Analysis of English Humor in Two Broke Girls from the Perspective of Cooperative Principle

Humor,as a language art,is considered to be an indispensable form of communication in our daily life.This paper,from the perspective of cooperative principle,takes 8 humorous conversations from the popular sitcom Two Broke Girls as analytical materials to analyze English humor.The humorous effects produced by violating the maxim of quantity,quality,relation and manner in Two Broke Girls are the concrete embodiment of conversational implicature in English humor.The most important part of this paper is the detailed analyses of many examples,which is helpful to the study of the cultural differences between Chinese humor and English humor.Moreover,linking sitcoms to pragmatics can deepen interlocuters’understanding of cooperative principle and the speaker’s implication.As an interdisciplinary subject,therefore,not only can pragmatics be combined with sitcoms,but also applies to other fields.It is hoped that this paper can make future researchers realize the importance of context and delve into other areas from the perspective of cooperative principle.

A Study on Humor in 2 Broke Girls from the Perspective of Violation of Cooperative Principle

One of the reasons why human language is by nature distinct from animal language lies in that human language can produce language arts,one of which is humor.Employing the American sitcom2 Broke Girls as the context and Grice’s Cooperative Principle(CP)as the theoretical framework,this paper conducts a qualitative research of humor with some extracts of conversation from the sitcom,in an attempt to verify the hypothesis whether violation of the CP may lead to production of humor.The finding of the research justifies the particular hypothesis that there exists causal relationship between violation of the CP and production of humor.

A Comparative Study of Humor Culture in Chinese and American Sitcoms——A Case Study of Ipartment and Two Broke Girls

Sitcom is the important carrier of the humor culture,but Chinese and American audiences usually cannot understand the humor in each other’s sitcoms in real life.The thesis firstly introduces the Chinese sitcom Ipartment and the American sitcom Two Broke Girls.Then it makes a comparison of two ways of making humor in the two sitcoms,and picks some dialogues for analysis so as to discover the cultural differences and the reason.The research discovers that Chinese sitcoms mainly pick people’s shortcomings or naive thoughts as topics and rarely talk about sensitive topics like politics and death,whereas sitcoms in America cover various topics;Chinese sitcoms often create humor among intimate friends but Americans play jokes regardless of the status of people.These are mainly related to different histories of the two countries.

Characteristics of American Slang in 2 Broke Girls

American slang is one of the language varieties in American English. The study of American slang can hopefully help usbetter understand English and its culture. In this thesis, some American slang collected from 2 Broke Girls will be generalized, andtheir characteristics will be analyzed. By the analysis of American slang and the features of American sitcoms language, the authorwants to help learners to avoid pragmatic failure in cross-culture communication and improve learners' understanding of Americanslang.

上位锁碰撞冲击分析与试验验证

某飞机上位锁,在使用燃气作为备用动力源进行开锁试验时,发生顶杆断裂事故。经专业机构分析,定性为材料失效导致的破坏。首先根据上位锁工作原理对碰撞接触力及多体运动进行研究与分析,然后建立上位锁动力学仿真模型并进行问题复现,仿真结果与鉴定结论一致,证明了动力学模型的准确性。对上位锁结构进行改进,去除结构薄弱环节,并进行强度校核,仿真结果满足要求后,进行燃气试验验证,修改后的上位锁顺利通过试验考核。本文对上位锁的冲击动力学分析,对飞机其他机构的设计也具有一定的参考借鉴价值,当选用燃气作为辅助动力源时,由于接触力的增大,需对主要承力件进行动力学分析及强度复核。

基于体表标志定位急诊单引流管双靶点治疗丘脑出血破入脑室伴脑积水

目的 探讨颞部体表定位急诊单引流管双靶点丘脑血肿脑室引流术在丘脑出血破入脑室伴脑积水治疗中的应用价值。方法 回顾性选择丘脑出血破入脑室伴脑积水患者223例,其中包括采取颞部体表定位急诊单引流管双靶点丘脑血肿脑室引流术的研究组115例,以及先行急诊脑室外引流,病情稳定后再行立体定向丘脑血肿引流术的对照组108例。对比2组患者术后并发症及治疗效果的差异,评价颞部体表定位单引流管双靶点丘脑血肿脑室引流术在丘脑出血破入脑室伴脑积水治疗中的应用价值。结果研究组与对照组丘脑术后再出血率(5.2%vs.4.7%)、血肿清除率(87.5%±7.3%vs.90.2%±8.5%)、死亡率(13.9%vs.15.7%)比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。研究组与对照组带管时间、术后颅内感染、分流依赖型脑积水、治疗有效、预后良好分别为(75.5±18.4)h、3.5%、19.1%、53.9%、51.3%与(130.8±22.9)h、13.9%、35.1%、38.7%、38.0%,2组比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 急诊颞部体表定位单引流管双靶点丘脑血肿脑室引流术治疗丘脑出血破入脑室伴脑积水,手术安全可靠,可改善患者预后。

遥感影像道路断线修复方法研究

在遥感影像道路提取中,由于树木遮挡或建筑物阴影等原因产生的道路断线极大影响了道路的完整性和连通性,使得其结果无法为基于路网的分析和处理方法提供可靠的数据支持。针对深度语义分割网络的遥感影像道路提取结果,提出了联合道路断线端点的位置、指向、纹理和连通性等多特征进行断点间匹配,并结合三次曲线拟合对匹配道路断点进行优化连接的道路断线修复方法。实验表明,该方法在DeepGlobe Road数据集上F1-Score相比原始结果提升了1.27%、77.04%,较大提高了原始结果的精度和可靠性。且经过断线修复后的结果具有较好的完整性和连通性,体现了该方法的对于遥感影像道路断线修复的可靠性与实用性。

离心式核桃二次破壳机的设计与实验研究

【目的】研究新型核桃二次破壳机,使其在有效破壳率和损失率方面达到用户的使用要求。【方法】离心式核桃二次破壳机利用离心作用使核桃产生运动速度,高速运动的核桃通过与撞击桶发生撞击完成二次破壳。对机具的关键参数进行理论分析与计算确定其取值范围,再通过正交试验初步确定其最优参数。【结果】核桃离心破壳方法对核桃的外形、尺寸、壁厚等物理特性变化不敏感,因此是一种理想的二次破壳方法。在二次破壳过程中核桃的撞击速度是影响有效破壳率和损失率最重要的因素。同时,经过二次破壳后的核桃是否再次与撞击桶、离心板或其他核桃发生碰撞也将影响到损失率。【结论】通过实验研究确定当撞击桶锥角=30°,离心板的转速n=420 r/min,撞击桶间距L=273 mm时,离心式核桃二次破壳机的有效破壳率≥80%,损失率≤1.89%。离心式核桃二次破壳机具有对核桃尺寸、形状和壁厚适应能力强,撞击力调整方便等优点。

黄土隧道围岩的结构性变化特征分析

在分析和修正已有结构性参数的基础上,首次提出了将结构性参数直接应用于工程实践的思路。研究了黄土隧道开挖后围岩结构性的变化规律。研究得出:围岩的结构性参数与径深和洞径密切相关;随着径深的增大,拱顶方向上围岩的结构性参数均呈现出先减小后增大的规律,存在一个最小值。与开挖前原状土的结构性参数相比,围岩的结构性损失在距拱顶约1.7～2.5 m时达到最大。随着洞径的增大,开挖对围岩黄土的扰动增强,拱顶方向上围岩的结构性减弱,结构性参数的最小值变化不大,但最小值发生的位置逐渐远离拱顶。最后,提出了以围岩结构性损失最大为依据判断围岩松动圈的新方法。分析表明,黄土隧道围岩的松动圈在1.7～2.5 m变化。

装饰原纸损纸浆配抄对纸张性能的影响

将装饰原纸损纸回收并打浆,再与原生浆按照一定比例配抄,探讨了损纸浆的打浆度和配抄量对纸张性能的影响。结果表明,损纸浆打浆度为21~46°SR且配抄量低于40%时,可在满足装饰原纸光学、强度、吸收和填料留着性能的前提下降低成本;扫描电镜分析结果表明,损纸回抄有利于改善Ti O2填料在装饰原纸中的分散性能。

东亚钳蝎提取物对癫痫小鼠大脑皮层NMDA受体和GABA_A受体的调节作用

目的研究BmKE对抗戊四氮致癫痫作用及其对致痫小鼠大脑皮层NMDAR和GABAAR的调节作用。方法观察戊四氮(PTZ)致癫痫模型小鼠,丙戊酸钠(VAP,阳性对照)治疗组和BmKE低(L)、中(M)、高(H)剂量治疗组小鼠癫痫发作的潜伏期,应用同位素3H分别标记MK-801和Muc imol,检测小鼠大脑皮层NMDAR和GABAAR的结合活性。结果BmKE(M)能显著延长PTZ致癫痫小鼠的发作潜伏期(P<0.05),BmKE(L)作用很小,BmKE(H)治疗组癫痫小鼠发作潜伏期的延长值比BmKE(M)治疗组低。PTZ显著升高致痫小鼠大脑皮层的NMDAR结合活性(P<0.05),BmKE(L)治疗组小鼠大脑皮层NMDAR结合活性降低,但是无显著性差异,BmKE(M)和BmKE(H)均极显著降低癫痫小鼠大脑皮层NMDAR结合活性(P<0.001)。BmKE(L)和BmKE(H)显著提高GABAAR结合活性(P<0.05),BmKE(M)极显著提高GABAAR结合活性(P<0.001)。结论适量的BmKE能够有效治疗戊四氮引起的癫痫,显著延长癫痫小鼠的发作潜伏期,BmKE抗癫痫的作用机理,可能与其抑制NMDAR结合活性,激活GABAAR的结合活性有关。
