Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Banxia Atractylodes macrocephala Tianma decoction in the treatment of hypertension.Methods:A total of 100 patients with hypertension were selected from our hospital(April 20...Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Banxia Atractylodes macrocephala Tianma decoction in the treatment of hypertension.Methods:A total of 100 patients with hypertension were selected from our hospital(April 2016 to July 2019)and divided into 2 groups by random digital method.The control group was given routine symptomatic treatment of western medicine,and the observation group was given Banxia Atractylodes Gastrodia decoction on the basis of the control group.the levels of syndrome score and adiponectin(apn),cysc(cysc),uric acid(ua),c-reactive protein(crp),superoxide dismutase(sod),malondialdehyde(mda),8-hydroxydeoxyguanylic acid(8-ohdg)were recorded before and after treatment in group 2,and the total effective rate of clinical treatment was counted in group 2.Results:After treatment,the total effective rate(92.00%)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(74.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The APN、SOD level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group after treatment,and the CysC、UA、CRP、MDA、8-OHdG level and TCM symptom score were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Rhizoma Pinelliae and Rhizoma Gastrodiae decoction for treating hypertension can relieve oxidative stress injury,adjust the expression level of APN,CysC,CRP and UA,and improve the symptoms and improve the curative effect.展开更多
Objective:Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction(半夏白术天麻汤,BBTD)combined with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction(血府逐瘀汤,XFZYD)is widely used to treat essential hypertension in China,but its efficacy remains largely unexplored.We ...Objective:Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction(半夏白术天麻汤,BBTD)combined with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction(血府逐瘀汤,XFZYD)is widely used to treat essential hypertension in China,but its efficacy remains largely unexplored.We systemically summarized relevant evidence from randomized controlled trials(RCTs)to assess the therapeutic efficacy of BBTD+XFZYD.Methods:This review retrieved 6 databases like Pubmed,Cochrane Library,Embase,CNKI,et al.RCTs of BBTD+XFZYD plus conventional Western drugs(experimental group)and conventional Western drugs alone(control group)for hypertension was collected from the database establishment to August 5,2020.And the outcomes included clinical total effective rate,systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),nitric oxide(NO)and endothelin-1(ET-1).All studies’risk of bias were assessed by the Cochrane Collaboration tool 5.1.0.The data was statistically analyzed by RevMan5.3 Software.Results:Six studies with 608 participants were identified.About duration of treatment,4 studies were 1 month,2 studies were 2 months.The quality presented a high risk of bias.The experimental group showed that clinical total effective rate of the 1-month and 2-month was higher(P<0.00001),the systolic pressure was significantly lower(P<0.05),the NO increased(P<0.00001),and the ET-1 decreased(P<0.00001)compared with the conventional Western drugs used alone.However,DBP was significantly lower(P<0.05)at 2 months of treatment.Conclusion:BBTD+XFZYD plus conventional Western drugs might reduce blood pressure,improve clinical efficacy,repair endothelial function,but still need high-quality RCTs to better assess the outcomes.展开更多
Objective:To observe the curative effect of Jiawei Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction(BBTD)in combination with auricular acupuncture in the treatment of primary hypertension with phlegm-dampness syndrome.Methods:120 patie...Objective:To observe the curative effect of Jiawei Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction(BBTD)in combination with auricular acupuncture in the treatment of primary hypertension with phlegm-dampness syndrome.Methods:120 patients with hypertension were randomly divided into a pure Western medicine treatment control group(referred to as the control group)and an integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment group(referred to as the treatment group),with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given nifedipine sustained-release tablets orally;the treatment group:nifedipine sustained-release tablets were given on the basis of modified BBTD combined with auricular acupuncture.The treatment course duration of the two groups was 4 weeks.Before and after treatment,the two groups were evaluated for treatment efficacy and quality of life.Results:There is statistically significant difference in blood pressure lowering between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05);the treatment group was better than the control group in symptoms improvement of the patients(P<0.05);in terms of the improvement in quality of life,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:Modified BBTD combined with auricular acupuncture method can reduce blood pressure and improve clinical symptoms in patients with primary hypertension with phlegm-dampness syndrome,and significantly improve the quality of life of patients.展开更多
Objective Our objective was to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction in the treatment of migraine.Methods The databases of China National Knowledge Infrastructure,VIP,WanFan...Objective Our objective was to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction in the treatment of migraine.Methods The databases of China National Knowledge Infrastructure,VIP,WanFang,Chinese Biomedical Databases,PubMed,and EMbase were searched by computer,and randomized controlled trials that met the inclusion criteria were retrieved.The Cochrane bias risk assessment tool was used to evaluate the quality of the included studies.RevMan 5.3 software was used to conduct meta quantitative analysis of the included studies.Results A total of 19 studies were included,with a total sample size of 1,635 cases,821 cases in the treatment group and 814 cases in the control group.The results of meta-analysis showed that(1)the clinical effective rate of the single use of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction or western medicine combined with Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction in treating migraine was better than that of western medicine alone(p<0.001);(2)the improvement in cumulative number and days of vertigo in the treatment of migraine with Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction was observed in the control group(p<0.001).TSA results showed that Z-curve passed both the traditional threshold and Trial sequential analysis(TSA)threshold.In terms of adverse reactions,55 cases were reported,including 12 cases in the treatment group and 43 cases in the control group,and no serious adverse reactions were found.Conclusion Compared with the single use of western medicine therapy,the combination of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction and western medicine or the single use of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction could better improve the effective rate and showed good safety and low incidence of adverse reactions.展开更多

Objective To decompose and reformulate Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction(BBT) in order to optimize its ratio for vasodilatory effect.The fingerprints of these six component herbs were also studied via Tri-step FTIR ana...Objective To decompose and reformulate Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction(BBT) in order to optimize its ratio for vasodilatory effect.The fingerprints of these six component herbs were also studied via Tri-step FTIR analysis.Methods The herbal components of BBT were extracted separately with different solvents,such as 95%ethanol,50%ethanol,and distilled water.The vasodilatory effect of the extracts was studied using the in vitro pre-contracted aortic ring model.Among these extracts,the water extracts of Pinellia ternata[PT(W)]and Citri reticulatae[CR(W)],50%ethanol extracts of Castrodia elata[GE(50)]and Clycyrrhiza uralensis[GU(50)],and 95%ethanol extracts of Atractylodes macrocephala[AM(E)],and Poria cocos[PC(E)]were selected for the orthogonal stimulus-response compatibility group study due to their high effectiveness in vasodilation.Results The best combination ratio(G2) was GE(50),GU(50),AM(E),PC(E),CR(W),and PT(W) at EC0,EC5,EC5,EC5,EC5,and EC5,with EC50 of(0.06 ± 0.01) mg/mL.Comparison between the vasodilatory effects of extracts derived from G2 and BBT were also studied.From the results,the 50%ethanol extract following G2 ratio was found to be most potent extract with the highest vasodilatory effect compared with other extracts derived from G2 or BBT,with EC50 of(0.05 ±0.005) mg/mL.Conclusion The optimum ratio and appropriate extraction method for the new BBT formulae are obtained.G2 is determined as the best formulae with the highest potency in producing the vasodilatory effect on isolated rat aortic rings.The results obtained suggest that 50%ethanol is found to be the best solvent to extract the vasoactive compounds of G2 in order to exhibit the highest efficacy of vasodilatory effect.展开更多
