BP announced that it would set up a large solar energy demonstration project, the Solar Sail, at Guangdong Science Center to enhance the public＇s awareness of environment protection and promote the usage of renewable energy. For these two projects, BP has donated US$5 million, SYSU-BP Center, will be established in the east branch of Sun Yat-sen University, it is funded jointly by Sun Yat-sen University and BP, focusing on LNG education, training and research, is also the first research and education institute of LNG in China. This centre will be dedicated to the research and development of LNG engineering technique and the information, scientific and technology exchange at home and abroad.展开更多
