Ultrasonic-assisted extraction(UAE)combined with medium pressure liquid chromatography(MPLC)was designed for carbazole separation from anthracene slag(AS).The effects of liquid/solid ratio,temperature,and extraction t...Ultrasonic-assisted extraction(UAE)combined with medium pressure liquid chromatography(MPLC)was designed for carbazole separation from anthracene slag(AS).The effects of liquid/solid ratio,temperature,and extraction times on carbazole separation were investigated.When using CC14 and ethyl acetate as extraction solvents and combining with MPLC,carbazole recovery and purity are 75.1%and 95.4%,respectively.The mechanism for carbazole separation were presumed by examining intermolecular interactions such as N-H…π,π-π,and C-Cl…πinteractions.These results demonstrate that UAE/MPLC has a considerable potential as a green and promising strategy for separating and purifying carbazole and other chemicals from AS.展开更多

The Mn distribution ratio L-Mn increases with increasing FetO content and decreasing the basicity ((%CaO + %MgO)/(%SiO2 + %Al2O3 + %P2O5)) in slag, while the P distribution ratio Lp seems to be increased as FetO content and the basicity increases. The values of L-Mn and L-p decrease by the addition of Al2O3 into slag. The expression of the dependence of L-Mn and L-p on the basicity and FetO content in slag was obtained.展开更多
This work first investigated the detection of slags,slag pool liquid level,and slag accumulation height in laboratory scale based on acoustic emission(AE)detection,and further tried the feasibility of this method in a...This work first investigated the detection of slags,slag pool liquid level,and slag accumulation height in laboratory scale based on acoustic emission(AE)detection,and further tried the feasibility of this method in an industrial scale coal gasifier.Results show that the energy and variance of acoustic signals can realize the accurate detection of large slag(criterion:E>1.5 E0,S>1.2 S0),and the average relative error is only 0.28%.The acoustic energy in the frequency range of 20–40 k Hz is defined as the characteristic energy,which can realize the accurate detection of slag accumulation height and slag pool liquid level,and the average relative error is only 3.94%.Furthermore,AE detection also realize accurate detection of large slag in an industrial scale gasifier and the acoustic signals at slag screen can be used to realize the early warning of the slag collapse(5 h earlier).展开更多
Ternesite(4CaO·2SiO_(2)·CaSO_(4))-Ye’elimite(3CaO·3Al_(2)O_(3)·CaSO_(4))(simplified as TY)cement clinker was successfully prepared from steel slag at 1200℃in this study.XRD,TG/DSC and SEM were us...Ternesite(4CaO·2SiO_(2)·CaSO_(4))-Ye’elimite(3CaO·3Al_(2)O_(3)·CaSO_(4))(simplified as TY)cement clinker was successfully prepared from steel slag at 1200℃in this study.XRD,TG/DSC and SEM were used to analyze the mineral composition and hydration products of the TY clinker.The sintering process and hydration mechanism of the TY clinker were investigated.Results show that a large amount of ternesite and ye’elimite have been formed at 1200℃,while ternesite has not been decomposed.Clinker minerals include ternesite,ye’elimite,gypsum and a small amount of iron phase.Iron phase from steel slag can promote the formation of liquid phase with the presence of gypsum at 1200℃and thus lead to the coexistence of ternesite and ye’elimite.The compressive strength of TY cement cured at 28 d is 59.5 MPa,which is higher than that of P.II 42.5 cement.This research provides a sustainable and energy-effective way for the reutilization of steel slag,an otherwise valueless waste.展开更多
