基础上加用感觉统合训练治疗,对比两组临床疗效、TCD参数[大脑基底动脉(BA)、左侧中动脉(MCA-L)、左侧前动脉(ACA-L)、左侧后动脉(PCA-L)]、儿童感觉统合能力发展评定量表评分、中文版注意缺陷多动障碍评定量表-父母版(SNAP-IV)评分和不良反应。结果:研究组治疗后总有效率高于对照组(P<0.05);两组治疗后BA对比,无统计学差异(P>0.05);研究组治疗后MCA-L、ACA-L、PCA-L高于对照组(P<0.05);研究组治疗后儿童感觉统合能力发展评定量表评分高于对照组(P<0.05);研究组治疗后SNAP-IV评分低于对照组(P<0.05);两组治疗期间均无严重不良反应发生。结论:托莫西汀联合感觉统合训练可有效提升ADHD患儿的注意力和感觉统合能力,促进大脑动脉局部灌注的恢复,利于纠正患儿行为抑制缺陷,值得在临床上推广和应用。 展开更多

【目的】研究发酵中药和油莎豆复合物对湖羊生长性能、血清抗氧化及免疫指标的影响,为新型饲料添加剂的开发提供依据。【方法】选取体重相近、健康状况良好的育肥湖羊40只,随机分为2组:对照组和试验组,每组20只。对照组湖羊饲喂基础饲粮... 【目的】研究发酵中药和油莎豆复合物对湖羊生长性能、血清抗氧化及免疫指标的影响,为新型饲料添加剂的开发提供依据。【方法】选取体重相近、健康状况良好的育肥湖羊40只,随机分为2组:对照组和试验组,每组20只。对照组湖羊饲喂基础饲粮,试验组湖羊在基础饲粮中添加2%复合发酵物,预试期7 d,正试期42 d,在正试期第0、42天分别称重,计算平均日增重;记录日采食量,计算料重比;在试验第1、21和42天颈静脉采血并分离血清,测定湖羊血清中抗氧化指标和免疫指标。【结果】试验组湖羊的终末体重、平均日增重及平均日采食量均显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。与对照组相比,在试验第21天,试验组湖羊血清中过氧化氢酶(CAT)、总抗氧化能力(T-AOC)活性及免疫球蛋白G(IgG)、γ干扰素(INF-γ)含量分别提高了2.75%、3.46%、7.28%和4.55%(P<0.05),丙二醛(MDA)含量降低了12.72%(P<0.05);在试验第42天,CAT、T-AOC活性及IgG、INF-γ含量分别提高了3.17%、3.67%、9.77%和11.91%(P<0.05),MDA含量降低了15.10%(P<0.05)。【结论】在本试验条件下,饲粮中添加2%发酵中药和油莎豆复合物能有效改善湖羊的生长性能,提高抗氧化和免疫机能,可作为一种新型饲料添加剂应用到畜牧生产中。 展开更多

为探究不同品种鲜食糯玉米采后贮藏品质及抗氧化酶活性变化规律,选用京科糯2000、京科糯768以及农科糯336为材料,研究其在20℃常温贮藏条件下感官品质、硬度、失重率、色泽、V_(C)、可溶性固形物、糖类物质、丙二醛含量和抗氧化酶活性... 为探究不同品种鲜食糯玉米采后贮藏品质及抗氧化酶活性变化规律,选用京科糯2000、京科糯768以及农科糯336为材料,研究其在20℃常温贮藏条件下感官品质、硬度、失重率、色泽、V_(C)、可溶性固形物、糖类物质、丙二醛含量和抗氧化酶活性的变化规律。结果表明,随着贮藏天数的延长,不同品种鲜食糯玉米均出现不同程度地籽粒失水皱缩、风味散失、光泽和甜度下降等现象,京科糯768表面劣变最为严重,其次是农科糯336,京科糯2000籽粒表面劣变程度最轻。三个品种鲜食糯玉米的硬度、L*值、V_(C)、可溶性固形物、可溶性糖含量均下降,失重率、b*值、淀粉和丙二醛含量总体升高。农科糯336中V_(C)、可溶性固形物和可溶性糖含量下降幅度最小,且淀粉和丙二醛含量上升幅度最小,并且可溶性糖含量和过氧化物酶(Peroxidase,POD)活性显著高于京科糯2000与京科糯768(P<0.05),而抗坏血酸过氧化物酶(Ascorbate peroxidase,APX)活性显著高于京科糯768(P<0.05)。综上,农科糯336在贮藏期间具有更好的营养价值和贮藏品质,并且还具有较高的POD活性。京科糯2000在贮藏期间,果实内部葡萄糖、果糖以及L*值的下降幅度和b*值上升幅度均最小,感官品质较好。而京科糯768能更好地维持玉米籽粒硬度值。 展开更多

探究超声波辅助乙醇提取川赤芍总苷,通过单因素和响应面优化提取工艺,采用高效液相色谱(HPLC)法检测总苷组成,并通过体外抗氧化试验评价总苷的抗氧化活性。结果表明:最佳提取工艺为超声功率175 W、超声时间42 min、乙醇浓度70%、液料倍... 探究超声波辅助乙醇提取川赤芍总苷,通过单因素和响应面优化提取工艺,采用高效液相色谱(HPLC)法检测总苷组成,并通过体外抗氧化试验评价总苷的抗氧化活性。结果表明:最佳提取工艺为超声功率175 W、超声时间42 min、乙醇浓度70%、液料倍数30(mL/g),此工艺条件下提取的川赤芍总苷得率为(5.86±0.32)%。HPLC分析总苷共检测到21个特征峰,其中没食子酸0.63 mg/g、氧化芍药苷11.28 mg/g、儿茶素18.64 mg/g、芍药内酯苷5.82 mg/g、芍药苷54.82 mg/g、苯甲酰芍药苷15.74 mg/g、丹皮酚原苷0.98 mg/g,共占总质量的95.35%。总苷清除DPPH·、ABTS+·和·OH-的IC50值分别为0.78、1.13、0.98 mg/mL,总苷的抗氧化活性强弱与浓度呈现较好的正相关。 展开更多

大黄素(emodin,E)是大黄中的主要活性成分,是一种疏水性分子。酪蛋白胶束(micellar casein,MC)是乳中酪蛋白的天然存在形态。该文采用荧光分析法研究了不同果胶(pectin,P)添加量下酪蛋白胶束与大黄素的结合作用,解析了果胶-酪蛋白胶束@... 大黄素(emodin,E)是大黄中的主要活性成分,是一种疏水性分子。酪蛋白胶束(micellar casein,MC)是乳中酪蛋白的天然存在形态。该文采用荧光分析法研究了不同果胶(pectin,P)添加量下酪蛋白胶束与大黄素的结合作用,解析了果胶-酪蛋白胶束@大黄素(P-MC@E)复合物粒径及结构,评价了复合物的DPPH自由基和ABTS阳离子自由基清除活性,并通过模拟胃肠消化实验分析了复合物中大黄素的释放状况。结果显示,P-MC复合体系中,当果胶与酪蛋白胶束比例为0∶10~5∶5时,酪蛋白胶束与大黄素的结合作用均为疏水作用,二者结合常数大于103。随着果胶添加量的增加,P-MC@E复合物粒径逐渐增大,但其红外谱图没有显著变化。另外,复合物的DPPH自由基和ABTS阳离子自由基清除活性较游离大黄素显著提升,且随果胶添加量的增加而显著增大。与P-MC形成复合物后,大黄素的胃肠模拟消化释放率降低。研究结果可为大黄素的负载和递送提供参考依据。 展开更多
