Important parameters specifying the general quality of the track include track geometry (undamped) and track stiffness (damped), which can be evaluated by measurements taken along with track sections. A new co-simulation model based on Finite Element Method (FEM) and Multi Body Simulation (MBS) is built for the detailed description of track quality and its contribution to vehicle track interaction without simplifying the track structure as interconnected single elements. The simulation models and tools have been validated with the help of measured track geometry, track stiffness and dynamic wheel rail forces along the track sections of high speed lines. A comparative study between high speed lines using conventional ballasted track and ballastless track showed a significantly better quality in ballastless track sections. The dynamic forces which were determined by simulations and verified by measurements along the ballastless track section were comparatively less than the specified limits by German regulations for ballastless track design. Lower levels of dynamic forces can be utilized for optimization of track design and installation procedures with respect to lower initial costs.展开更多

Based on the field test using 12 heavy trucks and finite element simulations, the static deformations of different components, stress increments and distributions of the girder, as well as the vibration characteristics and damping ratio of the Hunan Road Bridge were analyzed, which is the widest self-anchored suspension bridge in China at present. The dynamic responses were calculated using the Newmark-β integration method assisted by the simulation models of bridge and vehicles, the influences on the dynamic impact coefficient(DIC) brought by the vehicle parameters, girder width, eccentricity travel and deck flatness were also researched. The spatial effect of the girder is obvious due to the extra width, which performs as the stress increments distribute unevenly along the transverse direction, and the girder deflections and stress increments of the upper plate change as a "V" and "M" shape respectively under the symmetrical vehicle loads affected by the shear lag effect, cross slope and local effect of the wheels, the maximum of stress increments are located in the junctions with the inner webs. The obvious girder torsional deformation and the apparent unevenness of the hanger forces between the two cable planes under the eccentric vehicle loads, together with the mode shapes such as the girder transverse bending and torsion which appear relatively earlier, all reflect the weakened torsional rigidity of the extra-wide girder. The transverse displacements of towers are more obvious than the longitudinal ones. As for the influences on the DIC, the static effect of the heavier vehicles plays a major role when pass through with a higher speed and the changes of vehicle suspension stiffness generate greater impacts than the suspension damp. The values of DIC in the vehicle-running side during the eccentric travel, affected by the restricts from the static effects of the eccentric moving trucks, are significantly smaller than the vehicle-free side, the increase in the road roughness is the most sensitive one among the above influential factors. The results could provide references for the design, static and dynamic response analysis of the similar extra-wide suspension bridges.展开更多

The 6-DOF motion equations were founded. Through model experiment with accessory bodies, the hydrodynamics of AUV body including resistance, main inertial and viscous hydrodynamic coefficients was obtained. The hydrodynamics of rudders was gained through theoretical calculation. Simulation computation of the vehicle was carried out through numerical integration of the motion equations. A motion simulation system was constructed. Four typical maneuvers in horizontal and vertical planes were simulated and the maneuverability of the mini AUV was forecasted. The simulation results reflect the basic motion characteristic of mini AUV and validate the feasibility and correctness of the whole system. The simulation system can be a testing platform for the design and debugging of motion controller and an effective tool for the development of AUV.展开更多

It has been integrated with real-time three dimensional (3-D) system simulations for detailed and responsive interaction with dynamic virtual environments. By using this virtual model, the conceptual design examination and performance analysis of the PWA system have been realized dynamically in virtual laboratory. System dynamic force, displacement and tension of pipe have been measured through verifying this 3- D virtual prototype. By comparing the static tension and dynamic tension of pipe, the difference between the two kind tensions has been found. The simulated dynamic tension is much greater than the static tension obtained from the static theory. The results attained in this work suggest that the conceptual designed PWA system can meet the requirements of the operation.展开更多

Based on the domestic and international research experiences and the domestic congestion situations, this paper selected six indicators that affect the traffic conditions. As each single indicator cannot reflect the detailed traffic quality separately, the dynamic comprehensive evaluation principle is adopted. Then we used the principle of "Variation Driven" to determine the weight vector of each sub-indicator, and established a multi-indicator comprehensive evaluation system through the dynamic weight of each sub-indicator. Finally, the rationality and feasibility of the system is demonstrated by case analysis. This provides a strong theoretical foundation and basis to mitigate traffic congestion.展开更多

The results could provide references for the design, static and dynamic response analysis of the similar extra-wide suspension bridges.
文摘In order to simulate the under water motion of a mini autonomous underwater vehicle( AUV) and an- alyze its maneuverability, the dynamical characteristic of the mini AUV was researched. The simulation system can be a testing platform for the design and debugging of motion controller and an effective tool for the development of AUV.
文摘A mathematical model of a ribbon pontoon bridge subjected to moving loads was formulated using the theory of simply supported beams. Two types of moving load models were used, the first a moving-constant-force model and the second a moving-mass model.Using both types of loads, the dynamic behavior of a ribbon pontoon bridge was simulated while subjected to a single moving load and then multiple moving loads.Modeling was done with the Simulink package in MATLAB software. Results indicated that the model is correct. The two types of moving load models made little difference to the response ranges when loads moved on the bridge, but made some difference to the response phases. When loads left, the amplitude of the dynamic responses induced by the moving-constant-force model load were larger than those induced by the moving-mass model. There was a great deal more difference when there were more loads.

文摘A model was developed to simulate a vehicle diaphragm spring clutch with the evaluation indicators of jerk degree and friction work.First, the pressing load characteristic of the driven plate of the diaphragm spring clutch was analyzed. Then, the clutch dynamic characteristic under each state was studied according to the basic principles of tribology. Finally, the mathematical model of the clutch was developed.Based on the model, the performance of a vehicle was simulated. The simulation results show that the model can predict the dynamic characteristic of the clutch correctly and evaluate the performance of the clutch engagement effectively. The model can be used for theoretical research of automatic clutch control and can be easily applied to simulate vehicle longitudinal dynamics.
文摘Virtual prototype of pipe wagon articulating (PWA) system has been developed and simulated based on the kinematics and dynamics of machinery and Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems (ADAMS) software. The results attained in this work suggest that the conceptual designed PWA system can meet the requirements of the operation.

文摘The growing use of vehicles with the development of China brings greater pressure on the existing road traffic network. This provides a strong theoretical foundation and basis to mitigate traffic congestion.
