Balancing family obligations and personal aspirations is crucial for college students in making life decisions.This critical review examined empirical studies on the effects of filial piety on college students’vocational identity and agency.According to identity capital theory,college students need a sense of agency to construct identity consciously and adapt to adulthood.Filial piety may profoundly influence this process as the core value and internalized social structure for the role of being an adult child in a Chinese family.However,no studies have been conducted from the identity capital perspective.This review found that filial piety had direct effects on college students'vocational identity and also indirect effects by shaping specific agency competencies.The impact of filial piety on the agency was more likely to occur through providing normative guidance about adult roles,influencing how college students view family as a supportive resource,and perpetuating parenting experiences.Based on these findings,this article suggested further examining the mediating role of agency between filial piety and identity development,as well as the effects of filial piety on the psychological foundation of agency development.This review suggested enhancing the agency of college students and encouraging reflections on filial piety in career education. 展开更多

Based on the implementation of the new college entrance examination reform policy and the demand of related policies,the choice of subjects for high school students has shifted from the traditional relatively single model of arts and sciences division to the"3+3"model,and the topic of"how to infiltrate the concept of career education in the teaching process of senior high schools"has become increasingly important.However,at present,the implementation of career education in senior high schools is frequently limited,mainly in the form of class meetings,which instills the concept of career education to students.Therefore,the implementation effect is often not satisfactory.Therefore,experiential learning,a novel and efficient learning method,has entered public's view.Based on relevant research literature at home and abroad,we started with the importance and urgency of implementing career education in high schools,and generally reviewed the research status and future development trends of experiential career education both domestically and internationally.The practical and theoretical significance of the research were explained,and relevant concepts were summarized.Finally,strategic suggestions were proposed for integrating experiential career education concepts into biology teaching in ordinary high schools in China. 展开更多

Anatomy Education: Perceptions and Experiences of Nigerian Anatomists towards Contributing to Programme and Career Advancements

Anatomy, a foremost basic medical science (BMS) has evolved in content and context, while remaining the most fundamental BMS subject. Stakeholders have continually made efforts especially in recent time to achieve an evolution of this subject. The primary aim of this work was to study the perceptions and experiences of Anatomists towards contributing to programme and career advancements. Following ethical approval, structured questionnaire was administered to Nigerian anatomists using a Google form. It is a total population study. The questionnaire had 13 sections, with each section addressing a theme that was integral to the subject of research interest. The last section collected free responses as qualitative information. After indicating informed consent, 106 anatomists properly completed and returned the questionnaires. Statistical and quantitative analyses of results were done. The most popular field amongst respondents was Neuroscience (60.9%);followed by Histology or Microscopic Anatomy (53.6%), Embryology or developmental anatomy (35.5%), Gross anatomy (34.5%) and Histochemistry (30.9%). About half of Nigerian anatomists involved in the study had a PhD degree. Training emphasized the cognitive domains the most. Consequently, emphasis should be laid on the psychomotor (skills) and the affective domain (attitude) to improve capacity, competences, and the job prospects of trainees. The consensus was that the programme trained students and prepared graduates as medical educators, scientists, and researchers. Anatomy has significant potential to contribute to development with proper programme design, emphasis on research, teaching and applied services competencies, effective policy formulation and implementation and adherence to best practices. 展开更多

Currently, however, public policy and support for agriculture education is negatively impacted by a national attitude that devalues agriculture education and perceives it as less desirable than a four-year college degree. Career identity is one of the important topics to study the psychological problems of employees,especially after the outbreak of CoV-19.Being a populous country in the world,China has a large number of employees from all walks of life,and its research on career identity has attracted more and more attention.Thus,this study aims to sort out the history,characteristics,and trends of the research on career identity in China through a literature review,which can help more scholars pay attention to China’s career identity research.In this study,Citespace is used to statistically analyze the selected literature from China’s National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)and Web of Science(WOS).The results show that:(1)The historical evolution of career identity research in China can be divided into three stages:germination,development and maturity.(2)From the perspective of cooperation between authors and institutions,researchers tend to do independent research,mainly focusing on the research in the field of psychology.(3)From the key words,career identity and employability are the main high-frequency words.(4)From the cluster analysis,the research focuses mainly include social support,teachers’career identity,influencing factors,and job involvement.(5)From the emergent analysis,it can be seen that the research on roles and differences between urban and rural areas is weakening,and the research on factors such as job satisfaction is gradually strengthening as the frontier theme.Finally,according to the existing analysis results,this study predicts the future trend of career identity in China and thinks that it will extend from the fields of concept explanation,interdisciplinary research,scientific research tools,and so on. 展开更多

博士生职业发展从单一到多元是社会发展的产物。从国内外现状看,博士生职业发展多样化缘于学术劳动力市场中精英学术岗位供需失衡、学术职位稳定性下降的“推力”与非学术劳动力市场中对高层次人才需求日益增长的“拉力”等现实因素的... 博士生职业发展从单一到多元是社会发展的产物。从国内外现状看,博士生职业发展多样化缘于学术劳动力市场中精英学术岗位供需失衡、学术职位稳定性下降的“推力”与非学术劳动力市场中对高层次人才需求日益增长的“拉力”等现实因素的共同作用。然而,由于博士生学术身份固化下的择业取向单一、高校培养观念滞后下的教育支持单一、职业预期定向下的学生智能单一等问题,至今大多数博士毕业生依然囿于学术职位。本研究通过分析美国大学协会的“博士生教育倡议”项目实践,借鉴项目中试点高校通过理念更新、数据透明、机制革新、资源整合为博士生职业发展多样化提供教育支持的成功经验,针对我国博士生教育的实际情况,提出以“新定位”拓宽培养目标、以“数字化”打开求职渠道、以“强机制”助力个性化培养、以“广合作”推动资源整合等教育支持策略。 展开更多

多源流理论为解释政策过程和分析政策变迁提供了一种视角和框架。美国职业生涯教育立法政策经历了三个时期:一是以片段化的引导性立法政策支持职业指导和职业生涯发展的探索期;二是以特色化的规制性立法政策推进职业生涯教育实践的确立... 多源流理论为解释政策过程和分析政策变迁提供了一种视角和框架。美国职业生涯教育立法政策经历了三个时期:一是以片段化的引导性立法政策支持职业指导和职业生涯发展的探索期;二是以特色化的规制性立法政策推进职业生涯教育实践的确立期;三是以系统化的策略性立法政策深化职业生涯教育改革的深化期。运用多源流理论分析这一变迁历程会发现:美国时代变动引发的失业危机与传统教育效能单一之间的冲突构成了“问题识别”;职业生涯教育思想在政策共同体中的演化促成了“政策阐明”;公众舆论与政党执政理念对职业生涯教育的影响产生了“政治活动”;马兰德的“过程软化”与打开“政策之窗”则最终促成了“政策之窗与溪流的结合”。回顾美国职业生涯教育立法政策的颁布与调整,有两点值得思考和借鉴:一是立法政策在发展趋势、人群面向、目标定位和功能发挥上有明显变化;二是立法政策规范和保障是影响美国职业生涯教育实践的重要推动因素,而职业生涯教育立法政策的颁布又是特定时期多种因素长期共同作用促成的结果。 展开更多

新高考改革将选择权交还给学生,不仅带来选择空间的放大和决策时间的前置,而且引发高中生对未来愿景的更多期许。选科指导成为兼及学生当下选择与长远发展的重要契机和有力抓手。基于生涯教育的视角建构涵盖选科指导目标之“谐和”、内... 新高考改革将选择权交还给学生,不仅带来选择空间的放大和决策时间的前置,而且引发高中生对未来愿景的更多期许。选科指导成为兼及学生当下选择与长远发展的重要契机和有力抓手。基于生涯教育的视角建构涵盖选科指导目标之“谐和”、内容之“融和”、路径之“通和”、评价之“正和”为一体的“4和”模式,并通过实践运用检验其效用和价值,旨在回应时代关切。研究结果表明,该模式能显著降低学生选科过程中的决策困难,提升学生生涯发展的成熟度,加深其对高中学习意义的理解,促进由表层学习动机向深层学习动机的转化。实验结果一方面验证了生涯教育视角对于选科指导具有正向作用,另一方面也在操作层面检验了“4和”实践模式的可借鉴性。 展开更多
