The conversion factor and the anisotropic reflectance factor in inversion process of broadband radiation fluxes have been obtained for various underlying surface scenes in clear sky and for the case of overcast sky. The results demonstrate that the consideration of spectral and anisotropic corrections is essential for the earth radiation budget research using satellite data. The mean conversion factors for GMS are between 2.54 and 5.30. The values of the conversion factor are different for various observation angles, especially in cases of ocean, vegetation cover and wet soil surface. The error of retrieving broadband radiance without considering the difference of observation geometry is about 5.5%-15% for ocean, 4.5%-10% for various land surfaces. The calculated anisotropic factors for ocean and cloud scenes are in good agreement with those estimated from Nimbus-7. For Land, desert and snow scenes, the calculated values in backward scattering direction are smaller than the measured.展开更多

Our calculations are within the frame work of an approximately relativistic theory, correct to relative order , of a two-particle composite system bound by electromagnetic forces, and written in terms of the position, momentum and spin operators of the constituent particles as proposed by Krajcik and Foldy, and also by Close and Osborn. Since the He+ ion has a net electric charge, the total or the CM momentum is not conserved and a neat separation of the CM and the internal motion is not possible. What is new in our approach is that, for the basis states in a first order degenerate perturbation theory to calculate the effects of the external magnetic field, we use the direct product of the coherent state of the Landau Hamiltonian of the He+ ion in a uniform magnetic field and of the simultaneous eigenstate of the internal Hamiltonian h, j2, l2, s2 and jz,?where j, l and s are the internal total, orbital and spin angular moments of the He+ ion. The coherent state is an excellent approximation to the expected classical circular motion of the center of mass (CM) of the He+ ion. In addition to the Z2 a2 corrections to the usual nonrelativistic results, including the small corrections due to the nuclear motion, we also obtain corrections which depend on the kinetic energy (ECM ) of the CM circular motion of the He+ ion, in a nontrivial way. Even though these corrections are proportional to , where M is the mass of the He+ ion, and are small for nonrelativistic CM motion, the results should be verifiable in careful experiments. Our results may also have application in astrophysical observations of the spectral lines of He+ ions in magnetized astrophysical objects.展开更多

Typically two geomagnetic models, DIPOLE model and Inter- national Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF) model, are used for calculating HOI corrections. This paper investigates the effects of HOI correction caused by the DIPOLE model on coordinate time series. GPS data from 104 globally distributed International GNSS Service (IGS) stations spanning from January, 1999 to December, 2003 were reprocessed following up-to-date processing strategies utilizing GAMIT and GLOBK software. Two coordinate time series solutions before and after applying HOI corrections using the DIPOLE model were derived for studying the effects in terms of seasonal variations and noise amplitudes. The results show that after applying the HOI corrections calculated with DIPOLE, the noise amplitudes of the coordinate time series increased, especially in the north and east directions, and the increased amplitudes of the flicker noise were larger than those of the white noise. Furthermore, spurious periodic signals that were probably introduced by the HOI corrections from the DIPOLE model were also found. Moreover, an apparent increase was confirmed for the power spectra of most of the stations, especially in the north direction, and the amplitudes of both the annual and semi-annual signals also increased in the north and east directions. It can be inferred that the quality of the external data sources such as the geomagnetic model might be the key factors that lead to the above results. The results also suggest that we should be very careful when the DIPOLE model is used for HOI corrections.展开更多

Based on this approach, estimations of lowest order corrections were easily obtained. In the non-relativistic limit, the Dirac electron appears as a distribution of charge and current extended over a region of linear dimension of the order of Compton wavelength, which generates its magnetic moment. The e.m. mass (self-energy) of electron outside this region does not participate to this internal dynamics, and consequently does not contribute to the mass term in the formula of the magnetic moment. This is the physical origin of the small increase of the magnetic moment of free electron compared to the value given by Dirac equation. We give arguments that this physical interpretation is self-consistent with the QED approach. The bound electron being localized, it has kinetic energy which means a mass increase from a relativistic point of view, which determines a magnetic moment decrease (relativistic Breit correction). On the other hand, the e.m. mass of electron decreases at the formation of the bound state due to coulomb interaction with the nucleus. We estimated this e.m. mass decrease of bound electron only in its internal dynamics region, and from it the corresponding increase of the magnetic moment (QED correction). The corrections to the mass value are at the origin of the lowest order corrections to the magnetic moment of free and bound electron.展开更多

Because these domes typically deviate greatly from spherical surface descriptions, a variety of aberrations are induced which vary with the field-of-regard (FOR) angle. A system for correcting optical aberrations created by a conformal dome has an outer surface and an inner surface. Optimizing the inner surface is regard as static aberration correction. A deformable mirror is placed at the position of the secondary mirror in the two-mirror all reflective imaging system, which is the dynamic aberration correction. An ellipsoidal MgF2 conformal dome with a fineness ratio of 1.0 is designed as an example. The FOR angle is 0°-30°, and the design wavelength is 4μm. After the optimization at 7 zoom positions by using the design tools Code V, the root-mean-square (RMS) spot size is reduced to approximately 0.99 to 1.48 times the diffraction limit. The design results show that the performances of the conformal optical systems can be greatly improved by the combination of the static correction and the dynamic correction.展开更多

Performances of three methods of coordinate rotation: double rotation (DR), triple rotation (TR), and classic planar-fit rotation (PF) were examined in terms of correction of eddy covariance flux. Using the commonly used DR and TR methods, unreasonable rotation angles are encountered at low wind speeds and cause significant run-to-run errors of some turbulence characteristics. The PF method rotates the coordinate system to an ensemble-averaged plane, and shows large tilt error due to an inaccurate fit plane over variable terrain slopes. In this paper, we propose another coordinate rotation scheme. The observational data were separated into two groups according to wind direction. The PF method was adapted to find an ensemble-averaged streamline plane for each group of hourly runs with wind speed exceeding 1.0 m s-1. Then, the coordinate systems were rotated to their respective best- fit planes for all available hourly observations. We call this the PF10 method. The implications of tilt corrections for the turbulence characteristics are discussed with a focus on integral turbulence characteristics, the spectra of wind-velocity components, and sensible heat and momentum fluxes under various atmospheric stabilities. Our results show that the adapted application of PF provides greatly improved estimates of integral turbulence characteristics in complex terrain and maintains data quality. The comparisons of the sensible heat fluxes for four coordinate rotation methods to fluxes before correction indicate that the PF10 scheme is the best to preserve consistency between fluxes.展开更多

It is demonstrated that the corrected wavefunctions are bounded and quadratically integrable, and the corresponding perturbation series is convergent. The results clear off the previous distrust for the convergence in the quantum perturbation theory and show a reciprocal development on the quantum perturbation problem of the ground state helium-like systems.展开更多

The corrections to the mass value are at the origin of the lowest order corrections to the magnetic moment of free and bound electron.

文摘Conformal domes that are shaped to meet aerodynamic requirements can increase range and speed for the host platform. The design results show that the performances of the conformal optical systems can be greatly improved by the combination of the static correction and the dynamic correction.

文摘Turbulence characteristics of an atmospheric surface layer over a coastal mountain area were investigated under different coordinate frames. The comparisons of the sensible heat fluxes for four coordinate rotation methods to fluxes before correction indicate that the PF10 scheme is the best to preserve consistency between fluxes.

文摘Applying the improved Rayleigh SchrSdinger perturbation theory based on an integral equation to helium-like ions in ground states and treating electron correlations as perturbations, we obtain the second-order corrections to wavefunctions consisting of a few terms and the third-order corrections to energicity. It is demonstrated that the corrected wavefunctions are bounded and quadratically integrable, and the corresponding perturbation series is convergent. The results clear off the previous distrust for the convergence in the quantum perturbation theory and show a reciprocal development on the quantum perturbation problem of the ground state helium-like systems.
文摘The supersymmetric electroweak corrections to the partial width of the decay x2+ → Z0x1-+, including thecontributions from the third generation quarks and squarks, are presented within the minimal supersymmetric standardmodel. With the reasonable parameters sets, which open this decay channel kinematically, the relative corrections canreach the value of ~ -6%. Therefore they should be taken into consideration for the precise experimental measurementat future colliders.
