In our work, stoichiometric SrAl2O4 : Eu2+, Dy3+ sol guest was prepared by sol-gel method and assembled into the nanometer channels of zeolite ZSM-5 host through mechanical mixing, hydrothemial reaction and microwave heating reaction, respectively. After being reduced and diffused in a microwave muffle, the fluorescence spectra of the host-guest materials exhibit remarkable blue shifts in companison of that of SrAl2O4 : Eu2+, Dy3+ Some interesting phenomena in the assembled host-guest materials are that the after-low emission spectra exist two bands at about 400 nm and 517 nm and the relative strengths of these two hands can be adjusted by changing the assembly methods and the assembly concentration. These are attributed to the fact that the phosphor was capsuiated into the voids of zeolite ZSM-5 and generated the quantum size effect and the host-guest effect.展开更多
Gold nanorods with aspect ratios of from 1 (particles) to 31.6 were synthesized by the seed-mediated method and packed in a highly ordered structure on a large scale on silicon substrates through capillary force ind...Gold nanorods with aspect ratios of from 1 (particles) to 31.6 were synthesized by the seed-mediated method and packed in a highly ordered structure on a large scale on silicon substrates through capillary force induced self-assembly behaviour during solvent evaporation. The gold nanorod surface exhibits a strong enhancing effect on Raman scattering spectroscopy. The enhancement of Raman scattering for two model molecules (2-naphthalenethiol and rhodamine 6C) is about 5-6 orders of magnitude. By changing the aspect ratio of the Au nanorods, we found that the enhancement factors decreased with the increase of aspect ratios. The observed Raman scattering enhancement is strong and should be ascribed to the surface plasmon coupling between closely packed nanorods, which may result in huge local electromagnetic field enhancements in those confined junctions.展开更多

Inorganic NiO_(x) based inverted structure perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is reported to be more stable than that with the organic hole transport materials.In this work,NiO_(x)/MAPbI_(3) interface chemical reaction ind...Inorganic NiO_(x) based inverted structure perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is reported to be more stable than that with the organic hole transport materials.In this work,NiO_(x)/MAPbI_(3) interface chemical reaction induced instability of perovskite is unveiled:Ni^(3+) and I^(-) exhibit redox reactions and deprotonation of MA^(+) happens,which result in interface defects and perovskite lattice deformation.Thus the defective interface accelerates the degradation of perovskite by defect pathways from the bottom interface to the perovskite surface contacting H_(2)O/O_(2).Self-assembled interlayer of NH_(2)^(-)end silane on NiO_(x)separates the reactive NiO_(x)and MAPbI_(3),tunes the interface energy states by–NH_(2) end group.As a result,the PSC based on the silane treated NiO_(x)achieves enhanced PCE of 20.1%with decent stability under environmental and extreme conditions (high temperature,high humidity,light infiltration).Our work highlights the interface chemical problem induced PSC instability and a simple interface modification to achieve the stable PSCs.展开更多

Referring to the telescope assemble with the dimetric truss, a group of reasonable sizes of the telescope assemble are found by optimization methods and modal analysis, which will raise the resonant frequency by 4.21 %. As a result, the telescope assemble is less likely to resonate. Besides, the dynamic response module in ANSYS is utilized to analyze the modal type, harmonic vibration response and random vibration response of the telescope assemble. By the calculation of ANSYS, finite dement analysis (FEA) method proves that the performance of the telescope assemble is mildly enhanced by means of optimum design.展开更多

In nature,various animal groups like bird flocks display proficient collective navigation achieved by maintaining high consistency and cohesion simultaneously.Both metric and topological interactions have been explore...In nature,various animal groups like bird flocks display proficient collective navigation achieved by maintaining high consistency and cohesion simultaneously.Both metric and topological interactions have been explored to ensure high consistency among groups.The topological interactions found in bird flocks are more cohesive than metric in-teractions against external perturbations,especially the spatially balanced topological interaction(SBTI).However,it is revealed that in complex environments,pursuing cohesion via existing interactions compromises consistency.The authors introduce an innovative solution,assemble topological interaction,to address this challenge.Con-trasting with static interaction rules,the new interaction empowers individuals with self-awareness to adapt to the complex environment by switching between interactions through visual cues.Most individuals employ high-consistency k-nearest topological interaction when not facing splitting threats.In the presence of such threats,some switch to the high-cohesion SBTI to avert splitting.The assemble topological interaction thus transcends the limit of the trade-off between consistency and cohesion.In addition,by comparing groups with varying degrees of these two features,the authors demonstrate that group effects are vital for efficient navigation led by a minority of informed agents.Finally,the real-world drone-swarm experiments validate the applicability of the proposed interaction to artificial robotic collectives.展开更多
Photoresponsive supramolecular systems have merited extensive attention for their applications in materials science and life science.Here,we synthesized a water-soluble stiff-stilbene molecular photoswitch,exhibiting ...Photoresponsive supramolecular systems have merited extensive attention for their applications in materials science and life science.Here,we synthesized a water-soluble stiff-stilbene molecular photoswitch,exhibiting outstanding photoisomerization reaction between its(E)-and(Z)-configurations upon irradiation at distinct light.The photoswitch can assemble with cucurbit[7]uril(CB[7])to form a superior fluorescent supramolecular complex(compared to the only guest)with excellent water solubility,which manifested dramatic photoluminescence enhancement caused by restriction of intramolecular rotation and remained good photochromic characteristics.Furthermore,introduction of CB[7]influence photoreaction quantum yield(Φ)of the stiff-stilbene,leading to reduction ofΦ_(E→Z) and increase ofΦ_(Z→E) of the stiff-stilbene.Importantly,the photoadjustable supramolecular assembly can act as a fluorescence switch,and the phototunable guest further selectively modulate G-quadruplex structure of Tel22 upon light irradiation or with addition of CB[7].The study provides a new simple way for accurately regulating photochromic properties of molecular switches and developing smart materials with potential applications in controlled modulation of G-quadruplex,targeted biological imaging and so on.展开更多

In combination with local BLAST searches and gap filling techniques, a comprehensive antiSMASH-based method was adopted to assemble the secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters in the draft genome of S. ansochromogenes. A total of at least 35 putative gene clusters were identified and assembled. Transcriptional analysis showed that 20 of the 35 gene clusters were expressed in either or all of the three different media tested, whereas the other 15 gene clusters were silent in all three different media. This study provides a comprehensive method to identify and assemble secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters in draft genomes of Streptomyces, and will significantly promote functional studies of these secondary metabolite biosynthetic gene clusters.展开更多

Here we demonstrate a facile and versatile approach to regulate the self-assembly process and transition pH of Au NPs by fine-tuning the co-modified pH-responsive compounds and poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG). Importantly the transition pH(ΔpH=0.4) of the system can be predetermined in the range of 8.2–5.8(assembled to disassembled) and 8.2–4.2(disassembled to assembled), which ideally covers the pH of normal tissue, tumor tissue milieu and organelles. The results of fluorescence imaging, Raman spectroscopy and photothermal conversion of the stimuli-responsive Au NPs shows the potential application for tumor specificity theranostics. In a nutshell this study provides a useful toolkit to design tumor-activatable self-assembled NPs with high specificity and universality.展开更多

The temporary shape of hydrogel was fixed within 20 s in Na OH solution by the tris-complex crosslinking of metalligand complex between Fe3+ ions and catechol groups, while the permanent shape was recovered completely in HCl solution within 60 s upon the change from tris-complex to mono-complex. The hydrogel showed unique spontaneous actuation behavior. It could curl spontaneously without further external force deformation when immersed in Na OH solution again after the first shape recovery in HCl solution. This might be attributed to the competitive result of swelling and additional tris-complex crosslinking formation when immersed in Na OH solution. In addition, the hydrogels also had proper modulus, elongation ratio and tensile strength. Such hydrogel provides a new candidate material for designing soft actuators and robots modulated with spontaneous actuating.展开更多

The temporary shape of hydrogel was fixed within 20 s in Na OH solution by the tris-complex crosslinking of metalligand complex between Fe3+ ions and catechol groups, while the permanent shape was recovered completely in HCl solution within 60 s upon the change from tris-complex to mono-complex. The hydrogel showed unique spontaneous actuation behavior. It could curl spontaneously without further external force deformation when immersed in Na OH solution again after the first shape recovery in HCl solution. This might be attributed to the competitive result of swelling and additional tris-complex crosslinking formation when immersed in Na OH solution. In addition, the hydrogels also had proper modulus, elongation ratio and tensile strength. Such hydrogel provides a new candidate material for designing soft actuators and robots modulated with spontaneous actuating.

文摘Magnetite nanoparticles with different sizes and different assemblies were synthesized via hydrothermal method.Micromagnetic simulation shows the magnetite nanocubes with different sizes have different energy states,which determines the assembly mode.Magnetite nanocubes with the side length of 30-60 nm tended to be dispersed while both nanochains and dispersed nanoparticles were found to grow for the nanocubes with the side length less than 30 nm,which can be explained in the fact that the above two assembly modes have very close energies.The assembly mode of nanocubes with the size bigger than 60 nm is generally nanorings consisting of connected inter-grown nanocubes and the nanocubes are no longer single domain.The simulations are consistent with the experimental results.

文摘A new copper-thiolate cluster assembled framework[Cu2(μ4-SCH3)Cl]n(1),has been solvothermally synthesized through in situ reaction viz.,in situ ligand generation and metal reduction.Compound 1 represents the first 3 D framework based on Atlas-sphere functionalized by singleμ2-Cl groups.DOS calculation reveals the interaction of electronic structures.It is found that the HOMO is mainly distributed on Cl,Cu and S bonding orbitals,while the LUMO is dominated by Cu-Cl antibonding orbitals.
