EDCMS:A Content Management System for Engineering Documents

Engineers often need to look for the right pieces of information by sifting through long engineering documents, It is a very tiring and time-consuming job. To address this issue, researchers are increasingly devoting their attention to new ways to help information users, including engineers, to access and retrieve document content. The research reported in this paper explores how to use the key technologies of document decomposition （study of document structure）, document mark-up （with EXtensible Mark- up Language （XML）, HyperText Mark-up Language （HTML）, and Scalable Vector Graphics （SVG））, and a facetted classification mechanism. Document content extraction is implemented via computer programming （with Java）. An Engineering Document Content Management System （EDCMS） developed in this research demonstrates that as information providers we can make document content in a more accessible manner for information users including engineers.The main features of the EDCMS system are： 1） EDCMS is a system that enables users, especially engineers, to access and retrieve information at content rather than document level. In other words, it provides the right pieces of information that answer specific questions so that engineers don＇t need to waste time sifting through the whole document to obtain the required piece of information. 2） Users can use the EDCMS via both the data and metadata of a document to access engineering document content. 3） Users can use the EDCMS to access and retrieve content objects, i.e. text, images and graphics （including engineering drawings） via multiple views and at different granularities based on decomposition schemes. Experiments with the EDCMS have been conducted on semi-structured documents, a textbook of CADCAM, and a set of project posters in the Engineering Design domain. Experimental results show that the system provides information users with a powerful solution to access document content.

甘蓝型油菜高亚麻酸CMS的快速选育方法及效果研究

为了加速甘蓝型油菜高亚麻酸杂交育种进程。以高亚麻酸油菜种质为试验材料,采用快速选育方法进行油菜高亚麻酸CMS及保持系的选育。结果表明:选育周期从5~6年缩短为4年,亚麻酸含量由11.85%提升至16.96%,含油量由45.0%提升至48.8%,单株亚麻酸产出量由0.98 g提升至1.53 g。与原CMS(陕6A)相比,“YM-1A”的含油量、单株产量、亚麻酸含量、异交结实系数、单株亚麻酸产量分别提高8.45%、4.49%、59.43%、12.8%、80.65%;而自交结实系数降低56.86%。因不育性、农艺、品质等性状显著提高,YM-1A在甘蓝型油菜高亚麻酸杂交育种中具有较高的利用价值。

Comparison of Chronic Wound Inpatients and Outpatients’ Diets and Meals Nutrient Content in Taabo Wound Management Unit, Côte d’Ivoire

Chronic and potential non-healing wounds are a great challenge for patients, physicians, and wound care professionals and the health system. A balanced nutrition intake is essential for health as well as a speedy recovery of such wounds. The study objective was to compare chronic wound inpatients supplemented with food nutrient content with outpatients with their usual intake in a cross-sectional study. Patients’ food samples were taken for chemical analyses. The protein, beta-carotene, sodium, magnesium, manganese, and potassium content prove statistically significant differences. Outpatients’ diets are more diversified than inpatients’ diets, and supplementation diet richest in beta-carotene and in protein. Outpatients have better dietary diversity than those who were hospitalized. The result provides insights of supplementary food as critical issues pertaining to chronic wounds management. However, analyzing bioavailability of nutrient on patients’ blood may provide more knowledge in the appropriate integrated wound management.

Use of content management systems to address nursing workflow

Nurses are at the forefront of providing healthcare services to individuals of all age groups and with varying medical conditions.Aside from the critical knowledge and technical skills from nursing science,advancement in technology has assisted nurses in delivering quality nursing care by streamlining workflow processes and ensuring that data can easily be retrieved or modified.Electronic health records dramatically changed the landscape of the healthcare practice by providing an electronic means to store data and for healthcare professionals to retrieve and manipulate health information in a secured and collaborative environment.But with the nature of data being stored in the electronic health records,nurses still need to organize and process these data into relevant information,knowledge or wisdom so they can provide better holistic care to patients.This discussion paper details the role of content management systems in addressing nursing workflow by providing a mechanism for nurses to be developers themselves,and not just users or consumers of health innovative technologies.By using content management systems as platform for application development,nurses or other healthcare professionals,may be able to address problems with internal workflow without having to incur huge amounts in software development,or having to extensively learn programming languages.

A Digital Right Management Model for Distribution of Digital Audiovisual Content

This paper presents a digital rights management model, which considers the integrated factors including legality, communication security, integrity of the content, and trading fairness. The architecture of the model, the necessary protocol for the copyright control and content distribution, the authentication mechanism which offer consumption registration for content fair distribution, of the model are all provided. The scheme also provides distribution and evidence for using the copyright of digital content fairly and effectively. Finally, analysis shows the proposed model has both high security and good performance.

Secure Digital Contents Distributing System on P2P Networks

In recent years, the file-sharing applications of peer-to-peer （P2P） systems, such as Napster, Bit-Torrent （BT）, Gnutella, have become very popular, with BT offering particularly high sealability and efficiency service to transmit files. But BT does not enforce the access control process, so a lot of unauthorized files are freely shared. In this paper, we proposed a digital rights management （DRM） system for BT environment to solve the serious piracy issue by using lightweight encryption methods in order to he adopted by small mobile devices in wireless environment.

Smart Irrigation System: A Water Management Procedure

This paper presents a smart irrigation system suitable for use in places where water scarcity is a challenge. In many parts of Africa, even when irrigation is practiced, it is manually operated. Smart irrigation system is thereby believed to be a major solution. The paper therefore presents a smart irrigation system that optimizes the available water in the water reservoir thus providing an efficient and effective water usage solution for the irrigation system. The irrigation system is able to automatically start/stop water pumps on the irrigation site based on the soil moisture content acquired from the moisture content sensor as well as the ultrasonic sensor measuring the water level in the reservoir. The measured sensor values are sent to the Arduino microcontroller for configuring the control algorithm. The system prioritizes irrigation operation by determining the number of pumps to be operated at any instance as well as their locations. In this way, different crops can be watered depending on their varying water requirements. In order to implement the design, a laboratory scale architectural model depicting a farm setting with reservoir, direct current (DC) pumps and the control unit was constructed. Experimental results revealed good performance which makes the developed system a suitable tool for studies on irrigation.

Evaluating Enterprise Content Management Tools in a Real Context

Managing documentation in a suitable way has become a critical issue for any organization. Organizations depend on the information?they store and they are required to have appropriate mechanisms to support the functional needs of information storage, management and retrieval. Currently, there are several tools in the market, both free software and proprietary license, normally named Enterprise Content Management (ECM) tools, which offer relevant solutions in this context. This paper presents a comparative study among several of the most commonly used ECM tools. It starts with a systematic review of the literature to analyze possible solutions and then it defines a characterization schema instantiated in a particular case, the Regional Government of Andalusia.

SDN-Enabled Content Dissemination Scheme for the Internet of Vehicles

The content-centric networking(CCN)architecture allows access to the content through name,instead of the physical location where the content is stored,which makes it a more robust and flexible content-based architecture.Nevertheless,in CCN,the broadcast nature of vehicles on the Internet of Vehicles(IoV)results in latency and network congestion.The IoVbased content distribution is an emerging concept in which all the vehicles are connected via the internet.Due to the high mobility of vehicles,however,IoV applications have different network requirements that differ from those of many other networks,posing new challenges.Considering this,a novel strategy mediator framework is presented in this paper for managing the network resources efficiently.Software-defined network(SDN)controller is deployed for improving the routing flexibility and facilitating in the interinteroperability of heterogeneous devices within the network.Due to the limited memory of edge devices,the delectable bloom filters are used for caching and storage.Finally,the proposed scheme is compared with the existing variants for validating its effectiveness.

人才支撑产业与创新融合发展——文献综述、研究框架及展望

人才与产业、创新深度融合是强化现代化建设人才支撑的重要挑战,但人才支撑产业与创新的融合研究进展缓慢,后续发展方向亟待明确。基于文献计量和内容分析,对CSSCI和WOS核心数据库中304篇国内文献和233篇国际文献进行特征分析、关键词分析及内容分析,构建人才支撑产业与创新融合发展的研究框架。结果表明,该领域国内国际文献数量均呈增长态势,但有四层面问题:①对话层面缺少成熟的学术共同体;②理论层面存在理论体系未成型、研究议题零散化、研究对话不完善等问题;③方法层面缺乏固定的方法体系;④机制层面情境导向和实践导向不足,核心研究有待丰富。据此,从上述四方面反思该领域的问题现状并提出后续研究方向。

从技术到法律:AI换脸短视频的侵权风险与规范治理

AI换脸技术的出现活跃了短视频创作,短视频平台的AI换脸视频大致分为“存在原视频作为换脸基础的换脸视频”和“不存在原视频作为换脸基础的换脸视频”两类,前者主要涉及版权侵权问题,后者主要涉及人格权侵权问题。AI换脸短视频领域侵权风险治理规则主要依靠著作权法和民法典的有关规定。展望未来,AI换脸应用在短视频传播领域的治理需要在创作自由与私权保护之间寻求平衡。AI换脸技术应用管理和内容标识管理是消解深度合成技术隐匿性的有效方式。同时,关注平台“侵权者”和“治理者”双重角色是解决短视频领域久治不愈的症结所在。

企业社交媒体平台印象管理策略——基于新浪微博数据的内容分析

互联网时代,企业使用社交媒体平台进行印象管理能够改变受众认知,树立良好的企业形象。探讨企业在社交媒体平台上印象管理策略分类,利用数据爬虫软件搜集新浪微博品牌排行榜前10名的企业微博推文,通过内容分析法得出企业在社交媒体平台上经常使用的具体策略有四种:自我呈现、企业社会责任、道歉声明、辩解对抗。此外,还发现企业在道歉声明中还会结合自我呈现或者辩解进行策略地组合应用。

“财务管理”教学内容的系统整合与教学方法创新

美国情报界数据管理的流程、架构及其启示——基于情报数据战略演进视角

[研究目的]爆炸式数据增长态势下,如何快速、有效地进行情报数据管理是当前情报机构的重点任务。基于情报数据战略演进视角,梳理《情报界数据战略2023—2025》等美国政府官方文件,分析美国情报界数据管理的流程、架构,以期为我国实现数据驱动情报的发展提供启示和参考。[研究方法]采用内容分析、文献研究等方法,研究美国情报界数据管理的生命周期、体系架构,从战略演进动因、指导思想演进、数据处理演进、人才队伍演进四个方面,针对美国情报界数据战略核心内容演进特点进行剖析。[研究结论]情报界数据管理生命周期是数据战略和数据管理的基础,包括计划与任务、获取与评估等6个不同环节。数据参考体系结构(DRA)和参考体系结构框架(RAF)共同组成情报界数据管理体系架构。为适应国际战略竞争形势的发展,我国应当从情报数字化转型、数据整合创新、跨部门数据访问、人才队伍培养、数据隐私安全等方面着力,加速推动情报机构数字化转型。

政产教融合视角下畜牧业经济管理学课程教学改革

畜牧业经济管理学课程是培养高素质畜牧业管理人才的重要课程,具有较强的实践性,因此,应当满足政产教融合的要求。该文首先提出政产教融合下的畜牧业经济管理课程目标,指出目前该课程教学中普遍存在的问题,然后从教学方式、教学内容、教师体系和考核方式四个方面提出改革方案,并制定配套措施,以期为其他类似课程提供可资借鉴的政产教融合教学改革思路。

福建省漳州市水稻物候特征对稻田土壤有机碳制图的影响

高精度土壤有机碳制图是研究耕地土壤有机碳时空格局及其影响机制的基础,相关研究结果可为农田“固碳减排”措施的制定提供决策支持。农业管理活动是农田土壤有机碳发生变化的重要影响因子,但基于农业管理活动的土壤有机碳制图却较为少见。基于遥感影像提取的物候参数是农业管理活动的直接反映,在研究农业管理活动对农田土壤有机碳的影响方面有较大应用潜力。基于此,本研究以福建省漳州市水稻田为研究对象,利用随机森林算法,基于5组不同的变量组合(A组:仅自然环境变量;B组:自然环境变量+早稻物候参数:C组:自然环境变量+晚稻物候参数;D组:自然环境变量+早稻物候参数+晚稻物候参数;E组:仅早稻物候参数+晚稻物候参数),分别构建土壤有机碳含量预测模型。通过对比5组模型的预测精度、预测值的空间分布特征和相关影响因子的重要性,分析物候参数对于土壤有机碳制图精度的影响作用,挖掘漳州市水田土壤有机碳制图的主要影响因子,解析对漳州市水田土壤有机碳有重要影响作用的农业管理活动。研究结果表明:物候参数的加入能够降低预测模型的误差和提升模型解释方差的能力;对漳州市水田土壤有机碳影响作用最大的物候参数依次为早稻季的NDVI增长速率(h1)、早稻生长季节开始的时间(a1)与早稻季NDVI下降速率(i1);三个最重要的物候参数与土壤有机碳含量分别呈正相关、负相关和负相关,因此,采取能够促使早稻苗早生快发、加快早稻分蘖速率和减缓早稻衰老速率的水肥管理措施可增加耕地土壤有机碳含量。基于物候参数构建预测模型能有效提高农田土壤有机碳制图精度,基于物候参数的农田土壤有机碳制图研究可为农田管理提供决策支持,此次研究结果可为相关研究提供理论依据。
