The ecological conditions that underlie much of human flourishing still receive scant attention from moral philosophers.While interest in philosophy of ecology has grown in recent years,ethicists are still reluctant t...The ecological conditions that underlie much of human flourishing still receive scant attention from moral philosophers.While interest in philosophy of ecology has grown in recent years,ethicists are still reluctant to grant ecological issues the status they arguably deserve.These issues are not restricted to custodianship of the natural world;they also pertain to our ability to enjoy love relationships and other passionate attachments.While the connection between human flourishing and love relationships has an ancient provenance,recently philosophers such as Harry Frankfurt,Bernard Williams,and Susan Wolf have emphasised it.Nevertheless,the ecological conditions of our passionate attachments remain obscure.This chapter investigates the extent that passionate attachments are underwritten by a delicate balance of ecological conditions.To do this,the author examines the effects of the pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus,SARS-CoV-2,which has threatened a key aspect of passionate attachments:our sociality.展开更多
A numerical simulation is conducted to investigate arc-anode attachment behavior, especially the formation mechanism of the constricted arc attachment mode for the water-cooled anode of wall-stabilized transferred arg...A numerical simulation is conducted to investigate arc-anode attachment behavior, especially the formation mechanism of the constricted arc attachment mode for the water-cooled anode of wall-stabilized transferred argon arcs. Argon molecular ions and the corresponding kinetic processes are included to the finite-rate chemistry model in order to capture the chemical nonequilibrium characteristics of the arc near the anode region. Modeling results show that constricted and diffusive arc–anode attachments can be self-consistently obtained at different arc currents while keeping other parameters unchanged. The dominant kinetic processes contributing to ionization and recombination in the arc center and fringes are presented. The results show that in arc fringes and the arc attachment region, molecular ion recombination plays an important role which leads to the rapid loss of electrons. The radial evolution of the production, loss and transport processes of electrons is further analyzed. It is found that for the constricted arc attachment mode, both the recombination and convection transport caused by the anode jet result in the loss of electrons at the arc fringes, which leads to the shrinkage of the arc column at the anode. The formation of the anode jet is due to the combined action of radial and axial Lorentz forces in the anode region.展开更多

The purpose of the present study was to examine the newly fabricated attachments by comparing them with conventional O-ring attachment in vitro in terms of retention force and cyclic aging resistance. A total of 150 samples were prepared and divided into five groups according to the materials used(O-ring attachment, Deflex M10 XR, Deflex Classic SR, Deflex Acrilato FD, and flexible acrylic resin). The retention force of different attachments was measured by a mini dental implant after three subsequent aging(0, 63, and 126) cycles in the circumstances similar to the oral environment. The gap space between the head of the implant and the inner surface of the attachments was detected. Two-way analysis of variance(ANOVA) analysis with multiple comparisons test was applied for statistical analysis. The results showed that Deflex M10 XR had the highest retention force and the lowest gap space after cyclic aging; in addition, by comparing the relative force reduction, the lowest values were obtained in the O-ring attachment and the highest values in the flexible acrylic resin attachment. The retention force measured after cyclic aging for the Deflex M10 XR attachment was greatly improved when compared with the O-ring attachment and other types of attachment materials; in addition, the Deflex M10 XR attachment exhibited the minimum gap space between the inner surface and the mini dental implant head. In conclusion, Deflex M10 XR has the ability to withstand weathering conditions and retains its durable and retentive properties after aging when compared with other attachments.展开更多

The results show that the evolution of biofilm on mortar surfaces in simulated seawater is closely related to the corrosion suffered by the mortar, and the process of biofilm attachment and shedding is continuous and cyclical. It is found that the specimens in the absence of biofilm attachment are more severely eroded internally by the corrosive medium in simulated seawater than those in the presence of biofilm attachment. For the specimens without biofilm attachment, after 60 days, gypsum forms,and after 120 days, the number of pores in the mortar is reduced. In contrast, for the specimens in the presence of biofilm attachment, gypsum could only be detected after 90 days, and fewer pores are filled. Therefore, the formation of biofilm could delay the invasion of the corrosive medium into the interior of mortar during the evolution of biofilm on mortar surfaces, mitigating the corrosion of mortars in seawater.展开更多
During cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR),defibrillation,or cardioversion,the use of self-adhesive pads instead of conventional paddles has gradually become common.In particular,it was recommended during the COVID-19 ...During cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR),defibrillation,or cardioversion,the use of self-adhesive pads instead of conventional paddles has gradually become common.In particular,it was recommended during the COVID-19 pandemic,as it allows defibrillation or cardioversion to be performed without close contact between the rescuer and patient.[1,2]Self-adhesive pads can minimize the downtime of chest compressions before and after defibrillation and protect the patient from electric arc formation,skin burns,and fi re.Once the pads are attached,electrocardiographic rhythm analysis,defibrillation,synchronous cardioversion,and cardiovascular support are all possible.Unlike paddles,self-adhesive pads can save time because the application of conductive jelly,repeated positioning,and application of 10-12 kg of pressure on the chest are not needed.The European Resuscitation Council(ERC)Guidelines 2021 state that the use of self-adhesive pads is recommended in advanced cardiovascular life support(ACLS).[3]Nevertheless,some medical staff still tend to prefer the use of conventional paddles instead of self-adhesive pads in hospitals.展开更多
Hematite(α-Fe_(2)O_(3)) based photoanodes have been extensively studied due to various intriguing features that make them viable candidates for a photoelectrochemical(PEC) water splitting photoanode.Herein,we propose...Hematite(α-Fe_(2)O_(3)) based photoanodes have been extensively studied due to various intriguing features that make them viable candidates for a photoelectrochemical(PEC) water splitting photoanode.Herein,we propose a Zr-doped Fe_(2)O_(3) photoanode decorated with facilely spin-coated Au nanoparticles(NPs) and microwave-assisted attached Si co-doping in conjunction with a SiO_(x) overlayer that displayed a remarkable photocurrent density of 2.01 mA/cm^(2) at 1.23 V vs.RHE.The kinetic dynamics at the photoelectrode/-electrolyte interface was examined by employing systematic electrochemical investigations.The Au NPs played a dual role in increasing PEC water splitting.First,the Schottky interface that was formed between Au NPs and Zr-Fe_(2)O_(3) lectrode ensured the prevention of electron flow from the photoanode to the metal,increasing the number of available charges as well as suppressing surface charge recombination.Second,Au extracted photoholes from the bulk of the Zr-Fe_(2)O_(3) and transported them to the outer SiO_(x) overlayer,while the SiO_(x) overlayer efficiently collected the photoholes and promoted the hole injection into the electrolyte.Further,Si co-doping enhanced bulk conductivity by reducing bulk charge transfer resistance and improving charge carrier density.This study outlines a technique to design a metallic charge transfer path with an overlayer for solar energy conversion.展开更多

However, the influence of attachments placement on articular mechanical environment remains unclear. The present study aims to characterize the stress deterioration caused by abnormal attachment locations. Different placement of medial meniscal attachments were analyzed with a three-dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model of knee joint. The articular stress distribution under compressive loadings indicates that abnormal placement of medial meniscal attachments could cause stress deterioration in meniscus and tibia plateau, which may increase the risk of OA. The influence of PMMA relocation was more severe than that of AMMA. The anterior displacement of both AMMA and PMMA could decrease the tibial contact area and therefore weakening the meniscal function of loading transmission. The present study provides an insight into the biomechanical character of meniscal attachments and may help improving the meniscal transplantation in the future.展开更多

We present a statistical investigation of the degree of influence that assumptions made in relation to the mechanical parameters of a pylon have on its ground-induced vibrations.The study is set up by using as a key k...We present a statistical investigation of the degree of influence that assumptions made in relation to the mechanical parameters of a pylon have on its ground-induced vibrations.The study is set up by using as a key kinematic variable the displacement at the top of a reference,a stand-alone pylon with a uniform cross-section and fixity at its base.Next,statistics are produced using a dimensionless displacement ratio defined between the‘parental’and the‘subsidiary’cases,the latter defined for the pylon(a)resting on compliant soil,(b)having an attached top mass,and(c)being non-uniform with height.Furthermore,two materials are examined,namely,steel and reinforced concrete(R/C).More specifically,this displacement ratio is independent of the excitation and plays the role of a transfer function between the base and the top of the pylon.Both horizontal and vertical motions are considered,and the equations of motion are solved in the frequency domain.The ensuing statistical analysis is conducted for the following parameter combinations:(a)pylon founded on soft,intermediate,and stiff soil;(b)low,intermediate,and high-mass ratios of the attached mass to the pylon′s mass;(c)a constant and quadratic degree of pylon tapering with height.Spearman correlation coefficients are calculated for all the above combinations to arrive at statistical results that establish validity bounds and quantify the degree of influence of each assumption on the pylon′s response.展开更多
In order to theoretically study the growth morphology of dihydroxylammonium 5,5’-bistetrazole-1,1’-dio late(TKX-50)crystal in different solvent systems,crystal–solvent models were established,and then molecular dyn...In order to theoretically study the growth morphology of dihydroxylammonium 5,5’-bistetrazole-1,1’-dio late(TKX-50)crystal in different solvent systems,crystal–solvent models were established,and then molecular dynamics(MD)methods were adopted as a means to simulate particle motion.Modified attachment energy(MAE)model was employed to calculate the growth morphology of TKX-50.The simulation results demonstrate that COMPASS force field and RESP charge are suitable for molecular dynamics simulation of TKX-50.The morphologically dominant growth surfaces of TKX-50 in vacuum are(020),(011),(11–1),(100)and(120),respectively.In water(H_(2)O)and N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF)solvents,the(11–1)face is the largest in the habit face,the growth rate of(020)face becomes faster.With the increase of temperature,the aspect ratios of TKX-50 crystal in DMF solvent increase,and the areas of the(120)faces decrease.In ethylene glycol/H_(2)O mixed solvent system with volume ratio of 1/1,aspect ratio of TKX-50 is relatively small.In formic acid/H_(2)O mixed solvents with different volume ratios(1/4,1/3,1/2,1/1 and 2/1),aspect ratio of TKX-50 is relatively small when volume ratio is 1/2.展开更多

Marine equipments such as marine risers and oil pipelines operate in complex underwater environments and are usually attached by animals,plants and microorganisms.The attachment of marine fouling organisms will accele...Marine equipments such as marine risers and oil pipelines operate in complex underwater environments and are usually attached by animals,plants and microorganisms.The attachment of marine fouling organisms will accelerate the corrosion damage of offshore structure and greatly reduce the service life.Studies have shown that non-smooth bionic surfaces with specific microstructures can inhibit fouling formation.Based on the idea of bionics,this paper proposes a new type of underwater flexible fretting texture,which is a composite material prepared by mixing graphene and silicone rubber,and modified by pulsed laser to construct a hexagonal bionic surface texture.Under the impact of specific water flow,the flexible texture can produce an angular displacement around 8°and a linear displacement in the amplitude range of 165μm,and the inhibition rate of fouling biological diatoms up to 97.5%,which can effectively avoid the occurrence of marine biological fouling.The results provide a new idea for the surface protection of marine structures,which is of great significance for the development of marine industry.展开更多
Numerical simulations of the non-spherical evolution of a pulsating bubble interacting with a stationary air bubble attached to a fixed structure were performed using a three-dimensional boundary integral method by im...Numerical simulations of the non-spherical evolution of a pulsating bubble interacting with a stationary air bubble attached to a fixed structure were performed using a three-dimensional boundary integral method by implementing the mirror image method to simplify the processing of the numerical model. Code validation was accomplished by comparing the numerical results with the laboratory experimental data obtained in our previous study. Complex phenomena were observed, including three types of bubble jet forms, which depended strongly on the distance parameter with respect to the initial location of the bubble from the plate, the bubble strength parameter and the initial air bubble radius parameters. The results of the simulations provide detail insight into interesting bubble jetting phenomena,such as bubble splitting, jets moving away from the plate, and bubble shedding. The dimensionless distance parameter and the initial air bubble radius parameter play a major role in determining the shapes of two bubbles and the jetting direction. The air bubble strength parameter did not change the bubble jet direction but influenced the bubble shape.The detachment of the attached air bubble under oscillating bubble suction was easily observed for a small initial air bubble. These results showed that bubble jetting toward the plate was manipulated through the effect of attached air bubble, and that cavitation-based applications and underwater explosion bubble may benefit from this erosion mitigation approach.展开更多
Several assessing efforts are approved making both communication and information technologies available.In addition to being a part of universal access and service,we aim at assessing the impact of radio access techno...Several assessing efforts are approved making both communication and information technologies available.In addition to being a part of universal access and service,we aim at assessing the impact of radio access technologies on universal access indicators.The proposed work demonstrates the possibility of inter-working of all existing Radio Access Technologies(RATs),in a limited area presented in the Six Generation Radio Resources Allocation(6 G-A)network.We propose a solution for the Vertical hand Over(VHO)in 6 G-A heterogeneous system,that adopts Media Independent Handover(MIH)protocol to benefit between different used technologies in a direct communication firstly and facilitate,in addition,coordination between congestion controlmechanisms with themobilitymanagement entity.The mathematical model has been developed to deal with locality coverage and broadband needs,based on a methodological approach consisting in integrating parameters linked to access index through radio technologies.This approach has been applied.In practice,it has contributed to highlighting its relative simplicity of implementation,but it is not enough for sixgeneration system radio access networks.The congestion control mechanism is integrated within the vertical handover process,this proposition is used to prevent each presented congestion state.The media independent handover IS equipment,as well as six G-A equipment which are both considered as the whole architecture key equipment,perform and guaranty this related process.Efficient communication is established besides information exchange between various technologies.Achieved evaluation results are performant and prove that proposed mechanisms are efficient.Both simulation and tests results are accomplished.展开更多
Objective:To compare the effect of human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG)-producing peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)and PBMCs activated by hCG in vitro and expressions of related immune genes in mouse implantation...Objective:To compare the effect of human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG)-producing peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)and PBMCs activated by hCG in vitro and expressions of related immune genes in mouse implantation.Methods:hCG-producing PBMCs(transfected PBMC)and PBMCs activated by hCG in vitro were introduced into isolated mouse endometrial cells,while cell cultures were divided into four groups:the control,PBMC,transfected,and activated PBMC groups.The expression of studied genes(IL-1β,IL-6,Lif,and Vegf)was evaluated and blastocyst attachment on the cocultured cells(isolated endometrial cells and PBMC cells)was monitored in all four groups.Results:Data showed that expression decreased in the PBMC group compared to the treated PBMC(transfected and activated PBMCs)and increased in transfected PBMC compared to the activated PBMC.Attachment and migration of blastocysts were dramatically enhanced in the transfected PBMC group compared to the activated PBMC group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Use of hCG-producing PBMCs(transfected PBMC)has more influence on endometrial receptivity.展开更多
The implementation of China’s three-child fertility policy has led to a notable increase in multiple-child families.Notably,firstborn children experience a significant transition from being an only child to a non-only ...The implementation of China’s three-child fertility policy has led to a notable increase in multiple-child families.Notably,firstborn children experience a significant transition from being an only child to a non-only child.This transition is associated with problematic behaviors,affecting their social adjustment,sibling relationships,and family harmony.Although several studies have examined the relationship between parent-child attachment and problem behaviors exhibited byfirstborn children during family transitions,thefindings have been inconsistent.Hence,a meta-analytic study was undertaken to elucidate the inconsistencies in this relationship and explore the moderating factors that may contribute to these discrepancies.Using a systematic literature retrieval and screening method,12 effect sizes were derived from the 10 eligible articles,encompassing a sample size of 5319.The meta-analysis demonstrated a low negative association between parent-child secure attachment and problem behaviors exhibited byfirstborn children during family transitions.Furthermore,the present study investigates potential moderator factors,such as children’s age and geographic region,to gain a more nuanced understanding of the relationship.Consequently,the establishment of parent-child attachment relationships has the potential to mitigate problem behaviors observed infirst-born children during family transitions.The implications of thesefindings indicate that parents can nurture secure attachment bonds with their children by demonstrating sensitive responsiveness,employing positive parenting practices,and fostering emotional availability.These efforts contribute to the cultivation of secure internal working models and positive behavioral manifestations withinfirst-born children,which in turn affect their relationships with siblings.展开更多

文摘To explore the role of biofilm formation on the corrosion of marine concrete structures, we investigated the attachment of biofilm on mortar surfaces in simulated seawater and the influence of biofilm on the microstructure of mortar surfaces. The results show that the evolution of biofilm on mortar surfaces in simulated seawater is closely related to the corrosion suffered by the mortar, and the process of biofilm attachment and shedding is continuous and cyclical. It is found that the specimens in the absence of biofilm attachment are more severely eroded internally by the corrosive medium in simulated seawater than those in the presence of biofilm attachment. For the specimens without biofilm attachment, after 60 days, gypsum forms,and after 120 days, the number of pores in the mortar is reduced. In contrast, for the specimens in the presence of biofilm attachment, gypsum could only be detected after 90 days, and fewer pores are filled. Therefore, the formation of biofilm could delay the invasion of the corrosive medium into the interior of mortar during the evolution of biofilm on mortar surfaces, mitigating the corrosion of mortars in seawater.

文摘During cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR),defibrillation,or cardioversion,the use of self-adhesive pads instead of conventional paddles has gradually become common.In particular,it was recommended during the COVID-19 pandemic,as it allows defibrillation or cardioversion to be performed without close contact between the rescuer and patient.[1,2]Self-adhesive pads can minimize the downtime of chest compressions before and after defibrillation and protect the patient from electric arc formation,skin burns,and fi re.Once the pads are attached,electrocardiographic rhythm analysis,defibrillation,synchronous cardioversion,and cardiovascular support are all possible.Unlike paddles,self-adhesive pads can save time because the application of conductive jelly,repeated positioning,and application of 10-12 kg of pressure on the chest are not needed.The European Resuscitation Council(ERC)Guidelines 2021 state that the use of self-adhesive pads is recommended in advanced cardiovascular life support(ACLS).[3]Nevertheless,some medical staff still tend to prefer the use of conventional paddles instead of self-adhesive pads in hospitals.

文摘Hematite(α-Fe_(2)O_(3)) based photoanodes have been extensively studied due to various intriguing features that make them viable candidates for a photoelectrochemical(PEC) water splitting photoanode.Herein,we propose a Zr-doped Fe_(2)O_(3) photoanode decorated with facilely spin-coated Au nanoparticles(NPs) and microwave-assisted attached Si co-doping in conjunction with a SiO_(x) overlayer that displayed a remarkable photocurrent density of 2.01 mA/cm^(2) at 1.23 V vs.RHE.The kinetic dynamics at the photoelectrode/-electrolyte interface was examined by employing systematic electrochemical investigations.The Au NPs played a dual role in increasing PEC water splitting.First,the Schottky interface that was formed between Au NPs and Zr-Fe_(2)O_(3) lectrode ensured the prevention of electron flow from the photoanode to the metal,increasing the number of available charges as well as suppressing surface charge recombination.Second,Au extracted photoholes from the bulk of the Zr-Fe_(2)O_(3) and transported them to the outer SiO_(x) overlayer,while the SiO_(x) overlayer efficiently collected the photoholes and promoted the hole injection into the electrolyte.Further,Si co-doping enhanced bulk conductivity by reducing bulk charge transfer resistance and improving charge carrier density.This study outlines a technique to design a metallic charge transfer path with an overlayer for solar energy conversion.

文摘Meniscal attachments provide constraint for meniscus and contribute to knee stability. However, the influence of attachments placement on articular mechanical environment remains unclear. The present study aims to characterize the stress deterioration caused by abnormal attachment locations. Different placement of medial meniscal attachments were analyzed with a three-dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model of knee joint. The articular stress distribution under compressive loadings indicates that abnormal placement of medial meniscal attachments could cause stress deterioration in meniscus and tibia plateau, which may increase the risk of OA. The influence of PMMA relocation was more severe than that of AMMA. The anterior displacement of both AMMA and PMMA could decrease the tibial contact area and therefore weakening the meniscal function of loading transmission. The present study provides an insight into the biomechanical character of meniscal attachments and may help improving the meniscal transplantation in the future.
文摘Spindle fiber attachments (SFAs) were enriched in a fraction of nuclei isolated from mouselivers. The enrichment method combines sonication, treatment with 2 mol/L NaCl and highspeed centrifugation. SFA was enriched 27-fold on the average (n = 4) when measured byradioimmunoassay. The basic method offers opportunities for further increases of yield andfor the enrichment of SFA uf other vertebrates.

文摘We present a statistical investigation of the degree of influence that assumptions made in relation to the mechanical parameters of a pylon have on its ground-induced vibrations.The study is set up by using as a key kinematic variable the displacement at the top of a reference,a stand-alone pylon with a uniform cross-section and fixity at its base.Next,statistics are produced using a dimensionless displacement ratio defined between the‘parental’and the‘subsidiary’cases,the latter defined for the pylon(a)resting on compliant soil,(b)having an attached top mass,and(c)being non-uniform with height.Furthermore,two materials are examined,namely,steel and reinforced concrete(R/C).More specifically,this displacement ratio is independent of the excitation and plays the role of a transfer function between the base and the top of the pylon.Both horizontal and vertical motions are considered,and the equations of motion are solved in the frequency domain.The ensuing statistical analysis is conducted for the following parameter combinations:(a)pylon founded on soft,intermediate,and stiff soil;(b)low,intermediate,and high-mass ratios of the attached mass to the pylon′s mass;(c)a constant and quadratic degree of pylon tapering with height.Spearman correlation coefficients are calculated for all the above combinations to arrive at statistical results that establish validity bounds and quantify the degree of influence of each assumption on the pylon′s response.

文摘In order to theoretically study the growth morphology of dihydroxylammonium 5,5’-bistetrazole-1,1’-dio late(TKX-50)crystal in different solvent systems,crystal–solvent models were established,and then molecular dynamics(MD)methods were adopted as a means to simulate particle motion.Modified attachment energy(MAE)model was employed to calculate the growth morphology of TKX-50.The simulation results demonstrate that COMPASS force field and RESP charge are suitable for molecular dynamics simulation of TKX-50.The morphologically dominant growth surfaces of TKX-50 in vacuum are(020),(011),(11–1),(100)and(120),respectively.In water(H_(2)O)and N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF)solvents,the(11–1)face is the largest in the habit face,the growth rate of(020)face becomes faster.With the increase of temperature,the aspect ratios of TKX-50 crystal in DMF solvent increase,and the areas of the(120)faces decrease.In ethylene glycol/H_(2)O mixed solvent system with volume ratio of 1/1,aspect ratio of TKX-50 is relatively small.In formic acid/H_(2)O mixed solvents with different volume ratios(1/4,1/3,1/2,1/1 and 2/1),aspect ratio of TKX-50 is relatively small when volume ratio is 1/2.

文摘Marine equipments such as marine risers and oil pipelines operate in complex underwater environments and are usually attached by animals,plants and microorganisms.The attachment of marine fouling organisms will accelerate the corrosion damage of offshore structure and greatly reduce the service life.Studies have shown that non-smooth bionic surfaces with specific microstructures can inhibit fouling formation.Based on the idea of bionics,this paper proposes a new type of underwater flexible fretting texture,which is a composite material prepared by mixing graphene and silicone rubber,and modified by pulsed laser to construct a hexagonal bionic surface texture.Under the impact of specific water flow,the flexible texture can produce an angular displacement around 8°and a linear displacement in the amplitude range of 165μm,and the inhibition rate of fouling biological diatoms up to 97.5%,which can effectively avoid the occurrence of marine biological fouling.The results provide a new idea for the surface protection of marine structures,which is of great significance for the development of marine industry.

文摘Numerical simulations of the non-spherical evolution of a pulsating bubble interacting with a stationary air bubble attached to a fixed structure were performed using a three-dimensional boundary integral method by implementing the mirror image method to simplify the processing of the numerical model. Code validation was accomplished by comparing the numerical results with the laboratory experimental data obtained in our previous study. Complex phenomena were observed, including three types of bubble jet forms, which depended strongly on the distance parameter with respect to the initial location of the bubble from the plate, the bubble strength parameter and the initial air bubble radius parameters. The results of the simulations provide detail insight into interesting bubble jetting phenomena,such as bubble splitting, jets moving away from the plate, and bubble shedding. The dimensionless distance parameter and the initial air bubble radius parameter play a major role in determining the shapes of two bubbles and the jetting direction. The air bubble strength parameter did not change the bubble jet direction but influenced the bubble shape.The detachment of the attached air bubble under oscillating bubble suction was easily observed for a small initial air bubble. These results showed that bubble jetting toward the plate was manipulated through the effect of attached air bubble, and that cavitation-based applications and underwater explosion bubble may benefit from this erosion mitigation approach.
文摘Several assessing efforts are approved making both communication and information technologies available.In addition to being a part of universal access and service,we aim at assessing the impact of radio access technologies on universal access indicators.The proposed work demonstrates the possibility of inter-working of all existing Radio Access Technologies(RATs),in a limited area presented in the Six Generation Radio Resources Allocation(6 G-A)network.We propose a solution for the Vertical hand Over(VHO)in 6 G-A heterogeneous system,that adopts Media Independent Handover(MIH)protocol to benefit between different used technologies in a direct communication firstly and facilitate,in addition,coordination between congestion controlmechanisms with themobilitymanagement entity.The mathematical model has been developed to deal with locality coverage and broadband needs,based on a methodological approach consisting in integrating parameters linked to access index through radio technologies.This approach has been applied.In practice,it has contributed to highlighting its relative simplicity of implementation,but it is not enough for sixgeneration system radio access networks.The congestion control mechanism is integrated within the vertical handover process,this proposition is used to prevent each presented congestion state.The media independent handover IS equipment,as well as six G-A equipment which are both considered as the whole architecture key equipment,perform and guaranty this related process.Efficient communication is established besides information exchange between various technologies.Achieved evaluation results are performant and prove that proposed mechanisms are efficient.Both simulation and tests results are accomplished.
文摘Objective:To compare the effect of human chorionic gonadotropin(hCG)-producing peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)and PBMCs activated by hCG in vitro and expressions of related immune genes in mouse implantation.Methods:hCG-producing PBMCs(transfected PBMC)and PBMCs activated by hCG in vitro were introduced into isolated mouse endometrial cells,while cell cultures were divided into four groups:the control,PBMC,transfected,and activated PBMC groups.The expression of studied genes(IL-1β,IL-6,Lif,and Vegf)was evaluated and blastocyst attachment on the cocultured cells(isolated endometrial cells and PBMC cells)was monitored in all four groups.Results:Data showed that expression decreased in the PBMC group compared to the treated PBMC(transfected and activated PBMCs)and increased in transfected PBMC compared to the activated PBMC.Attachment and migration of blastocysts were dramatically enhanced in the transfected PBMC group compared to the activated PBMC group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Use of hCG-producing PBMCs(transfected PBMC)has more influence on endometrial receptivity.

文摘The implementation of China’s three-child fertility policy has led to a notable increase in multiple-child families.Notably,firstborn children experience a significant transition from being an only child to a non-only child.This transition is associated with problematic behaviors,affecting their social adjustment,sibling relationships,and family harmony.Although several studies have examined the relationship between parent-child attachment and problem behaviors exhibited byfirstborn children during family transitions,thefindings have been inconsistent.Hence,a meta-analytic study was undertaken to elucidate the inconsistencies in this relationship and explore the moderating factors that may contribute to these discrepancies.Using a systematic literature retrieval and screening method,12 effect sizes were derived from the 10 eligible articles,encompassing a sample size of 5319.The meta-analysis demonstrated a low negative association between parent-child secure attachment and problem behaviors exhibited byfirstborn children during family transitions.Furthermore,the present study investigates potential moderator factors,such as children’s age and geographic region,to gain a more nuanced understanding of the relationship.Consequently,the establishment of parent-child attachment relationships has the potential to mitigate problem behaviors observed infirst-born children during family transitions.The implications of thesefindings indicate that parents can nurture secure attachment bonds with their children by demonstrating sensitive responsiveness,employing positive parenting practices,and fostering emotional availability.These efforts contribute to the cultivation of secure internal working models and positive behavioral manifestations withinfirst-born children,which in turn affect their relationships with siblings.
