Single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs)have been introduced as compliant electrodes for dielectric elastomers(DEs)due to fault tolerance.To acquire a better electrostrictive strain and longer lifetime,it is essential to...Single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs)have been introduced as compliant electrodes for dielectric elastomers(DEs)due to fault tolerance.To acquire a better electrostrictive strain and longer lifetime,it is essential to obtain a certain and uniform width of the SWNT electrode.To ensure uniform width manually,a small flux and longer time are necessary.Moreover,it is difficult to control the width of the electrode for the randomness of manual spraying.Therefore,a new type of automatic spraying process is presented in this paper.The width and homogeneity of the electrode can be easily controlled by certain parameters of the process.Two methods for detecting the homogeneity of the electrode are introduced in this paper:Measurement of surface resistance and luminosity.The coefficient of variation(CV)values detected by the two methods are virtually equal and less than 8%,which shows the feasibility of the detection method and homogeneity of automatic spraying.The speed of automatic spraying is 102 mm^(2)/s,which is higher than that of manual spraying.The spraying process and the method used to detect homogeneity in this paper provide a reference for the relevant processes.展开更多
Background This study aims at addressing the lack of closed-loop feedback optimization enabling tool in aircraft automatic spraying systems;we systematically analyze a three-dimensional(3D)virtual-real mapping techniq...Background This study aims at addressing the lack of closed-loop feedback optimization enabling tool in aircraft automatic spraying systems;we systematically analyze a three-dimensional(3D)virtual-real mapping technique,namely the digital twin technique,used by the automatic spraying system.Methods With the sensors installed in the spraying system,the spraying working parameters are collected online and are used for driving the 3D virtual spraying system to realize the total-factor monitoring of the spraying operation.Furthermore,the operation-evaluation model is applied for analyzing and managing the key indexes of the spraying quality;once the data value of the key indexes exceeds a threshold,the operation shall be optimized automatically.Results This approach can effectively support the high-efficiency analysis,evaluation,and optimization of the spraying process.展开更多
The cutting propagation technique of Picea koraiensis was carried under automatic spraytng of total sunlight by adopting the same year epicormic branches from different trees with different age treated by different ho...The cutting propagation technique of Picea koraiensis was carried under automatic spraytng of total sunlight by adopting the same year epicormic branches from different trees with different age treated by different hormones in different concentration and time and the orthogonal and randomized block was designed. The results were as follows : (1)The rooting rate of the cutting reached at least 87 percent, when the cuttings were from the seed tree with the age below 25 years old and the cuts of the cuttings base were in vertical angle and on the fine sand medium. (2) The sequence of effective factors affecting the rooting rate were the style of cut, the age of seed tree and the trpe of mediun. (3) There are significant differences of rooting rate among different clones.展开更多
