Derivation of Plastic Work Rate Done per Unit Volume for Mean Yield Criterion and Its Application

In Haigh Westergaard stress space linear combination of twin shear stress and Tresca yield functions is called the mean yield （MY） criterion. The mathematical relationship of the criterion and its plastic work rate done per unit volume were derived. A generalized worked example of slab forging was analyzed by the criterion and its corresponding plastic work rate done per unit volume. Then, the precision of the solution was compared with those by Mises and Twin shear stress yield criterions, respectively. It turned out that the calculated results by MY criterion were in good agreement with those by Mises criterion.

A Study on Control System of Robot Working Unit for Automatically Welding Nipples onto Header of Boiler

The difficult problem of automatically welding nipples onto the header is first analyzed in this paper, and then the overall structure and operating principle of the robot working unit are introduced. The robot and the measuring device are located by employing the traveling lorry, and this unit enables the robot to adjust the tracks according to the errors received from the measuring device, and then the nipples are welded properly. This paper emphases on the development of the master-slave control system, in which the prograrmmable Logic Controller (PLC) is used as the master computer.

Analysis of Software Development and Enhancement Projects Work Effort per Unit Based on the COSMIC Method with Regard to Technological Factors—Case Study

This paper aims to present a case study that consists in the analysis of work effort per unit of software systems Development and Enhancement Projects (D&EP) depending on technological factors. That analysis was commissioned by one of the largest public institutions in Poland. This is the COSMIC (Common Software Measurement International Consortium) function points method that is chosen by this institution as a point of reference for size of software systems developed/enhanced for supporting its functions and therefore this method is the base for the analysis of D&EP work effort per unit with regard to technological factors.

＂Beyond the Dreams of Loveliness＂ --Film, Unionism, and Working Class Community Formation in Detroit, 1933-1939

Ever since Lawrence Goodwyn published The Populist Moment, social historians have been keenly aware of the power culture represents when it comes to resistance. Historically, ＂movement culture＂ has been used to create a collective climate and offered political activists a springboard to discuss with the masses the benefits of joining a social movement. ＂Beyond the Dreams of Loveliness＂ uses the cultural outlet of film and the labor movement in the city of Detroit as analytical tools to examine working class community resistance throughout the 1930s. In the midst of the ＂golden age of film＂ community activists and union organizers--some of whom were well-known radicals and some of whom were mainstream unionists--used the institution of cinema to instill a level of class consciousness in the masses and mobilize the working class community against exploitation of employers, reactionary politicians, and white supremacist organizations. Movie-going had been a very popular form of recreation in Detroit since the 1920s and downtown theatres increasingly became the destination of an eclectic array of workers. Movie theaters themselves were bastions of community activity around the thirties and many were located in the heart of the city＇s working class district. Yet it was the films themselves that offered community activists and unionists a chance to converse with workers regarding the socio-economic matters of the day. Hollywood released a good number of films that dealt with working class issues and provided activists with ample opportunities to ＂instruct＂ the audience and carry on the discussion into the factory or union halls. ＂Beyond the Dreams of Loveliness＂ relies on a combination of oral histories, movie reviews, film clips, and union and/or working class organizational records to illuminate how activists in Detroit＇s working class community used film as an outlet to inspire working class resistance. In sum, film provided an accessible form of entertainment that proved to be effective on two fronts： It promoted increased group cooperation, friendship, and alliances while it also fostered a shared culture, making it easier for activists to organize workers in the coming struggles for unionism.

Work experience of special workers returning to work after the public health emergency:taking ICU nurses who have been infected with COVID-19 as example

Objective:The occurrence of some public health events inevitably endangers medical personnel,and medical personnel,as a special group,have to resume work on time to treat patients.This coronavirus disease-2019(COVID-19)infection is a good example,and what intensive care unit(ICU)nurses experience as the primary caregivers of critically ill patients after COVID-19 infection is our focus.To explore the work experience of ICU nurses after recovery from COVID-19,and to provide a theoretical basis for the intervention to improve the physical and mental health level and work experience of special workers in public health emergencies.Methods:We conducted an explorative descriptive study using an inductive thematic analysis.Using the maximum differential sampling method,a semi-structured interview was conducted among 13 ICU nurses suffered from COVID-19 in a tertiary grade A hospital in Qingdao,Shandong Province.This study carried on the theme analysis according to the inductive content analysis method and used MAXQDA 2020 Analytics Pro(VERBI Software GmbH,Berlin,Germany)to manage and summarize the interview data.Results:After being infected by the virus,SARS-Coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2),the pathogen of COVID-19,the work experience of ICU nurses was extracted from the following 5 themes:(1)Stress and challenge caused by the change of work focus;(2)downsizing,overtime,taking up work with illness,and physical discomfort;(3)dedication and family debt;(4)unknown fear and helplessness;and(5)professional responsibility and sense of benefit.Conclusions:Under the pressure of COVID-19,ICU nurses face multiple pressures and challenges,and their emotions are complex.We suggest that nursing managers should take corresponding measures to alleviate nurses'physical and psychological pressure and improve their work experience.

Residents′Activity-travel Behavior Variation by Communities in Beijing,China

China's transition from a planned economy to a market economy has resulted in many changes in its urban structure and society and provided an opportunity for a quasi-longitudinal case study on the relationship between the built environment and activity-travel behavior.This paper draws upon data from an activity diary survey conducted in Beijing in 2007.The survey sample comprised 652 residents living in Danwei(work unit),commodity housing,and affordable housing neighborhoods.On the basis of the three-dimensional geo-visualization analysis of the space-time path and statistical multivariate regression models of daily travel and leisure time,it was found that both residential spatial factors and socio-demographics influence residents' daily behaviors.The findings show that Danwei residents have less daily travel time than those who live in commodity housing,but people living in affordable housing endure the longest travel time.Daily leisure time is associated more with individual attributes.We argue that although China's transition is currently gradual,the Danwei system may continue to play significant roles in daily life,and it might provide a valuable model for neighborhood spatial planning.

目的探索运用同质化管理模式在手术室外麻醉工作单元麻精药品管理中的作用。方法从2021年7月开始运用同质化管理模式对手术室外麻醉工作单元麻精药品进行管理,通过制定同质化管理流程,比较和分析同质化管理模式实施后每季度麻精药品质量管理指标的比值率。结果每季度管理指标评分均有明显提升。结论运用同质化管理模式在手术室外麻醉工作单元麻精药品管理中,能有效提高麻精药品的管理质量,达到药品规范化、精细化、安全化管理的目的,值得推广。

大型抽水蓄能发电电动机变压器组保护的研发与应用

针对抽水蓄能机组的特点,本文给出了发电电动机变压器组保护的配置方案;介绍了基于采样数据源分区的全工况保护算法,满足抽水蓄能机组保护算法的需求;提出了抽水蓄能机组工况综合判别方法,引入断路器、电气隔离开关以及监控信息的双位置辅助接点,同时设计了一种状态机机制、电气量辅助判别和开关位置报警功能,保证了抽水蓄能机组工况识别的准确性和可靠性;介绍了一种电气量和开入量综合判别的相序保护方案。研制的发电电动机变压器组保护装置已在300MW抽水蓄能机组投入应用,应用效果良好。

ICU护士领悟社会支持在工作压力与隐性缺勤间的中介效应分析

目的探讨领悟社会支持在ICU护士工作压力与隐性缺勤间的中介作用。方法采用方便抽样的方法,于2023年2月选取宁夏回族自治区二级及以上医院的403名ICU护士,采用一般人口学资料调查表、领悟社会支持量表、中国护士工作压力源量表、斯坦福隐性缺勤量表对其进行测评,应用AMOS 23.0软件建立模型并进行路径分析。结果ICU护士工作压力、领悟社会支持和隐性缺勤得分分别为(99.45±19.22)、(58.94±15.04)和(17.33±4.49)分;结构方程模型结果显示,ICU护士工作压力对隐性缺勤具有正向预测作用(β=0.16,P<0.01),领悟社会支持对隐性缺勤具有反向预测作用(β=-0.04,P<0.01);ICU护士领悟社会支持在工作压力与隐性缺勤间存在部分中介作用(间接效应值为0.016),效应贡献为9.09%。结论宁夏回族自治区二级及以上医院ICU护士隐性缺勤现象较为严重,领悟社会支持在工作压力与隐性缺勤间起部分中介作用,管理者可从工作资源角度调动ICU护士,充分挖掘和利用其社会支持资源来缓解其工作压力,减少隐性缺勤行为。

前置暖风器电站锅炉烟气余热回收系统多参数设计与变工况运行策略

针对前置暖风器烟气余热回收系统,建立了多参数设计优化与变工况特性计算模型,开展了系统的多参数优化,并提出了运行参数控制策略。结果表明:多参数优化后系统在设计工况下的节煤率为3.67 g/(kW·h);多参数优化后的系统在变工况下虽能保持较高的节煤率,但系统的安全性受到环境温度和负荷的严重制约;采用所提出的控制策略可使系统在100%额定负荷下,安全运行的环境温度下限从24℃扩展至-3℃,显著提高了系统优化的综合效果。
