Objective For the inverters used in UPS, it is important to maintain the pure sinusoidal AC output voltage waveform over all loading conditions and transients. Methods A novel sinusoidal output voltage control strategy is pregented in this paper. The output voltage is controlled by introducing filtering eapacitor current feedback. Two simple PI regulators are used for the current and voltage control loops. Results With the new control strategy, the inverter achieves very low output voltage distortion, good output voltage regulation and strong perturbation rejection, fast dynamic response, and good performance under nonlinear loads. The THD under capacitance rectifying load is better than 0.2%, the output voltage regulation within 0 to full load is less than 0.1%. The resting time under load transient is within 200?μ s . Conclusion The merits of the new control strategy include rapid response and good steady state stiffness. 展开更多

To miniaturize a very low level dc current amplifier and to improve its output response speed, the switched capacitor negative feedback circuit (SCNF), instead of the conventionally used high-ohmage resistor, is presented in this paper. In our system, a switched capacitor filter (SCF) and an offset controller are also used to decrease vibrations and offset voltage at the output of the amplifier using SCNF. The theoretical output voltage of the very low level dc current amplifier using SCNF is obtained. The experimental results show that the unnecessary components of the amplifier’s output are much decreased, and that the response speed of the amplifier with both the SCNF and SCF is faster than that using high-ohmage resistor. 展开更多

随着电网容量和密度的增大,系统单相接地时电容电流越来越大,因此准确计算电网电容电流十分必要。该文针对传统信号注入法存在的集中电容模型等效准确性不足、系统自然谐振频率过低、谐振频率搜索时存在偏差且搜索时间过长等问题进行分... 随着电网容量和密度的增大,系统单相接地时电容电流越来越大,因此准确计算电网电容电流十分必要。该文针对传统信号注入法存在的集中电容模型等效准确性不足、系统自然谐振频率过低、谐振频率搜索时存在偏差且搜索时间过长等问题进行分析与改进。首先,分析传统信号注入法产生的误差,结合中压配电网的频率特性,提出改进的单端口等效模型。然后,人为串联电容,解决谐振频率过低导致的励磁支路分流问题。最后,基于相位比较提出谐振频率的二分搜索法,降低搜索次数。改进的信号注入法计算电网电容误差为9.77%,传统方法误差为27.62%;现场实测电流绝对误差值降低3.65 A,超标率降低40%。改进的信号注入法可以有效降低计算电网电容的误差。 展开更多

Buck型逆变器的电感电流瞬时值反馈控制和电容电流瞬时值反馈控制存在本质区别。以差动正激直流斩波器型高频环节逆变器为例,采用理论推导方法,研究这两种电流控制逆变器的稳定性、输出外特性、短路能力、输出功率特性、带非线性负载能力及动态响应特性。研究结果表明,电感电流瞬时值反馈控制逆变器具有电感电流和输出功率受限、较强的过载和短路能力、较软的输出外特性、较弱的带非线性负载能力、较差的动态响应等特点;而电容电流瞬时值反馈控制逆变器具有电感电流和输出功率不受限、较弱的过载能力、无短路能力、硬的输出外特性、较强的带非线性负载能力、较好的动态响应等特点。研究成果为Buck型逆变器电流型控制策略的选择及其设计提供重要的理论依据。 展开更多

Growth and passivation of tunnels within Al foil by on-off controlling DC etching in 6 wt.% HCI solution has been investigated. It was found that, in a given etchant solution at a special temperature, the longest tunnel length was only a function of the turn-on interval of DC. The potential of Al foil broke at on-off controlling DC by the result from anode polarization curves and potential-time (E-t) responding curves. When DC was switched on, the potential increased abruptly over pitting potential, leading to nucleation of pits at the surface and the growth of tunnels at special length. When DC was switched off, the potential decreased rapidly to a passive value, leading to stoppage of nucleation and death of tunnels. By this way, the longest tunnel length can be controlled and a non-piercing layer can be obtained. Hence, etching of Al foil at this current is beneficial for maintaining a good mechanical strength. 展开更多

To improve the vehicle dynamic performance and ultra-capacitor operating circumstance,this paper studied the multi-current-two-quadrant converter applied to drive high power DC motor in ultra-capacitor electric bus(UCEB).Compared with normal current-two-quadrant converter,the multi-current-two-quadrant converter can reduce the motor armature current ripple and the ultra-capacitor current ripple.Moreover,it improves power capabilities,reliability and fault tolerant capability of driving system.After analyzing the structure and working principle of the multi-current-two-quadrant converter,the expressions of armature current ripple and the quantitative relationships between the ultra-capacitor power loss and duty cycle were derived.The simulation and experimental results showed that the multi-current-two-quadrant converter has great advantages in reducing the armature current ripple and ultra-capacitor power loss,which can improve the vehicle performance and overall efficiency. 展开更多

The main purpose of the electrical power system is to transport and distribute energy generated by the central power plants in a safe and reliable manner to the customer premises. Most of the electrical equipment is exposed within the open which suggests they can be vulnerable to lightning strikes, road dwindling, windstorms, and a few engineering activities with the potential of causing different degrees of damage to the electrical equipment. One of the ways to guard the equipment is to deploy switching devices. However, the operations of most of these switching devices produce oscillatory transient in the electrical transmission and distribution systems which result in voltage, current, and frequency fluctuations in the load. This paper investigates the effect of switching devices on power quality and proposes a positive sequence voltage power transient suppression technique that can spontaneously improve the distorted voltage at the instant of capacitor switching using the capacitor line model as a case study. MATLAB/Simulink software was utilized for the analysis on an electrical network model with bus voltages of 69 kV/12.47 kV and 480 V. The results showed that, during switching operations, the positive sequence voltage power detector block produces ripple-free accurate results. 展开更多

Capacitancevoltage and gate-leakage properties are characterized and compared. The results indicate that the NO-annealed sample exhibits the lowest interface-state and dielectric-charge densities and best device reliability. This is attributed to the fact that nitridation can create strong Si≡N bonds to passivate dangling Si bonds and replace strained Si-O bonds, thus the sample forms a hardened dielectric/Si interface with high reliability. 展开更多

This paper describes a very low level dc current amplifier using switched capacitor (SC) circuit to miniaturize and improve its output response speed, instead of the conventionally used high-oh-mage resistor. A switched capacitor filter (SCF) and an offset controller are also used to decrease vibrations and offset voltage at the output of the amplifier. The simulation results show that the parasitic capacitances that are distributed to the input portion of the amplifier have some effect on offset voltage. From the experimental results, it is seen that the duty ratio of the clock cycle of SC circuit should be in the range from 0.05 to 0.70. It is suggested that the proposed very low level dc current amplifier using SC circuit is an effective way to obtain both a faster output response and its miniaturization. 展开更多

AHfO2/n–In Al As MOS-capacitor has the advantage of reducing the serious gate leakage current when it is adopted in In As/Al Sb HEMT instead of the conventional Schottky-gate. In this paper, three kinds of Hf O2/n–InAlAs MOS-capacitor samples with different Hf O2 thickness values of 6, 8, and 10 nm are fabricated and used to investigate the interfacial and electrical characteristics. As the thickness is increased, the equivalent dielectric constant ε ox of Hf O2 layer is enhanced and the In AlAsHfO2 interface trap density Ditis reduced, leading to an effective reduction of the leakage current. It is found that the Hf O2 thickness of 10 nm is a suitable value to satisfy the demands of most applications of a HfO2/n–InAlAs MOS-capacitor, with a sufficiently low leakage current compromised with the threshold voltage. 展开更多

多电平有源中点钳位(ANPC)逆变器具有功率器件电压应力小、电流谐波低和器件损耗可调控等优点,被广泛应用于工业驱动中。针对四电平ANPC(4L-ANPC)逆变器的控制与调制研究相对较少,现有的调制方案实现复杂,中点电压(NPV)控制难度较大。因... 多电平有源中点钳位(ANPC)逆变器具有功率器件电压应力小、电流谐波低和器件损耗可调控等优点,被广泛应用于工业驱动中。针对四电平ANPC(4L-ANPC)逆变器的控制与调制研究相对较少,现有的调制方案实现复杂,中点电压(NPV)控制难度较大。因此,该文针对三相4L-ANPC逆变器,提出一种改进的有限集模型预测电流控制(FS-MPCC)算法,避免了复杂的调制过程。首先,使用仅包含电流误差的代价函数对位于六边形顶点的6个大电压矢量进行寻优;其次,对参与第一步寻优的大矢量划分扇区,使用包含电流误差和电容电压误差的代价函数对最优大矢量所在扇区的所有电压矢量滚动寻优,得到目标电压矢量并作用于逆变器;最后,仿真和实验结果表明,与传统的FS-MPCC相比,所提方法在降低系统计算负担的同时,还具有较好的控制性能和电容电压平衡能力。 展开更多
