Test anxiety, which means individuals show excessive worry, nervousness and anxiety in examination contexts, is becoming a more and more common phenomenon. A moderate level of test anxiety will motivate students while...Test anxiety, which means individuals show excessive worry, nervousness and anxiety in examination contexts, is becoming a more and more common phenomenon. A moderate level of test anxiety will motivate students while a too high or too low level of test anxiety will influence students’ academic performance and their cognitive abilities. Most present researches are focused on secondary school students or on the final exam of a specific school. Few researches on college students and standard tests can be found. Therefore, the researcher took 255 college students as samples to investigate the test anxiety level of non-English majors, their attitudes towards different test tasks (ATDTT) and the correlation between them. The results of the research are as follows: Firstly, the students from non-English majors are at the lower of a moderate test anxiety level in CET-4 and there is no significant gender difference. Secondly, among the four sections in CET-4, students are most positive in writing, less positive in translation and reading, and the least positive in listening. Thirdly, students’ ATDTT in CET-4 are negatively correlated with total test anxiety, cognitive anxiety and emotional anxiety. The researcher hopes this research can offer some help to teachers and students in need.展开更多
Cu-Mn_(3)O_(4)composite coating was prepared on the SUS 430 ferritic stainless steel by electrodeposition and then exposed in air at 800℃corresponding to the cathode atmosphere of solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC).A dual-l...Cu-Mn_(3)O_(4)composite coating was prepared on the SUS 430 ferritic stainless steel by electrodeposition and then exposed in air at 800℃corresponding to the cathode atmosphere of solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC).A dual-layer oxide structure mainly comprising an external layer of CuO followed by(Cu,Mn,Fe)_(3)O_(4)spinel and an internal layer of Cr-rich oxide was thermally developed on the coated steel.The scale area-specific resistances(ASRs)of the coated steels were lower than the scale ASR of the uncoated steel after identical thermal exposure.The external layer of CuO/(Cu,Mn,Fe)_(3)O_(4)spinel not only served as a barrier to reduce the growth rate of Cr-rich oxide internal layer and to suppress the outward diffusion of Cr,but also lowered the surface scale ASRs considerably.展开更多
SiC-MgAl_(2)O_(4) composites with SiAlON polytypoids(12H and 21R)as the bonding phases were prepared using SiC fine powder,MgAl_(2)O_(4)fine powder and Al powder as raw materials.The effects of the firing temperature ...SiC-MgAl_(2)O_(4) composites with SiAlON polytypoids(12H and 21R)as the bonding phases were prepared using SiC fine powder,MgAl_(2)O_(4)fine powder and Al powder as raw materials.The effects of the firing temperature and the mass ratio of SiC to MgAl_(2)O_(4) on the formation of SiAlON polytypoids as well as on the properties of samples were studied.The formation mechanism of SiAlON polytypoids was discussed.The results show that firing at 1650℃in the nitrogen atmosphere,SiC-MgAl_(2)O_(4) composites with SiAlON polytypoids can be obtained.With the gradual increase of the mass ratio of SiC to MgAl_(2)O_(4) in the raw materials,12H forms first,and then coexists with 21H,finally,all 12H converts into 21R in samples.Both phases are plate crystals with flat and smooth edges.Compared with 21R,12H is conducive to improving the density and the cold mechanical properties of materials.After firing at 1650℃in the nitrogen atmosphere,with the mass ratio of SiC to MgAl_(2)O_(4) of 6:4,the sample has the cold modulus of rupture of 27 MPa,showing the optimal performance.展开更多
This qualitative research study attempts to discover the real thinking process of learners who are native Chinese speakers in Academic English Writing(AEW)through interviews.Introspecting an EFL learner’s thinking pr...This qualitative research study attempts to discover the real thinking process of learners who are native Chinese speakers in Academic English Writing(AEW)through interviews.Introspecting an EFL learner’s thinking process in English writing is based on two theories:critical period hypothesis and translanguaging.The results of the study indicate that translanguaging has a positive impact on the English CET-4 writing of learners who lack proficiency in English.For those learners who lack proficiency in the second language,translanguaging is an effective auxiliary tool for them to complete AEW.展开更多
