The recent inclusion of women drivers, particularly during official working hours, has exacerbated these challenges. This pressing issue underscores the critical necessity for a structured approach to managing university entries and overseeing parking at the gates. The proposed smart parking management system aims to address these concerns by introducing a design concept that restricts unauthorized access and provides exclusive parking privileges to authorized users. Through image processing, the system identifies available parking spaces, relaying real-time information to users via a mobile application. This comprehensive solution also generates detailed reports (daily, weekly, and monthly), aiding university safety authorities in future gate management decisions.展开更多

This paper describes the manifestation of compulsive behaviors associated with OCD at the behavioral level in people with ID in institutionalized settings. The aim was to gain nuanced insight into appropriate understanding and classification in this specific context, and derive implications for research and practice. Methods: Individual cases of people with ID (n = 7) were studied to assess compulsive symptoms through two days of on-site observation of the person with ID within the institution, guided group discussions (n = 28), and semi-structured interviews with key informants and caregivers of the person with ID (n = 20). Caregiver ratings of the compulsive behavior checklist were compiled. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: All forms of OCD were present. Characteristics of compulsive behaviors in people with ID at the behavioral level included less complex and more obvious compulsive acts, immediate responses, signs of tension, motor restlessness, facial expression changes, repetition, need for predictability, time-consuming behaviors, and aggressive reactions when these acts were interrupted. Some of the compulsive behaviors corresponded to the ICD-11 OCD code 6B20, and others to compulsions as a psychological symptom (MB23.4). Conclusions: OCD may manifest atypically at the behavioral level in people with ID, posing significant challenges for accurate classification due to symptom ambiguity. Follow-up differential diagnostic studies are needed to more accurately identify and differentiate OCD symptoms in people with ID. Further, disorder-specific guidelines for recognizing OCD in people with ID are needed for institutionalized settings without psychiatric-psychotherapeutic expertise.展开更多

The authors focus on demonstrating the boundary stability of a nanolayer using the Lyapunov function approach, while making certain regularity assumptions and imposing appropriate control conditions. In addition, the stability analysis is extended to more complex systems by studying the limit problem with interface conditions using the epi-convergence approach. The results obtained in this article are then tested numerically to validate the theoretical conclusions.展开更多

文摘Extreme droughts are increasing in frequency and severity globally as a result of climate change.Developing understanding of species’responses to drought is crucial for their conservation, especially in regions experi-encing increased aridity.Although numerous studies have investigated birds’responses to drought, the emphasis has primarily been on landbirds.Drought can significantly alter the wetland environments that waterbirds inhabit, but the response of waterbirds to drought remains understudied. In this study,we surveyed the distri-bution and behavior of Oriental Storks(Ciconia boyciana)in Poyang Lake, which is the largest freshwater lake in China. Results indicate that drought-induced catchment areas at the lowest water level limited the total popu-lation size of Oriental Storks in the sub-lakes.Sub-lakes with large catchment areas at the lowest water level demonstrated a capacity to support a larger population of wintering Oriental Storks.Over time,Oriental Storks exhibited a gradual concentration in Changhu Lake, characterized by larger catchments, after resource depletion in sub-lakes with smaller catchments.Additionally, the duration of Oriental Storks’vigilance and moving be-haviors decreased significantly compared with that observed before the drought. After the drought,Oriental Storks increased their foraging efforts,as evidenced by increased presence in deeper water and reaching their heads and necks into deeper water to forage, higher search rates, but lower foraging rates. In accordance with area-restricted search theory, reductions in habitat quality resulting from drought, including extensive fish die-offs,forced Oriental Storks to increase their foraging efforts.Sustaining a specific water area in sub-lakes during droughts can preserve resource availability, which is crucial for the conservation of Oriental Storks.Imple-menting measures such as water level control and micro-modification of lake bottoms in sub-lakes might mitigate the impact of drought on the piscivorous Oriental Storks.

文摘Biphasic layered oxide cathodes, known for their superior electrochemical performance, are prime candidates for commercializing in Na-ion batteries.Herein,we unveil a series of P3/P2 monophasic and biphasic Al-substituted Na_(3/4)Mn_(5-x/8)Al_(2x/8)Ni_(3-x/8)O_(2)layered oxide cathodes that lie along the‘zero Mn^(3+)line’in the Na_(3/4)(Mn-Al-Ni)O_(2)pseudo-ternary system. The structural analysis showed a larger Na^(+)conduction bottleneck area in both P3 and P2 structures with a higher Al3+content,which enhanced their rate performance. In each composition, the P3/P2 biphasic compound with nearly equal fractions of P3 and P2 phases outperformed their monophasic counterparts in almost all electrochemical performance parameters.Operando synchrotron XRD measurements obtained for the monophasic P3 and biphasic P2/P3 samples revealed the absence of the O3 phase during cycling. The high structure stability and faster Na^(+)transport kinetics in the biphasic samples underpins the enhancement of electrochemical properties in the Al-substituted P3/P2 cathodes. These results highlight fixed oxidation state lines as a novel tool to identify and design layered oxide cathodes for Na-ion batteries in pseudo-ternary diagrams involving Jahn-Teller active cations.

文摘With a surge in the university’s student and staff population, parking problems and congestion have rapidly intensified. This comprehensive solution also generates detailed reports (daily, weekly, and monthly), aiding university safety authorities in future gate management decisions.
文摘Background: There is limited knowledge about obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in people with intellectual disabilities (IDs). Further, disorder-specific guidelines for recognizing OCD in people with ID are needed for institutionalized settings without psychiatric-psychotherapeutic expertise.
文摘Objective:To explore the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on self-care in thyroid cancer patients. Methods:A total of 144 thyroid cancer patients treated at the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University from January 2022 to August 2023 were selected as research subjects.Using the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an experimental group, each consisting of 72 cases. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the experimental group received cognitive behavioral therapy based on standard nursing practices. The self-care ability(self-concept,self-efficacy,self-care skills, health knowledge level),coping style(confrontation, avoidance, and surrender),and quality of life(psychological function, social function, material life, physical function)of both groups before and after the intervention were compared. Results:In comparison to the pre-intervention period, the experimental group exhibited significantly higher self-care ability, quality of life, and confrontation scores after the intervention,as opposed to the control group.Additionally, the avoidance and surrender scores were lower in the experimental group than in the control group, with these differences proving to be statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:The application of cognitive behavioral therapy can enhance the self-care ability of thyroid cancer patients, aid in better disease coping, and improve their overall quality of life. This approach is deserving of further promotion.
文摘Objective:Based on the theory of“Knowledge,Attitude,Practice,”health education was carried out for close contact with tuberculosis(TB)at a university in Beijing, and its impact on the students’awareness of TB was studied. This study could provide a reference for effective health education interventions among close contacts of TB in undergraduates.Methods:102 undergraduates who had close contact with one confirmed case of pulmonary TB in April 2021 at a university were randomly divided into a control group and an intervention group. The intervention group was given the“Knowledge,Attitude,Practice”health education intervention by professionally trained doctors, and were asked to complete a self-designed TB-related questionnaire before and after the intervention. Both groups performed the Tuberculin Skin Test(TST)and chest X-ray(CR)examination.Results:The rate of the TST test was 18.6%,and CR examination showed 0 cases of pulmonary TB.The survey results showed that the TB awareness rate(96.1%,49/51)in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group(51.0%,26/51),and the differences in awareness rate between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Regarding the attitude/skills toward TB,the prevalence rate of tuberculosis-related attitude/behavior in the intervention group(94.1%,47/51)was significantly higher than that of the control group(60.8%,31/51),and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both self-controlled and parallel-controlled studies showed that the health education intervention of“Knowledge,Attitude,Practice”improved the awareness of TB among close contacts of TB in undergraduates.
文摘Using Corpus of Contemporary American English as the source data, this paper carries out a corpus-based behavioral profile study to investigate four near-synonymous adjectives(serious, severe, grave, and grievous),focusing on their register and the types of nouns they each modify.Although sharing core meaning, these adjectives exhibit variations in formality levels and usage patterns. The identification of fine-grained usage differences complements the current inadequacies in describing these adjectives.Furthermore, the study reaffirms the effectiveness of the corpus-based behavioral profile approach in examining synonym differences.
文摘Objective:To evaluate the health effects of sugary beverage consumption among adolescent students in Guangxi. Methods:In three cities of Guangxi(Nanning,Liuzhou, and Guilin),we investigated the consumption of sugary beverages by distributing a self-administered Functional Assessment Questionnaire of Life Health System and a Dietary Behavior Questionnaire(this paper analyzes only the part of sugary beverage consumption)to adolescent students in four schools, aiming to find out the general health status of the students and also to assess the effects of sugary beverages on the functional system health of adolescent students. Results:A total of 953 adolescent students between the ages of 14 and 24 were surveyed.Among them,46.17%consumed sugary beverages once a week;37.46%consumed them 2-3 times;11.52%consumed them more than 3 times;and 4.83%consumed them every day.The mean score of Functional Assessment Questionnaire of Life Health System was 32.There was a positive correlation between the frequency of consumption of sugary beverages and the overall systemic function assessment score(P<0.05),and the rank of the total score elevated by 0.314 times for each increase in the level of consumption.Compared to those who drink sugary beverages at least once a day, drinking them once a week showed a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).However,there was no statistically significant difference between drinking 2-3 times a week and more than 3 times a week(P>0.05).The correlation between consuming sugary beverages once a week and 2-3 times a week and endocrine system scores was also statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:More than half of the students in the surveyed areas consumed sugary beverages two or more times a week, and the higher the frequency of consumption, the higher the scores of systemic function assessment.Health education on sugar reduction among adolescents should be strengthened.
文摘In this paper, the focus is on the boundary stability of a nanolayer in diffusion-reaction systems, taking into account a nonlinear boundary control condition. The results obtained in this article are then tested numerically to validate the theoretical conclusions.

文摘The formation mechanism of calcium vanadate and manganese vanadate and the difference between calcium and manganese in the reaction with vanadium are basic issues in the calcification roasting and manganese roasting process with vanadium slag.In this work,CaO–V_(2)O_(5) and MnO_(2)–V_(2)O_(5) diffusion couples were prepared and roasted for different time periods to illustrate and compare the diffusion reaction mechanisms. Then, the changes in the diffusion product and diffusion coefficient were investigated and calculated based on scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) analysis. Results show that with the extension of the roasting time, the diffusion reaction gradually proceeds among the CaO–V_(2)O_(5) and MnO_(2)–V_(2)O_(5) diffusion couples. The regional boundaries of calcium and vanadium are easily identifiable for the CaO–V_(2)O_(5) diffusion couple.Meanwhile, for the MnO_(2)–V_(2)O_(5) diffusion couple,MnO_(2) gradually decomposes to form Mn_(2)O_(3),and vanadium diffuses into the interior of Mn_(2)O_(3).Only a part of vanadium combines with manganese to form the diffusion production layer.CaV_(2)O_(6) and MnV_(2)O_(6) are the interfacial reaction products of the CaO–V_(2)O_(5) and MnO_(2)–V_(2)O_(5) diffusion couples, respectively, whose thicknesses are 39.85 and 32.13μm when roasted for 16 h.After 16 h,both diffusion couples reach the reaction equilibrium due to the limitation of diffusion. The diffusion coefficient of the CaO–V_(2)O_(5) diffusion couple is higher than that of the MnO_(2)–V_(2)O_(5) diffusion couple for the same roasting time, and the diffusion reaction between vanadium and calcium is easier than that between vanadium and manganese.

文摘Ionizing radiation can cause changes in nervous system function. However, the underlying mechanism remains unclear. In this study,Coenorhabditis elegans(C.elegans)was irradiated with 75 Gy of ^(60)Co whole-body γ radiation.Behavioral indicators(head thrashes, touch avoidance, and foraging),and the development of dopaminergic neurons related to behavioral function, were evaluated to assess the effects of ionizing radiation on nervous system function in C.elegans.Various behaviors were impaired after whole-body irradiation and degeneration of dopamine neurons was observed. This suggests that 75 Gy of γ radiation is sufficient to induce nervous system dysfunction. The genes nhr-76 and crm-1,which are reported to be related to nervous system function in human and mouse, were screened by transcriptome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis after irradiation or sham irradiation. The expression levels of these two genes were increased after radiation.Next,RNAi technology was used to inhibit the expression of crm-1,a gene whose homologs are associated with motor neuron development in other species.Downregulation of crm-1 expression effectively alleviated the deleterious effects of ionizing radiation on head thrashes and touch avoidance. It was also found that the expression level of crm-1 was regulated by the nuclear receptor gene nhr-76.The results of this study suggest that knocking down the expression level of nhr-76 can reduce the expression level of crm-1,while down-regulating the expression level of crm-1 can alleviate behavioral disorders induced by ionizing radiation. Therefore, inhibition of crm-1 may be of interest as a potential therapeutic target for ionizing radiation-induced neurological dysfunction.
