Molecular biology with different targets for diagnosis and species identification has been used for decades, also dermoscopy, a non-invasive diagnostic tool has shown its usefulness. We present the first case of cutaneous leishmaniasis in non-endemic place (Guerrero, Mexico) identifying Leishmania mexicana with molecular biology, and treated with itraconazole.展开更多
