In the Apocalypse,the chiliastic-eschatological meaning has been superimposed on the original literal meaning of dis-velation.A phenomenon,this one,seems to have favored the formation of neuralgic force fields between the end,the beginning,which in some way refer to each other,and precisely dis-velation.If the whole of history seems to be disseminated and sometimes informed by these fields,the Anthropocene temperament certainly does not seem to be an exception.The apocalyptic Anthropocene interstitial spaces are particularly crowded and lively and,among the many voices animating them,those of Serres,Latour,and the posthumanist perspective,to which the one and the other,so to speak,wink,are of particular interest.What the Serresian-Latourian posthuman apocalyptic Anthropocene force-field seems to be reviving is,so to speak,a new recognition of the already-since-ever-been,i.e.the recognition that the human has always been inchoative in and with the world in becoming in relationship,that the post has always been an engine,resistant to repetitiveness,obviousness and habit,that the new is this very recognition,and that the recognition of the already-since-ever-been is precisely action,dynamism,a process of construction(of human in and with the world).

This essay aims to discuss its anti-war theme, and can be divided into three parts: The Attack on Vietnamese Village; The Dinner with the French Family; The Meeting between Willard and Kurtz. Through this essay, readers can have a better understanding of the movie: the movie is not propagating violence, while it has profound reflection on the human nature, life and the war.

Apocalypse and Body Transgression： On Picasso’s Crucifixion （1930）

The article deals with the question of the possibility of a new interpretation of Picasso’s picture entitled Crucifixion, which was created in the context of the art paradigm shift in the 1930s when the master focused his attention to the return to painting as a reference framework of myth and religion. But this return was only a turning point towards a modern understanding of the world and art from other sources. It should be noted that the problem of pictorial turn nowadays has a strong impact on the postmodern theology, which encompasses various cultural traditions, and also quite opposite philosophical attitudes. The article shows, thus, the inner relationship and connection between painting art and the search for transgression in the language that was the idea of Bataille. In the first part of this article, author tries to show the consequences of Bataille’s thinking of transgression; the second part has attempted to articulate the problems of interpretation of Picasso’s canvas Crucifixion; and concluding remarks is an attempt to review the emphasis on relationship with pictorial turn and transformations in the notion of contemporary art concerning the body as a sovereign event of the freedom and sacrifice.

The Vietnam War in the New Century： The Evolution of Apocalypse Now Redux （2001） in Narrative Perspective

Apocalypse Now is a 1979 American epic war film set during the Vietnam War, directed and produced by Francis Ford Coppola. It was originally adapted from the novella Heart of Darkness （1902）, which was written in the colonial era. Apocalypse Now Redux （2001） is a refined version of the 1979 edition. In previous researches, most scholars only focused on either of the two adapted versions in terms of thematic discussion and narrative analysis, which have ignored the significance of the evolution of the film and the changing historical contexts. Accordingly, on the basis of narrative theory and cultural study, the thesis makes a narrative analysis of the evolution of Apocalypse Now Redux （2001）. It indicates that through some newly-inserted narrative elements in Apocalypse Now Redux （2001）, more attention is paid to minority groups, darkness in war and media quagmire, which is related to different historical and political contexts and endeavors to remind the American public of the harsh lesson of Vietnam War in the 20th century. However, efforts to restraint the war seem to be ineffective, which is fully exemplified by Iraq War in 2003

Nay or Nyay 3： Epistemic Utility of Shadow of Ignorance that Obscures Mental Images and Associated States

Survival of organisms requires response to sense inputs and feedback. An intuitive picture or mental image of reality from sense experience is apparently structured from orthogonal and independent sense inputs in association with past memories. Such images are not necessarily visual but may have such qualities. Play of mind with information in mental images processed by molecular actors is guided with rules of reality to assure non-contradictory outcome of actions for successful behaviors （Rogers and Jain 1993）. Such functions have evolved to find food before becoming food, and fight or flight when in doubt. Shadows of ignorance that obscure mental images and associated states also have epistemic utility. Their success depends on learning from trials and errors to compensate for incomplete information and uncertainties with consideration of what could go wrong. Outcomes are also influenced by games played on mind by illusions, mistakes, surprises, ignorance. Loss of time, energy, and opportunity associated with ignored or misinterpreted information threaten survival. Equivocation, cynicism, wild goose chase, and vicious circle of sterile ideas encourage contradictory or inconsistent interpretations that compromise outcomes. Throughout the human history, ignorance of horsemen of apocalypse has unleashed havocs, perpetuated wars, epidemics, wrongful medical treatments, and economic disasters. What used to be crisis of ignorance has now become crisis of unintended consequences of inventions and other forms of knowledge. Ignorance of experts and head of states as horsemen of darkness brings misery to countless innocents. In Nay formalism, knowledge （gyan） is what knows with certainty （either as true or false）. Identifying uncertainties introduces doubt （syad） in what one knows. For finding ones way around lack of relevant evidence （agyan）, wisdom lies in recognition of ignorance and identifies problem to seek solution. Note that these states for propositions are not necessarily related by binary negations.
