Stereoselective glucuronidation of carvedilol by Chinese liver microsomes

Objective: To study the stereoselective glucuronidation of carvedilol (CARV) by three Chinese liver microsomes. Methods: The metabolites of CARV were identified by a hydrolysis reaction with β-glucuronidase and HPLC-MS/MS. The enzyme kinetics for CARV enantiomers glucuronidation was determined by a reversed phase-high pressure liquid chromatogra-phy (RP-HPLC) assay using (S)-propafenone as internal standard after precolumn derivatization with 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranosylisothiocyanate. Results: Two CARV glucuronides were found in three Chinese liver microsomes incubated with CARV. The non-linear regression analysis showed that the values of Km and Vmax for (S)-CARV and (R)-CARV enantiomers were (118±44) μmol/L, (2 500±833) pmol/(min·mg protein) and (24±7) μmol/L, (953±399) pmol/(min·mg protein), respectively. Conclusion: These results suggested that there was a significant (P<0.05) stereoselective glucuronidation of CARV enantiomers in three Chinese liver microsomes, which might partly explain the enantioselective pharmacokinetics of CARV. 展开更多

Students of the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo,through the course Architecture of the Old Age,were able to get acquainted with“architecture carved in rock”,and only a very limited number of examples-the archi­tecture of ancient Egypt,ancient Greek architecture in Asia Minor(Lycia),and the architecture of ancient Persia.Many examples of this architectural expression remained unknown to them:the architecture of ancient and medieval India,the architecture of ancient and medieval China,the archi­tecture of the ancient Middle East(the area of today’s Israel,Jordan,Saudi Arabia),vernacular architecture around the world from different historical periods.As a teacher at the Faculty of Architecture in Sarajevo,the author,after switching to the education of architecture students in accordance with the“Bologna process”(2003),presented“architecture carved in the rocks”through a series of subjects,through all levels of education(undergraduate,master’s and doctoral studies),within the framework of processing narrow­er topics of architecture:constructive systems in architecture,bioclimatic architecture,architecture as an energy system,architecture in context.The complex process of creating architecture and explaining its appearance was elaborated by the author(1988)in his doctoral dissertation.The topic“Ar­chitecture Carved in Rocks”was elaborated according to this model,which on the one hand confirmed its applicability,and on the other hand enabled students to look at the highly dispersed appearance of architecture in an ex­tremely systematic way,without losing sight of its basic elements:environ­ment,man,boundaries and perspectives.The aim of this work is to show(and through examples in Bosnia and Herzegovina)that natural caves,with more or less“refining”,are still used today,and that“carving architecture into rocks”is an all-time and planetary phenomenon. 展开更多

The strength of water-bearing rock cannot be obtained in real time and by nondestructive experiments,which is an issue at cultural relics protection sites such as grotto temples.To solve this problem,we conducted a near-infrared spectrum acquisition experiment in the field and laboratory uniaxial compression strength tests on sandstone that had different water saturation levels.The correlations between the peak height and peak area of the nearinfrared absorption bands of the water-bearing sandstone and uniaxial compressive strength were analyzed.On this basis,a strength prediction model for water-bearing sandstone was established using the long short-term memory full convolutional network(LSTM-FCN)method.Subsequently,a field engineering test was carried out.The results showed that:(1)The sandstone samples had four distinct characteristic absorption peaks at 1400,1900,2200,and 2325 nm.The peak height and peak area of the absorption bands near 1400 nm and 1900 nm had a negative correlation with uniaxial compressive strength.The peak height and peak area of the absorption bands near 2200 nm and 2325 nm had nonlinear positive correlations with uniaxial compressive strength.(2)The LSTM-FCN method was used to establish a strength prediction model for water-bearing sandstone based on near-infrared spectroscopy,and the model achieved an accuracy of up to 97.52%.(3)The prediction model was used to realize non-destructive,quantitative,and real-time determination of uniaxial compressive strength;this represents a new method for the non-destructive testing of grotto rock mass at sites of cultural relics protection. 展开更多

视频缩放是近年来数字图像处理领域的一项热点问题.针对整个视频进行缩放的方法会带来庞大的内存占用与计算量,导致效率低下、实用性较差;而针对视频中的每一帧进行缩放的方法难以维持视频的时空一致性.为此,基于Seam Carving方法,提出... 视频缩放是近年来数字图像处理领域的一项热点问题.针对整个视频进行缩放的方法会带来庞大的内存占用与计算量,导致效率低下、实用性较差;而针对视频中的每一帧进行缩放的方法难以维持视频的时空一致性.为此,基于Seam Carving方法,提出一种逐帧优化的视频缩放方法.首先逐帧读入视频,按照梯度求出当前帧的能量图,并使用高速缓存的置换思想调整能量图;然后根据能量图找出缝;最后使用线性插值的方法删除缝,得到目标大小的帧.实验结果表明,该方法不仅能够在所处理的每一帧中保持图像的重要内容,并且可以维持整个视频的时空一致性,保持较好的视觉效果. 展开更多

旋转机械升降速阶段微弱振动信号具有潜在性和动态响应的微弱性等特点,因此瞬时频率是限制早期故障诊断发展的关键问题.针对这一问题,该文引入了图像处理领域的Seam Carving(SC)算法,并对SC算法进行改进,结合短时傅里叶变换(Short-Time ... 旋转机械升降速阶段微弱振动信号具有潜在性和动态响应的微弱性等特点,因此瞬时频率是限制早期故障诊断发展的关键问题.针对这一问题,该文引入了图像处理领域的Seam Carving(SC)算法,并对SC算法进行改进,结合短时傅里叶变换(Short-Time Fourier Transformation,STFT),提出了STFT-SC瞬时频率估计算法.STFT-SC算法采用STFT对振动信号进行时频分析,然后利用Seam Carving算法中的能量梯度,采用动态规划的思想寻求seam路径,实现了旋转机械振动信号的一阶瞬时频率提取,最后对一阶时频数据进行时域重构,将重构的时域信号和仿真信号进行相关性分析.结果表明,STFT-SC算法对于高噪声、邻近阶比等振动信号都具有非常好的效果. 展开更多

图像缩放技术要求对图像缩放的同时保证重要信息不丢失且物体边缘不发生扭曲。近年来,Seam Carving及其改进算法得到了广泛的关注和研究。由于采用了离散式最小能量线迭代搜索策略,缩放信息无法在迭代过程中传递导致扭曲现象普遍存在。... 图像缩放技术要求对图像缩放的同时保证重要信息不丢失且物体边缘不发生扭曲。近年来,Seam Carving及其改进算法得到了广泛的关注和研究。由于采用了离散式最小能量线迭代搜索策略,缩放信息无法在迭代过程中传递导致扭曲现象普遍存在。该文针对上述问题提出最小位移可视差(JND)检测算法,能够有效地检测每一次迭代中出现的潜在扭曲信息。能量权重E_(w)能够将JND信息累加传递给后续的迭代过程,从而抑制缩放过程中的边缘扭曲现象。通过JND算法和能量权重,该文首次将离散的Seam Carving模型转变为连续缩放模型。最后,在公共数据集RetargetMe上与最新的图像缩放算法进行多组对比实验,验证了所提方法的有效性和先进性。 展开更多
