The laminated transition metal disulfides(TMDs),which are well known as typical two-dimensional(2D)semiconductive materials,possess a unique layered structure,leading to their wide-spread applications in various fields,such as catalysis,energy storage,sensing,etc.In recent years,a lot of research work on TMDs based functional materials in the fields of electromagnetic wave absorption(EMA)has been carried out.Therefore,it is of great significance to elaborate the influence of TMDs on EMA in time to speed up the application.In this review,recent advances in the development of electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbers based on TMDs,ranging from the VIB group to the VB group are summarized.Their compositions,microstructures,electronic properties,and synthesis methods are presented in detail.Particularly,the modulation of structure engineering from the aspects of heterostructures,defects,morphologies and phases are systematically summarized,focusing on optimizing impedance matching and increasing dielectric and magnetic losses in the EMA materials with tunable EMW absorption performance.Milestones as well as the challenges are also identified to guide the design of new TMDs based dielectric EMA materials with high performance. 展开更多

Cobalt ferrite has problems such as poor impedance matching and high density,which results in unsatisfactory electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption performance.In this study,the CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C core-shell structure composite was synthesized by a two-step hydrothermal method.X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis,and vector network analysis et al.were used to test the structure and EMW absorption properties of CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C composite.The results show that the reflection loss(RL)of the CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C composite reaches the maximum value of25.66 dB at 13.92 GHz,and the effective absorbing band(EAB)is 4.59 GHz(11.20-15.79 GHz)when the carbon mass content is 6.01%.The RL and EAB of CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C composite are increased by 219.55%and 4.59 GHz respectively,and the density is decreased by 20.78%compared with the cobalt ferrite.Such enhanced EMW absorption properties of CoFe_(2)O_(4)@C composite are attributed to the attenuation caused by the strong natural resonance of the cobalt ferrite,moreover,the carbon coating layer adjusts the impedance matching of the composite,and the introduced dipole polarization and interface polarization can cause multiple Debye relaxation processes. 展开更多

Analytical Structure Matching and Very Precise Approach to the Coulombic Quantum Three—Body Problem

A powerful approach to solve the Coulombic quantum three-body problem is proposed. The approach is exponentially convergent and more efficient than the hypcrsphcrical coordinate method and the correlation-function hyperspherical harmonic method. This approach is numerically competitive with the variational methods, such as that using the Hylleraas-type basis functions. Numerical comparisons are made to demonstrate the efficiency of this approach, by calculating the nonrelativistic and infinite-nuclear-mass limit of the ground state energy of the helium atom. The exponential convergency of this approach is due to the full matching between the analytical structure of the basis functions that are used in this paper and the true wavefunction. This full matching was not reached by most other methods. For example, the variational method using the Hylleraas-type basis does not reflects the logarithmic singularity of the true wavefunction at the origin as predicted by Bartlett and Fock. Two important approaches are proposed in this work to reach this full matching: the coordinate transformation method and the asymptotic series method. Besides these, this work makes use of the lcast square method to substitute complicated numerical integrations in solving the Schrodinger equation without much loss of accuracy, which is routinely used by people to fit a theoretical curve with discrete experimental data, but here is used to simplify thc computation. 展开更多

In the present paper,a microwave absorber with nanoscale gradient structure was proposed for enhancing the electromagnetic absorption performance.The inorganic-organic competitive coating strategy was employed,which can effectively adjust the thermodynamic and kinetic reactions of iron ions during the solvothermal process.As a result,Fe nanoparticles can be gradually decreased from the inner side to the surface across the hollow carbon shell.The results reveal that it offers an outstanding reflection loss value in combination with broadband wave absorption and flexible adjustment ability,which is superior to other relative graded distribution structures and satisfied with the requirements of lightweight equipment.In addition,this work elucidates the intrinsic microwave regulation mechanism of the multiscale hybrid electromagnetic wave absorber.The excellent impedance matching and moderate dielectric parameters are exhibited to be the dominative factors for the promotion of microwave absorption performance of the optimized materials.This strategy to prepare gradient-distributed microwave absorbing materials initiates a new way for designing and fabricating wave absorber with excellent impedance matching property in practical applications. 展开更多

Background Image matching is crucial in numerous computer vision tasks such as 3D reconstruction and simultaneous visual localization and mapping.The accuracy of the matching significantly impacted subsequent studies.Because of their local similarity,when image pairs contain comparable patterns but feature pairs are positioned differently,incorrect recognition can occur as global motion consistency is disregarded.Methods This study proposes an image-matching filtering algorithm based on global motion consistency.It can be used as a subsequent matching filter for the initial matching results generated by other matching algorithms based on the principle of motion smoothness.A particular matching algorithm can first be used to perform the initial matching;then,the rotation and movement information of the global feature vectors are combined to effectively identify outlier matches.The principle is that if the matching result is accurate,the feature vectors formed by any matched point should have similar rotation angles and moving distances.Thus,global motion direction and global motion distance consistencies were used to reject outliers caused by similar patterns in different locations.Results Four datasets were used to test the effectiveness of the proposed method.Three datasets with similar patterns in different locations were used to test the results for similar images that could easily be incorrectly matched by other algorithms,and one commonly used dataset was used to test the results for the general image-matching problem.The experimental results suggest that the proposed method is more accurate than other state-of-the-art algorithms in identifying mismatches in the initial matching set.Conclusions The proposed outlier rejection matching method can significantly improve the matching accuracy for similar images with locally similar feature pairs in different locations and can provide more accurate matching results for subsequent computer vision tasks. 展开更多

In the XML community, exact queries allow users to specify exactly what they want to check and/or retrieve in an XML document. When they are applied to a semi-structured document or to a document with an overly complex model, the lack or the ignorance of the explicit document model (DTD—Document Type Definition, Schema, etc.) increases the risk of obtaining an empty result set when the query is too specific, or, too large result set when it is too vague (e.g. it contains wildcards such as “*”). The reason is that in both cases, users write queries according to the document model they have in mind;this can be very far from the one that can actually be extracted from the document. Opposed to exact queries, preference queries are more flexible and can be relaxed to expand the search space during their evaluations. Indeed, during their evaluation, certain constraints (the preferences they contain) can be relaxed if necessary to avoid precisely empty results;moreover, the returned answers can be filtered to retain only the best ones. This paper presents an algorithm for evaluating such queries inspired by the TreeMatch algorithm proposed by Yao et al. for exact queries. In the proposed algorithm, the best answers are obtained by using an adaptation of the Skyline operator (defined in relational databases) in the context of documents (trees) to incrementally filter into the partial solutions set, those which satisfy the maximum of preferential constraints. Damage to semi-rigid base asphalt pavement is related to improper matching of the pavement structure moduli.This study mainly focused on the modulus matching of structural layers and the development of a pavement structure optimization method.First,the modulus loss of existing pavement structures was analysed,and a three-dimensional finite element model was established based on the existing pavement.Second,the influence of the modulus of each structural layer on the mechanical response indicators and fatigue life was analysed.Based on the results,a pavement structure design method using the smoothness of the stress-strain curve as the modulus matching criterion of the structural layers was proposed.And it was found that a strain convex point was present and that the stress mutation between the structural layers was significant when the modulus matching of the pavement structure was reasonable.Further,the evaluation indicators were divided into two groups,namely,mechanical indicators and fatigue life indicators.And it was proposed an optimized pavement structure design method based on modulus matching and multi-indicator range analysis.Finally,the optimal modulus combination of pavement structure was determined by this method.The research systematically studied the influence of the modulus of each structural layer on the mechanical response and fatigue life of the pavement,and proposed the concept and specific executive criteria of modulus matching for the first time.Meanwhile,it also provided an effective optimization method for pavement structure design. 展开更多

A hierarchical model was established based on “whole-part-object” data model. Finally, the model of urban road network matching is proposed, which used consistency evaluation model selected matching objects from high-grade road to the low-level road. The meth- od employed the average squared distance as the matching criterion. The point to surface distance was achieved by use of iterative method and the modeling of RCGA for the surface matching was also presented in detail. Parameter selection for RCGA including the crossover rate and population size was discussed. Evaluation results of series simulated surfaces without form error show that this method can achieve the accuracy of root mean square deviation ( Sq ) less than 1 nm and surface pro- file error ( St ) less than 4 nm. Evaluation of the surfaces with different simulated errors illustrates that the proposed method can also robustly obtain the form error with nano-meter precision. The e- valuation of actual measured surfaces further indicates that the proposed method is capable of pre- cisely evaluating micro-structured surfaces. 展开更多

The Rocking Horse Winner displays a story about a young boy who desperately wanted to make enough money to satisfy his mother's desire for wealth, and finally sacrificed his life in picking the winner in horse races to fill in the hole of her mother's greediness. The Rocking-Horse Winner is a sardonic tale employing devices of the fairy tale and a mockingly detached tone to teach the value of love and the dangers of money. Itshows Lawrence's distain for conspicuous consumption, crass materialism,and an emotionally distant style of parenting during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. This paper analyzes the tale from a structural perspective. Through a structural exploration in personality, personal relationships, and a grand opposing framework, this paper reveals the plot development and the theme. 展开更多

Different types of capital are better suited to financing technologies with different risk profiles,and structural matching between finance and technology may critically influence economic growth.Using cross-province panel data from China,we estimated the impact of the matching relationship between regions'financial structure and technology level on economic growth.We show that:(ⅰ)the matching relationship had a statistically significant positive impact on economic growth;(ⅱ)structural mismatching reduced economic growth in comparison with the optimal matching point;(ⅲ)structural matching better facilitated economic growth in more developed regions;and(ⅳ)capital accumulation and technological progress were two of the main channels through which matching influenced economic growth.We address potential endogeneity concerns and perform robustness checks,and our results remain valid.Our findings provide convincing evidence for the optimalfinancial structure theory and explain China's rapid growth despite its comparatively underdeveloped securities market. 展开更多

This paper presents a method to estimate the depth of deep-sea target by matching the time delay and amplitude structure of echo multipath highlight clusters.The echo structure is the convolution of two-way channel transfer function as well as the acoustic scattering function of the target,which shows the characteristics of deep-sea highlight clusters when the target is close to the sea surface or near the sea bottom.The time delay and amplitude structure of highlight clusters are related to the target depth,which can be used to estimate the target depth.A method of matching estimation of target depth on range-depth grid using nonlinear programming cost function is established.The mismatch effects of inter-cluster time delay interval deviation and sea water sound velocity profile deviation on matching estimation are simulated and analyzed.The results of a winter experiment in the South China Sea illustrate that when the water depth is 1 km and distance is 5–8 km,the echo of target is 40 m underwater,there are three highlight clusters with a time interval of about 0.3 s,with the error range of target depth matching estimation being 0–65 m. 展开更多
