Chinese traditional filial piety culture has gained widespread acceptance in contemporary social life and has been inherited and carried forward in a variety of ways instead of fading away with the development of economy and society.Meanwhile,under the background of urbanization,industrialization,and modernization,traditional filial piety also faces many new challenges.This paper puts forward the reflections and countermeasures concerning the inheritance and innovation of filial piety culture in the new era from perspectives of concept connotation,publicity and education,institutional guarantee,funding source,and social organizations.

Exploration of the Inheritance and Innovation Carrier of National Culture in the Teaching Model of Art Design Major in Higher Vocational Colleges:Integrating Lijiang Baisha Murals into Higher Vocational Art Design Curriculum System

This study aims to further promote the inheritance and innovative development of intangible cultural heritage in Yunnan Province,promote the protection,inheritance,integration,and innovation of ethnic culture in Lijiang,strengthen the protection and inheritance of Baisha murals in Lijiang,and change the teaching of art design majors in vocational colleges in Yunnan.Given the lack of traditional Chinese culture and local ethnic culture,this article focuses on the teaching of art design majors in Yunnan vocational colleges.It explores the construction model of the cultural inheritance and innovation carrier of Lijiang Baisha murals to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the local people,and efforts will be made to promote the high-quality development of the Baisha ethnic area in Lijiang.

Inheritance,Innovation and High-quality Development of Tea Industry in Xianning City,Hubei Province

Xianning City is a main tea producing area in Hubei Province,the capital of"border-selling tea"in China,and an important starting point for the Ten-Thousand-Mile Tea Road across the Eurasian continent.This paper studies the tea industry in Xianning from the aspects of top 100 counties of tea industry,important agricultural cultural heritage,famous Chinese historical and cultural villages,China’s time-honored brands,major brands,and designated production enterprises of border-selling tea.Besides,it introduces intellectual property resources of the tea industry from traditional knowledge,biological genetic resources,new plant varieties,patents,geographical indications,trademarks,etc.Then,it analyzes major problems in the inheritance,innovation and high-quality development of Xianning tea,especially the border-selling tea.Finally,it comes up with constructive recommendations of starting the cultural inheritance and development project and upgrade project of the tea industry to build the capital of China’s border-selling tea.

Inheritance,Innovation and Development of Wuling Mountain Area in Hubei Province Based on Intellectual Property Rights

Using the methods of field survey and literature collection,this paper firstly introduces the intellectual property resources of the Wuling Mountain Area in Hubei Province from folk literature and arts,traditional knowledge,biological genetic resources,new plant varieties,patents,geographical indications,and trademarks.Then,it analyzes the main problems in the protection and inheritance,innovation and development of intellectual property rights(IPRs).In addition,it discusses the strategy of inheritance,innovation and high-quality development of this ethnic area in the context of the strategy of strengthening the country with intellectual property rights and the strategy of rural revitalization.Finally,it comes up with recommendations including carrying forward and inheriting folk literature and art,protecting traditional knowledge of traditional craftsmanship,inheriting and innovating to develop traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine,improving the protection and use of geographical indications,and strengthening the IPR protection.

Research on the Innovation of Traditional Music Cultural Inheritance

Traditional music is an important source of Chinese civilization and has a profound impact on the origin,enrichment,leap forward,and sublimation of Chinese culture.Starting from the three dimensions of history,people,and integration,it is important to inherit,carry forward,and spread the contemporary value of traditional music culture.We should focus on the inheritance of historical dimension,reposition the unique function of traditional music culture,strengthen the ecological protection of traditional music culture,and advocate excavation protection,purification protection,and promotion protection.Additionally,we focus on the development of the people dimension,adhere to the people-centered creative orientation,grasp the needs of the people,reflect their aspirations,and strive to enhance the timeliness and attraction of national music.We also focus on the communication of integration dimension,leverage the characteristic advantages of emerging media communication,promote the cross-border integration of the traditional music industry and related fields,respond to the focus and interaction of music audience services,and promote the construction of a modern three-dimensional communication system of traditional music.

This paper analyzed the basis for the inheritance and innovation of farming culture in east Hubei from the cultural perspective, pointed out the challenges for the inheritance and innovation, and put forward effective measures to enhance the inheritance and innovation of local farming culture, such as scientific and technological development, harmonious concept, ecological environment, industrial civilization, coordination between new countryside cultural construction and farming culture.

Videos in Improving Farmers’ Innovation Capacity for Climate-Smart Forest and Agricultural Practices: An Experience of Madhupur Sal Forest in Bangladesh

Madhupur Sal forest is one of the major forests in Bangladesh which is also under intimidation of severe deforestation due to settlement of the ethnic people and encroachment for farming. However, deforestation is one of the major factors responsible for climatic change events like recurrent natural calamities and degradation of natural resources. Thus, a pilot project was taken in the forest area by Bangladesh Agricultural University to minimize carbon emission through introduction of low emission agricultural practices (vermi-compost and botanical pesticide) in crop production and to increase women’s participation in social forestry program. It also introduced improved cooker in the study area for reducing amount of fire wood for cooking. Video mediated extension approach was used to teach the people of the forest community regarding the consequences of climate change on their livelihoods. Findings showed that, project beneficiaries are now impressively aware on consequences of climate change issues. Around 75% of them are now using own made vermi-compost and botanical pesticide in agricultural production mixed with social forestry, while 42% of them are using improved cooker which has significantly reduced amount of fire wood for cooking. This is ultimately contributing in minimizing the rate of deforestation. However, the project initiatives have created alternate income opportunities of the forest community people through safe and organic cultivation of vegetables and fruits in the leased land. On the other hand, this social forestry programme will directly contribute in reducing consequences of climate change in the long run.
