In this paper we provide a unified framework for consensus tracking of leader-follower multi-agent systems with measurement noises based on sampled data with a general sampling delay. First, a stochastic bounded consensus tracking protocol based on sampled data with a general sampling delay is presented by employing the delay decomposition technique. Then, necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for guaranteeing leader-follower multi-agent systems with measurement noises and a time-varying reference state to achieve mean square bounded consensus tracking. The obtained results cover no sampling delay, a small sampling delay and a large sampling delay as three special cases. Last, simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. 展开更多

In deep space exploration,it is necessary to improve the accuracy of frequency measurement to meet the requirements of precise orbit determination and various scientific studies.A phase detector is one of the key modules that restricts the tracking performance of phase-locked loop(PLL).Based on the phase relationship between adjacent signals in the time domain,a novel phase detector is presented to replace the arctangent phase detector.The new PLL,which is a closed loop signal correlation algorithm,shows good performance in tracking signals with high precision and the tracking accuracy of frequency of1 second integration is close to Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB)when setting proper parameters.Actual data processing results further illustrate the excellent performance of the novel PLL. 展开更多

This paper presents explicit formulae giving tight upper and lower bounds on the expectations of alpha-unimodal random variables having a known range and given set of moments. Such bounds can be useful in ordering of random variables in terms of risk and in PERT analysis where there is only incomplete stochastic information concerning the variables under investigation. Explicit closed form solutions are also given involving alpha-unimodal random variables having a known mean for two particularly important measures of risk—the squared distance or variance, and the absolute deviation. In addition, optimal tight bounds are given for the probability of ruin in the collective risk model when the severity distribution has an alpha-unimodal distribution with known moments. 展开更多

A robust finite-horizon Kalman filter is designed for linear discrete-time systems subject to norm-bounded uncertainties in the modeling parameters and missing measurements.The missing measurements were described by a binary switching sequence satisfying a conditional probability distribution,the commonest cases in engineering,such that the expectation of the measurements could be utilized during the iteration process.To consider the uncertainties in the system model,an upperbound for the estimation error covariance was obtained since its real value was unaccessible.Our filter scheme is on the basis of minimizing the obtained upper bound where we refer to the deduction of a classic Kalman filter thus calculation of the derivatives are avoided.Simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

Scale-controlling and technology-upgrading measures are considered effective for mitigating vehicle exhaust emissions.This study investigated the impacts of fuel consumption and vehicle quantities on the total factor inefficiency in China’s highway transport sector during 2011-2015,based on the Bounded Adjusted Measure Data Envelopment Analysis(BAM-DEA)model combined with natural and managerial disposability scenarios.The results showed that the average global inefficiency(GIE)score of the exhaust emissions(CO,HC,NOx,and PM)was 0.41 under the assumption of natural disposability and 0.23 in the managerial disposability situation.Moreover,the main causes of total factor inefficiency scores from the perspective of natural disposability were road length,fuel consumption,and exhaust emissions,whereas those from a managerial disposability perspective were road length and exhaust emissions.These two results suggested that environmental efficiency can be promoted by increasing the quantities of clean-energy vehicles and high-quality gasoline/diesel consumption.In terms of the spatial distribution of GIE,the scores showed a decreasing trend from China’s northwestern inland regions to its southeastern coastal regions under both natural and managerial disposability.Environmental efficiency in some provinces(such as Yunnan)demonstrated good progress under managerial disposability,but other regions did not(such as Hebei and Ningxia).Thus,each province should choose appropriate strategies regarding vehicle quantities and fuel consumption according to the technical inefficiency scores of differing disposability situations. 展开更多
