The investigations have been carried out using the phase equilibrium thermodynamics and known liquidus lines. By the calculation method the solidus lines of phase diagrams of the Cd-Na, Cd-Tl, Te-Ga, Te-As, Te-Cu and Zn-Sn systems were constructed in the temperature range from the base component melting point to the eutectic transformation temperature. In the Cd-Tl, Te-As, Te-Cu and Zn-Sn systems a retrograde solubility of the second component in the solid phase was observed. The temperature and maximum solubility values at the retrograde behavior of solidus lines, as well as, the limiting solubility values of components at eutectic transformation in the systems based on Cd, Zn and Te were determined.展开更多

For these early- type emissionqine stars, we discuss the morphological and physical properties of their low-resolution spectra. In this spectral sample, the Hα emission profiles display a wide variety of shapes. Based on the Hα line profiles, these spectra are categorized into five distinct classes: single-peak emission, single-peak emission in absorption, double-peak emission, double-peak emission in absorption, and P-Cygni profiles. To better understand what causes the Hc~ line profiles, we divide these objects into four types from the perspective of physical classification, which include classical Be stars, Herbig Ae/Be stars, close binaries and spectra contaminated by H n regions. The majority of Herbig Ae/Be stars and classical Be stars are identified and separated using a (H-K, K-W1) color-color diagram. We also discuss 31 binary systems that are listed in the SIMBAD on-line catalog and identify 3600 spectra contaminated by HⅡ regions after cross-matching with positions in the Dubout-Crillon catalog. A statistical analysis of line profiles versus classifications is then conducted in order to understand the distribution of Hc~ profiles for each type in our sample. Finally, we also provide a table of 172 spectra with Fen emission lines and roughly calculate stellar wind velocities for seven spectra with P-Cygni profiles.展开更多

We report on the results of a spectral analysis over the energy range 0.5-45 keV observed by Suzaku in 2006. We extract spectra from five orbital phases. The spectra can be equally well described by various previously proposed models: an optically thick model described by a partially cov- ered cutoff power law and an optically thin model described by a blackbody plus a cutoff power law. The optically thick model requires a covering fraction of about 55%, while the optically thin model requires a temperature of the central source of about 0.16 keV. The spectrum in the optically thick model also shows the previously detected cyclotron line feature at ~30 keV with the same Suzaku observation. This fea- ture confirms the presence of a strong magnetic field. The Fe Ks fluorescent line strengths as well as the detected Fe xxvI strengths are similar to previous Chandra and XMM-Newton detections in our phased spectral analysis; however, we also observe strong Fe xxvI during the eclipse, which indicates a slightly larger central corona.展开更多

The problem is formulated as a nonlinear constrained single-objective optimization problem where the total line loss (TLL) and the total voltage deviations (TVD) are to be minimized separately by incorporating optimal placement of DG units and shunt capacitors with constraints which include limits on voltage, sizes of installed capacitors and DG. This BGSA is applied on the balanced IEEE 10 Bus distribution network and the results are compared with conventional binary particle swarm optimization.展开更多

The 2-day observation of Algol in our Galaxy was done by Suzaku Satellite. Algol binary system consists of two component stars that eclipse one another periodically. The stellar magnetic field activities and Roche Lobe overflow/mass transfer mechanisms during rapid rotation of the component stars generate an X-ray emission. The variation in brightness of the stellar flare from epoch to epoch provides useful information of stellar properties of the component stars. The atomic physics of the Kα line emission process in the vicinities of chromospherically active and X-ray flare stars, and binaries is well understood. The photo ionization/collisional excitation in the Algol’s corona produces 6.7 keV line emission. The accumulated spectra in X-ray Imaging Spectrometer (XIS) sensors fitted combined with bremsstrahlung model and Gaussian line show a strong fixed X-ray energy of 6.7 keV.展开更多

We show that the viscous decretion disks around Be stars are generally truncated ineffectively under the tidal force of IMBHs. Combining this with observations of Be/X-ray binaries, we suggest that Be/IMBH X-ray binaries may appear as recurrent luminous X-ray transients with quasi-periodic X-ray outbursts.展开更多

It works by injecting a modulated carrier wave into the electric cables from one transceiver to another. But still, the noise level and impedance mismatch are still the main concern of this technology, particularly in the low voltage network in residential area. Power line has additive non-white noise and extremely harsh environment for communication. At the same time, there is signal attenuation along the power line caused by the impedance mismatch in the power line network. Even though these problems can be controlled using a band-pass filter and an impedance matching circuit respectively, but the impedances in the power line are time and location variant and it is rather difficult to design a circuit that allows maximum power transfer in the system all the time. Thus in this paper, a new adaptive impedance matching circuits is proposed for narrowband power line communication. This methodology is derived based on the RLC band-pass filter circuit. This concept is designed to achieve simpler configuration and higher matching resolution.展开更多
