V和B元素对Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo合金显微组织及热变形机制的影响

为了探究V和B元素复合添加对β型γ-TiAl合金的显微组织和变形机制产生的影响,本工作针对Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo合金和Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo-2V-0.2B合金,进行了不同温度和应变速率条件下的高温热压缩实验,利用SEM-BSE和TEM对组织进行表征,对比分... 为了探究V和B元素复合添加对β型γ-TiAl合金的显微组织和变形机制产生的影响,本工作针对Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo合金和Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo-2V-0.2B合金,进行了不同温度和应变速率条件下的高温热压缩实验,利用SEM-BSE和TEM对组织进行表征,对比分析了其变形后的显微组织,研究了添加V和B对Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo合金的显微组织及热变形机制的影响。结果表明,2种TiAl合金的显微组织差异较大,添加V和B可以显著改变TiAl合金对热变形的敏感性。Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo-2V-0.2B合金高温变形能力明显优于Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo合金。Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo合金的高温热变形以难变形片层团的偏转、变形带的产生为主,温度为1250℃时,其变形组织表现出较高的温度和应变速率敏感性,极易形成尺寸不均匀的近片层组织;对于Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo-2V-0.2B合金而言,升高变形温度或降低应变速率,既可以促进片层团内部的变形诱导L(α/γ)→α+γ+β/B2和γ→α相变,又可以促进α和β/B2相的球化/动态再结晶,从而大幅提高该合金的组织均匀性。基于变形参数对组织的影响规律,确定了控制Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo和Ti-44Al-5Nb-1Mo-2V-0.2B合金中近全片层、近双态显微组织的方法。 展开更多

In order to develop the liquid phase sintering process of WC-Ni3Al-B composites,the preparation process of WC+Ni3Al prealloyed powder by reaction synthesis of carbonyl Ni,analytical purity Al and coarse WC powders was investigated.DSC and XRD were adopted to study the procedure of phase transformation for the 3Ni+Al and 70%WC+(3Ni+Al) mixed powders in temperature ranges of 550-1200 °C and 25-1400 °C,respectively.The results demonstrate that the formation mechanism of Ni3Al depends on the reaction temperature.Besides WC phase,there exist Ni2Al3,NiAl and Ni3Al intermetallics in the powder mixture after heat treatment at 200-660 °C,while only NiAl and Ni3Al exist at 660-1100 °C.Homogeneous WC+Ni3Al powder mixture can be obtained in the temperature range of 1100-1200 °C.The WC-30%(Ni3Al-B) composites prepared from the mixed powders by conventional powder metallurgy technology show nearly full density and the shape of WC is round.WC-30%(Ni3Al-B) composites exhibit higher hardness of 9.7 GPa,inferior bending strength of 1800 MPa and similar fracture toughness of 18 MPa-m1/2 compared with commercial cemented carbides YGR45(WC-30%(Co-Ni-Cr)). 展开更多

A newly designed TiAl alloy containing W,Nb,and B was produced through magnetic-flotation-melting method.Mass production of this TiAl-based alloy,15 kg ingot size,which is quite different from the 0.05 kg small ingot produced by arc-melting,has a large effect on the metallurgical properties,such as the grain size and the phase structures of the alloy.Heat treatments were carefully designed in order to reduce the amount of the high-temperature remaining β phase in the alloy,and to obtain optimal microstructures for mechanical behavior studies.A room-temperature ductility of 1.9% was obtained in the cast TiAl-based alloy after the appropriate heat treatment.The mechanical behavior of the large ingot through mass production of the TiAl-based alloy was largely improved by the alloy design and subsequent heat treatments. 展开更多

An investigation was carried out to assess the applicability of transient liquid phase bonding of two dissimilar super-alloys with different interlayers. The effect of using three types of interlayer such as BNi-2, BNi-3, and BNi-9 on microstructure and mechanical properties was studied in the GTD-111/IN-718 system at 1100 ℃ for different bonding time. To determine the compositional changes and microstructure in the joint region, field emission scanning electron microscopy equipped with energy dispersive spectroscopy was utilized. The formation of Ni_(3)B in the athermally solidified zone(ASZ) is controlled by the B content and, accordingly, the morphology of Ni_(3)Si is governed by the Si content. The Cr content might impede the relocation of B from the interlayer into the base metal and the formation of CrB inside the ASZ is dominated by the Cr content. The high micro-hardness of the eutectic compounds is originated from the formation of boride matrixes such as Ni or Cr boride. The shear strength of the joint using BNi-9 after the completion of isothermal solidification is lower compared that that using BNi-3 and BNi-2, which could be related to the absence of Si in the filler metals constituent and the significant presence of Cr in BNi-9. 展开更多

The light weight heat treated B-grade bulletproof steel was developed through composition design and optimization based on multiplex alloying,multiplex micro-alloying design ideas and complex phase structure strengthening theory.The puzzle how to avoid the quenching deformation problem of super high strength thin sheet was solved through heat treatment in a die with a set of cooling system.Such B-grade bulletproof steel plate has fine tempered lath martensite structure.The shooting and certification test results showed that the shoot resistance of B-grade bulletproof steel plate can meet the protection demand of Protection specification for cash carrying vehicles(GA 164—2005).In comparison with B-grade bulletproof steel plate made by one of the companies in Sweden,the weight of the developed B-grade bulletproof steel plate can be decreased by 8 %under the same shoot resistance condition.It will be meaningful for cash truck and anti-hijacking vehicle to realize light weight,energy conservation and emission reduction. 展开更多
