The human dietary selenium requirement in China has been estimated by various methods. On the other h...The human dietary selenium requirement in China has been estimated by various methods. The minimum dietary selenium requircment for the prevention of Keshan disease (KD) was found to be around 17 μg/d. On the other hand, an intake of 40 μg/d is required to maintain the plasma glutathione peroxidase (GPx) activity at plateau. Hence 40 μg/d is considered as the adequate dietary selenium requirement. Studies conducted in a chronic selenosis area indicate thai the toxic dietary selenlum inlake (adverse effect level), which would maintain the characteristic fingernail changes, was approximately 1600 μg/d. The mean value of dietary selenium intakes, which enabled the five patients to recover from fingernail lesions, was found to be 819 ±126μg/d. At a 95% confidence limit, the lower limit is around 600μg/d. Therefore, 600 and 400μg/d were suggested as the individual daily maximum safe selenium intake and the safe dietary selenium intake, respectively,The results were used in the prevention of Se-related endemic KD and Kashin-Beck disease (KBD)展开更多

Considering the characteristics of the UHVAC Pilot Project in China,the importance of study on electromagnetic transient overvoltage in UHVAC projects is demonstrated in this paper.Through analysis and comparison on t...Considering the characteristics of the UHVAC Pilot Project in China,the importance of study on electromagnetic transient overvoltage in UHVAC projects is demonstrated in this paper.Through analysis and comparison on the simulation programs for electromagnetic transient overvoltages,EMTP is then recommended for the UHVAC Pilot Project in China.The element models in EMTP used in simulating power frequency overvoltage and power resonance of non-entire phase operation,etc.,are introduced.The paper also points out that extra attention will be needed when simulating power frequency sequence parameters and line corona.The research outcome provides valuable references for both oversea and domestic UHVAC projects.展开更多

This is profoundly evident in the following： the Marxist philosophy of the state is the theoretical premise of contemporary China＇s consultative governance; traditional Chinese thought on governance and practice are the soil in which contemporary Chinese consultative govemance grows; socialism with Chinese characteristics is the realm in which contemporary Chinese consultative governance exists; the masses under the leadership of the CPC are the necessary subjects of contemporary Chinese consultative governance; and the target of contemporary Chinese consultative governance is a multi-layered and diverse existence. Realization of national governance through consultative democracy is the basic form of contemporary Chinese consultative governance; the balanced development ofpublic, collective and individual interests is the basic objective of contemporary Chinese consultative governance; the basic principles of contemporary Chinese consultative governance are equality, inclusiveness and peace; and the criteria for assessing contemporary Chinese consultative governance are authority, consensus, institutions and the rule of law.
