In this paper, an approach is proposed for taking calculations of high order differentials of scaling functions in wavelet theory in order to apply the wavelet Galerkin FEM to numerical analysis of those boundary-value problems with order higher than 2. After that, it is realized that the wavelet Galerkin FEM is used to solve mechanical problems such as bending of beams and plates. The numerical results show that this method has good precision. 展开更多

The magneto-plastic instability of a ferromagnetic beam-type plate with simple supports and small initial imperfection is analytically investigated in this paper for that the plastic deformation of the plate with a linear-strain hardening relation is considered when the plate is located in a strong uniformly distributed magnetic ?eld. After the distribution of magnetic ?elds related to the de?ected con?guration of plate is imaginably divided into two parts, i.e., one is related to the ?at plate and the other dependent on the perturbation of magnetic ?elds for which the plate con?guration changes from the ?at into the deformed state, the perturbation technique is employed to analyze the distribution of the perturbation magnetic ?elds in and out-of the magnetic medium of the ferromagnetic structure in a transverse magnetic ?eld, which leads to some analytical formulae/solutions for the magnetic ?elds and the resulting magnetic force exerted on the plate. Based on them, the magneto-plastic buckling and snapping of the plate in a transverse magnetic ?eld is discussed, and the critical magnetic ?eld is analytically formulated in terms of the parameters of geometry and material of the plate employed by solving the governing equation of the magneto-plastic plate in the applied magnetic ?eld. Further, the sensitivity of the initial imperfection on the magneto-plastic instability, expressed by an ampli?cation function, is obtained by solving the dynamic equation of de?ection of the plate after the inertial force in the transverse direction is taken into account. The results obtained show that the critical magnetic ?eld is sensitive to the plastic characteristic, e.g., hardening coe?cient, and the instability mode and de?ection of the plate are dependent on the geometrical imperfection as well. 展开更多

A composite shear wall concept based on concrete filled steel tube (CFST) columns and steel plate (SP) deep beams is proposed and examined in this study. The new wall is composed of three different energy dissipation elements: CFST columns; SP deep beams; and reinforced concrete (RC) strips. The RC strips are intended to allow the core structural elements - the CFST columns and SP deep beams - to work as a single structure to consume energy. Six specimens of different configurations were tested under cyclic loading. The resulting data are analyzed herein. In addition, numerical simulations of the stress and damage processes for each specimen were carried out, and simulations were completed for a range of location and span-height ratio variations for the SP beams. The simulations show good agreement with the test results. The core structure exhibits a ductile yielding mechanism characteristic of strong column-weak beam structures, hysteretic curves are plump and the composite shear wall exhibits several seismic defense lines. The deformation of the shear wall specimens with encased CFST column and SP deep beam design appears to be closer to that of entire shear walls. Establishing optimal design parameters for the configuration of SP deep beams is pivotal to the best seismic behavior of the wall. The new composite shear wall is therefore suitable for use in the seismic design of building structures. 展开更多

Classical bending theories for beams and plates can not be used for short, stubby beams and thick plates since transverse shearing effect is excluded, and ordinary theories with multiple generalized displacements can not be used for long, slender beams and thin plates since the innate relation between rotation angle and deflection is ignored. These two types of theories are not consistent due to the contradiction of dependence and independence of the rotation angle. Based on several basic assumptions, a new type of theories which not only include the transverse shearing effect is presented, but also the relation between potation angle and deflection is obtained. Analytical solutions of several simple beams are given. It has been testified by numerical examples that the new theories can be used for either long, slender beams and thin plates or short, stubby beams and thick plates. 展开更多

A flow diagram is presented to illustrate the procedure of phase optimization by the SA algorithm. Numerical examples demonstrate the advantages of the SA algorithm in shaping partially coherent beams. An uniform flat-topped beam profile with maximum reconstruction error RE 〈 1.74% is achieved. Results show that the measured thermal cycle curves match well with the simulation result. Simulation results of welding residual stress indicate that the values of longitudinal and transverse stress on the upper surface of the plate are higher than the normal stress; higher tensile stresses exist at the end of the web weld toes and in the central area of the flange weld toes. The vibration suppression of the finite plate with square steel beams is studied using traveling wave method. The finite plate with square beams is modeled as the coupling systems between the plate flexural motion and the flexural and torsional motions for the square beams. The vibration response at any position of the coupling structure can be obtained by wave method. Numerical results show that comparing to finite element method (FEM), not only the low frequency but also the medium-high frequency vibration response of the finite plate with square beam can be effectively calculated by wave method. The suppression effect can be increased as the square beam is located at one-third of the length of plate or increasing the height of the beam. The study provides reference for arranged square beams applying to vibration suppression of ship and train structures. 展开更多

Vacuum electron beam brazing (VEBB) technology is used to realize this jointing with capillaries. Firstly 3D finite element analysis model is built in this paper according to this special structure. And then ANSYS finite element analysis software is used to analyze brazing temperature field at different brazing parameters. The calculation results show that the temperature field of simulation has good agreement with that measured by experiment, which proves dependence of the model built in this paper. And also reference parameters could be provided for real brazing process through calculation in this model. Brazed joint of capiUary to plate with good performance is achieved using VEBB technology. The achievement of the study will be applied in aerocrafi in the future. 展开更多

To this end, a nu- merical approach made up ofthe finite element method for magnetic field and the finitedifference method for deflection of the microsensor is proposed toperform the numerical analysis of deflection under magnetoelasticinteraction. Some quantitative results of a case study for themagnetoelastic characteristic between the mag- netic field anddeflection of the microsensor in the magnetic field are given. Fracture assessment of the cracked structures is essential to avoiding fracture failure.A number of fracture assessment procedures have been proposed for various steel structures.However,the studies about the application of available procedures for titanium alloy structures are scarcely reported.Fracture assessment for the electron beam(EB) welded thick-walled damage tolerant Ti-6Al-4V(TC4-DT) alloy is performed by the fitness-for-service(FFS) FITNET procedure.Uniaxial tensile tests and fracture assessment tests of the base metal and weld metal are carried out to obtain the input information of assessment.The standard options and advanced options of FITNET FFS procedure are used to the fracture assessment of the present material.Moreover,the predicted maximum loads of compact tensile specimen using FITNET FFS procedure are verified with the experimental data of fracture assessment tests.As a result,it is shown that the mechanical properties of weld metal are inhomogeneous along the weld depth.The mismatch ratio M is less than 10% at the weld top and middle,whereas more than 10% at the weld bottom.Failure assessment lines of standard options are close to that of advanced option,which means that the standard options are suitable for fracture assessment of the present welds.The accurate estimation of the maximum loads has been obtained by fracture assessment of standard options with error less than 6%.Furthermore,there are no potential advantages of applying higher options or mismatch options.Thus,the present welded joints can be treated as homogeneous material during the fracture assessment,and standard option 1 can be used to achieve accurate enough results.This research provides the engineering treatment methods for the fracture assessment of titanium alloy and its EB welds. 展开更多

目的 提出一种新型倒肋式风机基础,解决软岩地基中采用梁板式风机基础带来的挖方量大、模板支设繁琐、施工成本高、周期长等问题。方法 以2.5 MW风机为例,采用ABAQUS有限元分析软件,建立相同尺寸的倒肋式与梁板式风机基础模型,对比两种... 目的 提出一种新型倒肋式风机基础,解决软岩地基中采用梁板式风机基础带来的挖方量大、模板支设繁琐、施工成本高、周期长等问题。方法 以2.5 MW风机为例,采用ABAQUS有限元分析软件,建立相同尺寸的倒肋式与梁板式风机基础模型,对比两种基础在极端工况下的倾斜率、水平位移、破坏特征等,并结合挖方量、模板工程量对两者的经济性进行分析。结果 倒肋式基础的水平位移为0.444 mm、倾斜率为0.012 1%,均满足规范要求;倒肋式基础的肋梁受力特征与悬臂梁相似,在基底反力作用下肋梁与墩台连接处承受的剪力及弯矩较大,容易开裂破坏,可通过增加肋梁截面高度改善;倒肋式基础相较于梁板式基础土方挖量可节省54%、模板工程量可节省48%。结论 倒肋式基础充分发挥出了倒置肋梁与软岩地基之间齿槽嵌固的优势,相较于梁板式基础不仅具有更优的抗滑移稳定性和受力性能,而且减少了挖方和模板工程量,经济效益显著。 展开更多

轻钢龙骨防火组合楼板是一种新型的装配式楼板,因为自重较小,同时具有较大的承载力,板底板顶附层为防火楼板,具有较好的防火能力,该种楼板作为简支板直接放置于工字钢梁上,支座处无法传递负弯矩,因此在梁顶支座处会出现一条通缝,严重影... 轻钢龙骨防火组合楼板是一种新型的装配式楼板,因为自重较小,同时具有较大的承载力,板底板顶附层为防火楼板,具有较好的防火能力,该种楼板作为简支板直接放置于工字钢梁上,支座处无法传递负弯矩,因此在梁顶支座处会出现一条通缝,严重影响使用效果,同时简支板体系也不符合抗震规范的要求。本文提出一种新的支座处梁板节点连接方式,目的是通过合理连接,实现支座处能够传递负弯矩,由简支变为固结。试验采用液压千斤顶对试件施加静荷载,对11个全比例节点连接试件进行研究,考虑连接件搭接长度、连接件厚度、连接所用的自攻螺钉(螺栓)的数量,以及连接件尺寸对梁板连接节点承载力和挠度的影响,并对节点连接件与C型轻钢龙骨之间的变形协调能力做出了分析。研究表明,本文提出的以Z型钢为连接件的梁板节点连接方法安全可靠,可实现该新型楼板的双跨以及多跨连接。 展开更多

Testing of a Full-Scale Composite Floor Plate

A full-scale composite floor plate was tested to investigate the flexural behavior and in-plane effects of the floor slab in a grillage of composite beams that reduces the tendency for longitudinal splitting of the concrete slab along the line of the primary beams. This is important in cases where the steel decking is discontinuous when it is orientated parallel to the beams. In this case, it is important to demonstrate that the amount of transverse reinforcement required to transfer local forces from the shear connectors can be reduced relative to the requirements of Eurocode 4. The mechanism under study involved in-plane compression forces being developed in the slab due to the restraining action of the floor plate, which was held in position by the peripheral composite beams;while the secondary beams acted as transverse ties to resist the forces in the floor plate that would otherwise lead to splitting of the slab along the line of the primary beams. The tendency for cracking along the center line of the primary beam and at the peripheral beams was closely monitored. This is the first large floor plate test that has been carried out under laboratory conditions since the Cardington tests in the early 1990s, although those tests were not carried out to failure. This floor plate test was designed so that the longitudinal force transferred by the primary beams was relatively high (i.e., it was designed for full shear connection), but the transverse reinforcement was taken as the minimum of 0.2% of the concrete area. The test confirmed that the primary beams reached their plastic bending resistance despite the discontinuous decking and transverse reinforcement at the minimum percentage given in Eurocode 4. Based on this test, a reduction factor due to shear connectors at edge beams without U-bars is proposed. 展开更多

为了探讨铝合金板厚度与端部U形铝合金箍板构造对RC梁破坏机理及抗弯性能的影响,对16根铝合金板加固RC梁进行了4点弯曲静力加载试验。在试验梁底铝合金板的表面以及试验梁跨中截面的顶面、侧面粘贴应变片,在试验梁底跨中、梁顶两端支座... 为了探讨铝合金板厚度与端部U形铝合金箍板构造对RC梁破坏机理及抗弯性能的影响,对16根铝合金板加固RC梁进行了4点弯曲静力加载试验。在试验梁底铝合金板的表面以及试验梁跨中截面的顶面、侧面粘贴应变片,在试验梁底跨中、梁顶两端支座布置百分表。为了推导铝合金板加固RC梁的正截面承载力计算式,基于试验得到的破坏机理,通过引入6个基本假定,分析了5种不同破坏模式的相对受压区高度。建立了各破坏模式下铝合金板加固RC梁的正截面承载力计算式,并将其与引入文献中的试验结果进行了对比分析。结果表明:试件破坏形态包括适筋破坏、端部铝合金板与结构胶剥离、端部铝合金板与梁剥离及中部铝合金板剥离4种情况;当端部设置U形铝合金箍板时,可有效抑制端部铝合金板发生剥离,使钢筋与铝合金板的材料性能得到充分发挥,试件承载力与延性明显提升;当铝合金板厚度分别为2~6 mm时,试件承载力随铝合金板厚度的增加而提高;端部设置U形铝合金箍板可有效防止端部铝合金板发生剥离,但试件仍可能会出现中部铝合金板剥离现象;当试件出现适筋破坏特征时,试件抗弯承载力的计算值与试验值比值均在1以下。本研究所提计算式具有明显的规律性和适用性,可为工程实际设计提供参考。 展开更多

为研究采用碳纤维增强复合材料(CFRP)加固后钢梁的疲劳性能,采用自主研发的具有自监测性能的智能碳纤维-光纤光栅板(CFRP-OFBG板)加固受损钢梁,在完成常幅荷载四点弯曲疲劳试验的基础上,研究不同应力幅作用下CFRP-OFBG板加固钢梁的疲劳... 为研究采用碳纤维增强复合材料(CFRP)加固后钢梁的疲劳性能,采用自主研发的具有自监测性能的智能碳纤维-光纤光栅板(CFRP-OFBG板)加固受损钢梁,在完成常幅荷载四点弯曲疲劳试验的基础上,研究不同应力幅作用下CFRP-OFBG板加固钢梁的疲劳性能。借助有限元方法,建立“三维实体”有限元模型,结合J积分计算方法求解得到加固钢梁裂纹尖端的应力强度因子,基于线弹性断裂力学理论建立疲劳裂纹扩展模型,对CFRP-OFBG板加固钢梁的疲劳裂纹扩展寿命进行预测。研究表明:CFRP-OFBG板的加固作用可有效提高受损钢梁的疲劳寿命,延缓裂纹扩展速率,改善裂纹尖端的受力状态,降低裂纹尖端的应力强度因子;在循环荷载作用下,CFRP-OFBG板加固试件的疲劳寿命均随着应力幅的增大呈现递减趋势。将试验结果与预测结果相比较,发现加固试件疲劳寿命预测值比试验值略高,分析认为,这主要是因为在有限元模拟时没有考虑到试验中CFRP-OFBG板的局部剥离。 展开更多

健康监测对于斜拉桥结构全寿命的安全使用十分重要,而使用传感器采集斜拉桥数据进行健康监测存在盲区.结合Benchmark模型对桥梁结构进行监测,能够在给定状态下,比较和评价不同的健康监测方法标准,对桥梁的设计、运营以及管养等方面有重... 健康监测对于斜拉桥结构全寿命的安全使用十分重要,而使用传感器采集斜拉桥数据进行健康监测存在盲区.结合Benchmark模型对桥梁结构进行监测,能够在给定状态下,比较和评价不同的健康监测方法标准,对桥梁的设计、运营以及管养等方面有重要意义.本文基于背景工程,提出用于斜拉桥结构健康监测的基准模型.首先,使用Matlab建立斜拉桥的鱼骨梁简化有限元模型,并建立斜拉桥的板壳单元精细模型,作为简化补充模型和模态矫正模型;其次,采用正交试验设计,对建模过程中的待修正参数进行斜拉桥动力特性参数的显著性分析;最后,基于遗传算法对模型参数进行修正,提出了动态自适应技术和并列选择的方法优化遗传算法结构,干涉遗传选择过程,并赋予初始种群更高的离散性,与调用GA函数的方法对模型进行修正进行比较,验证了改进后的遗传算法具有更高的计算效率,模态参数误差较小. 展开更多
