In this paper, the boundary element method is applied to investigate the internal state of stress of autofretted tube with notch and the calculated results are important in the practical design.

With a unified deflection serie...A series boundary integration method is given which exactly satisfies the fundamental equation of bending analysis of general anisotropic plates or laminated plates in Kirchhoffs sense. With a unified deflection series, the method may be applied to the plates having different planforms and support conditions. Several groups of representative examples are calculated. The examples include circular, square and triangular plates, and their boundaries include clamped edges, simply supported edges, free edges and free corner. Numerical results indicate rapid convergency for both deflection and stress resultants and demonstrate wide applicability of the method.展开更多

Characteristics of the heat transfer process are analyzed with a more realistic condition named ...The effects of axisymmetric flow of a Powell-Eyring fluid over an impermeable radially stretching surface are presented. Characteristics of the heat transfer process are analyzed with a more realistic condition named the convective boundary condition. Governing equations for the flow problem are derived by the boundary layer approximations. The modeled highly coupled partial differential system is converted into a system of ordinary differential equations with acceptable similarity transformations. The convergent series solutions for the resulting system are constructed and analyzed. Optimal values are obtained and presented in a numerical form using an optimal homotopy analysis method (OHAM). The rheological characteristics of different parameters of the velocity and temperature profiles are presented graphically. Tabular variations of the skin friction coefficient and the Nusselt number are also calculated. It is observed that the temperature distribution shows opposite behavior for Prandtl and Biot numbers. Furthermore, the rate of heating/cooling is higher for both the Prandtl and Biot numbers.展开更多

The space area of the fracture system is the reservoir reconstruction volume of shale gas reservoir. The geometric parameters such as crack length, crack width, crack height, and characteristic parameters such as crack permeability and fracture conductivity proposed for a single crack in conventional fracturing are insufficient to describe and characterize the complex network fracture system after volume fracturing. In this paper, the discrete fracture modeling method is used to establish the volume fracturing network fracture model of horizontal wells in shale gas reservoir by using the random modeling method within the determined reservoir space. The model is random and selective, and can fully provide different forms of volume fracturing fracture expansion, such as conventional fracture morphology, line network model and arbitrarily distributed network fractures. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the development plan and stimulation plan of shale gas reservoir, and have important reference value and significance for other unconventional gas reservoir fracturing.展开更多

Therefore, this method is improved by analyzing the application condition and proposing the selection principle of the series truncation number. The argument interval can be adjusted with the wavenumber factor. Therefore, the problem of unstable numeration and poor precision can be solved, and the application scope of this method is expanded. The numerical example of acoustic radiation shows that the improved method is correct for acoustic analysis in wider frequency band with less series truncation number and computation amount.展开更多
