CdS/NiS nanocomposites were synthesized by electrochemical method. Ni and Cd is one of the important II-VI semiconducting materials with a direct band gap of 3.26 eV which finds applications in electrical conductivity and photo-catalysis. The synthesized nanocomposites were characterized by BET, UV-VIS, XRD, FE-SEM (EDAX) techniques. X-Ray diffraction (XRD) reveals crystallite size to be 23.22 nm which was calculated using Williamson-Hall (W-H) plot method. The energy of the band gap for CdS/NiS could be thus estimated to be 3.26 eV. The photocatalytic activity of the sample was evaluated by the degradation of textile dye methylene Blue (MB) in aqueous solutions under UV radiation. Hydrogen energy is regarded as a promising alternative in terms of energy conversion and storage. Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER) was carried out in both visible light and UV light by using Hydrazine (N<sub>2</sub>H<sub>4</sub>H<sub>2</sub>O) in the presence of CdS/NiS nanocomposite. The synthesized photocatalyst shows applicable performance for kinetics of Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER) in Visible light and UV light. The decomposition of hydrazine (N<sub>2</sub>H<sub>4</sub>H<sub>2</sub>O) proceeded rapidly to generate free hydrogen rich gas through OH radical contact with CdS/NiS nanocomposite at room temperature. The rate of HER is limited by either proton adsorption onto an active site or evolution of formed hydrogen from the surface. A high Tafel slope is indicative of proton adsorption as the rate limiting step, while a lower Tafel slope (20 - 45 mV) indicates that the evolution of molecules hydrogen from the catalyst is rate limiting. In the present case the Tafel slopes for visible light 23.5 mV and 42.5 mV for UV light. Blank experiments show poor activity for HER <em>i.e.</em> 10.1 - 13.5 mV. 展开更多

In the present paper an effort has been made to investigate effect of dispersion of CdS nanoparticles on the thermal and mechanical properties of PS/PMMA blends. Samples have been prepared through dispersion of CdS nanoparticles (prepared separately) during solution casting blend fabrication processing. These nanocomposites samples are structurally characterized through Wide angle X-ray Scattering (WAXS) and Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) techniques. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analyses of these samples have been carried out in lieu of surface morphological characterization. The measurements of glass transition temperature and stress-strain analyses have been performed through Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer (DMA). The thermal conductivity of nanocomposite samples has been determined using Hot Disk Thermal Constants Analyzer. The study shows that the incorporation of dispersed CdS nanoparticles in PS/PMMA blend matrix significantly alter their glass transition behaviour, thermal conductivity and tensile properties. 展开更多

为提高太阳能转化效率, 高效响应可见光的光催化剂的研究十分必要. 本研究以硫化镉、氯化钯、醋酸镍和硫脲为原料, 利用水热法制备了NiS-PdS/CdS复合光催化剂. 通过X射线衍射(XRD)、紫外-可见光漫反射光谱(DRS)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)和... 为提高太阳能转化效率, 高效响应可见光的光催化剂的研究十分必要. 本研究以硫化镉、氯化钯、醋酸镍和硫脲为原料, 利用水热法制备了NiS-PdS/CdS复合光催化剂. 通过X射线衍射(XRD)、紫外-可见光漫反射光谱(DRS)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)和光致发光(PL)光谱等手段对光催化剂进行了表征, 并在乳酸牺牲剂中对光解水制氢活性进行了测试. 结果表明: 助催化剂NiS和PdS能较好地分布在CdS表面上, 形成共负载的NiS-PdS/CdS 光催化剂, 其可见光下的活性比 CdS 明显增强, 当 NiS 和 PdS 负载量分别在 1.5%和 0.41%(w)时, NiS-PdS/CdS获得最好活性, 最大产氢量达到6556 μmol·h-1, 是 CdS 活性的 7 倍, 是 NiS/CdS 的近 3 倍, 测得在λ=420 nm时的表观量子效率为47.5%. 助催化剂NiS和PdS分别起到传递光生电子和光生空穴的作用,两者共负载相比于单独负载, 能使光生载流子的迁移和分离效率更高, 因此提高了光催化产氢活性. 展开更多

光催化产氢技术是目前解决能源和环境问题的最有潜力的方法之一,因此制备安全高效的光催化剂已成为目前的研究热点.在目前研究的各种光催化剂中,CdS光催化剂因为具有较窄的带隙(2.4 eV)和合适的导带位置,所以在可见光催化产氢领域受到... 光催化产氢技术是目前解决能源和环境问题的最有潜力的方法之一,因此制备安全高效的光催化剂已成为目前的研究热点.在目前研究的各种光催化剂中,CdS光催化剂因为具有较窄的带隙(2.4 eV)和合适的导带位置,所以在可见光催化产氢领域受到广泛关注.然而,光生电子/空穴对易复合和光腐蚀作用极大地限制了CdS光催化剂的放大应用.因此,人们采用众多改性策略以提高CdS光催化剂的可见光产氢活性,其中构建CdS纳米结构和负载助催化剂被认为是最有效的方式.构建CdS纳米结构既可以缩短载流子的迁移路径,也可以减少CdS晶体中的缺陷.很多不同纳米结构的CdS光催化剂已经被开发,例如纳米线、纳米颗粒和纳米棒等.因为制备过程极为复杂繁琐,所以CdS纳米片的研究鲜见报道.本文采用乙酸鎘和硫脲为原材料,通过简单的溶剂热法合成了CdS纳米片.在CdS的各类助催化剂中,由于常用的Pt,Ag和Au等贵金属的高成本和低储量等问题严重限制了它们的实际应用,所以近年来众多非贵金属助催化剂(例如MoS_2,WS2,NiS,NiO和WC等)得到了广泛关注.由于非贵金属助催化剂存在弱电导率和低功函数等问题,影响了对光生电子的收集和利用.纳米碳材料具有极高的电导率、强可见光吸收、有效的载流子分离和较多的反应位点等优点,因此组合纳米碳材料和非贵金属助催化剂被认为是一种有效的解决方案.本文首次采用炭黑和NiS_2作为双助催化剂改性CdS纳米片,通过简单的溶剂热/沉淀两步法成功合成了廉价高效的CdS/CB/NiS_2三元光催化体系.光催化产氢性能测试表明,CdS-0.5%CB-1%NiS_2展现出最高的光催化效率(166.7μmol h^(-1)),分别是CdS NSs和CdS-1.0%NiS_2的5.16和1.87倍.X射线衍射、高分辨电子显微镜和X射线光电子能谱结果证实了CdS催化剂的片状结构,且炭黑和NiS_2成功负载在CdS纳米片表面.紫外-可见漫反射结果表明,随着炭黑和NiS_2的负载,复合催化剂的吸收边缘产生明显的红移,且对可见光的吸收增强.荧光光谱、阻抗和瞬态光电流曲线测试结果证明,炭黑和NiS_2的加入可以有效地促进光生电子/空穴对分离.极化曲线结果表明,加入炭黑和NiS_2可以降低CdS的产氢过电势,因此加速表面产氢动力学.总之,炭黑和NiS_2之间显著的协同效应极大地提高了可见光吸收,促进光生电子/空穴对分离,加速表面产氢动力学,最终得到了三元光催化体系极高的光催化产氢活性. 展开更多

The nanoparrticles of CdS were prepared by simple chemical method using CdCl2 and H2S gas produced from thiourea. The nanoscale morphology of the prepared polymeric nanocomposite samples is probed through small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). The SAXS study reveals that CdS nanoparticles take place at voids position in the respective plymer blend matrix and exhibit their nano nature with very little tendency to agglomerates. 展开更多

红辉沸石两步水热制备高品质X型分子筛及其高效吸附Cd^(2+)、Ni^(2+)性能研究

本研究以红辉沸石为原料,经两步水热法制备高品质的X型分子筛,探究了n(H_(2)O/SiO_(2))、n(Na_(2)O/SiO_(2))、n(Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2))、陈化时间、晶化温度、晶化时间等因素对红辉沸石转化为X型分子筛的影响,以及考察了X型分子筛对Cd^(... 本研究以红辉沸石为原料,经两步水热法制备高品质的X型分子筛,探究了n(H_(2)O/SiO_(2))、n(Na_(2)O/SiO_(2))、n(Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2))、陈化时间、晶化温度、晶化时间等因素对红辉沸石转化为X型分子筛的影响,以及考察了X型分子筛对Cd^(2+)、Ni^(2+)的吸附性能。研究表明,X型分子筛的最优转化条件为:n(H_(2)O/SiO_(2))=55、n(Na_(2)O/SiO_(2))=1.1、n(Al_(2)O_(3)/SiO_(2))=0.33、陈化时间48 h、晶化温度82℃、晶化时间4 h。红辉沸石溶解后解聚为低聚态Si物种且在体系中保留参与分子筛的生长,使得所合成的X型分子筛相对结晶度达100%、n(Si/Al)值为1.14,并缩短了晶化时间和降低了晶化温度,其中所合成的X型分子筛对Cd^(2+)和Ni^(2+)的吸附容量分别达到173.553 mg/g和75.897 mg/g。因此,本研究将为天然矿物快速转化为高品质的X型分子筛设计与制备提供理论基础和技术支持。 展开更多

The CoO/CoVO/Ni nanocomposites were rationally designed and prepared by a two-step hydrothermal synthesis and subsequent annealing treatment. The one-dimensional(1D) CoOnanowire arrays directly grew on Ni foam, whereas the 1D CoVOnanowires adhered to parts of CoOnanowires.Most of the hybrid nanowires were inlayed with each other, forming a 3D hybrid nanowires network.As a result, the discharge capacity of CoO/CoVO/Ni nanocomposites could reach 1201.8 mAh/g after100 cycles at 100 mA/g. After 600 cycles at 1 A/g, the discharge capacity was maintained at 828.1 mAh/g.Moreover, even though the charge/discharge rates were increased to 10 A/g, it rendered reversible capacity of 491.2 mAh/g. The superior electrochemical properties of nanocomposites were probably ascribed to their unique 3D architecture and the synergistic effects of two active materials. Therefore, such CoO/CoVO/Ni nanocomposites could potentially be used as anode materials for high-performance Li-ion batteries. 展开更多

This paper describes an investigation of the effect of ZrO2 nanoparticles on the abrasive properties,crystalline texture developments,and tribocorrosion behavior of Ni-P nanostructured coatings.In the investigation,Ni-P and Ni-P-ZrO2 nanostructured coatings are deposited on St52 steel via the electroless method.Transmission electron microscopy(TEM),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),cyclic-static polarization tests in 3.5wt%NaCl solution,the tribocorrosion test(by back-and-forth wear in electrochemical cell),and the microhardness test using the Vickers method were performed to characterize and analyze the deposited coatings.The results of this study showed that the addition of ZrO2 nanoparticles to the Ni-P electroless bath produced the following:a sharp increase in wear and hardness resistance,the change of the wear mechanism from sheet to adhesive mode,the reduction of pitting corrosion resistance,significant reduction in the tribocorrosion protective properties,change in the preferred orientation of the crystalline texture coating from(111)to(200),increase in the sedimentation rate during the deposit process,and a sharp increase in the thickness of the Ni-P nanostructured coatings. 展开更多

The results show that high bath pH value favors SiC nanoparticles negatively charged and high bath temperature promotes them positively charged. Under the experimental conditions, sodium dodecyl-glycol is proven to be an effective surface modification anionic surfactant for SiC nanoparticles. The results also show that the optimized Ni-SiC composite film is composed of the nanoparticles with the average grain size in the nanometer range (100 nm), and SiC nanoparticles disperse into the nickel matrix uniformly. 展开更多

Ni-SiC nanocomposites were fabricated by co-electrodeposition of nickel with silicon carbide nanoparticles on the pure nickel substrates from a nickel sulfate bath with and without the addition of Co2+. The presence of Co2+ in the electrolyte modifies the Ni matrix to Ni-Co solid solution matrix. It helps to refine the grain size of the nanocomposite coating and improves the content of SiC dispersed in the matrix, and consequently results in higher microhardness. The cathodic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) at cathodic potential were investigated in the electrolyte with and without Co2+. A modified cathodic polarization curve with a positive shift in reduction potential and a smaller capacitive loop of EIS are observed. These are attributed to the strong adsorption of Co2+ on the SiC nanoparticles. Consequently, it increases the forces of electrostatic attraction between the SiC nanoparticles and the cathode, which promotes the codeposition of SiC nanoparticles in the matrix. 展开更多

中空CdS/PANI复合微球的制备及其光催化产氢研究

通过硬模板法制备中空CdS微球,并利用苯胺在微球表面聚合制备了形貌良好的中空CdS/PANI复合微球光催化剂.通过调控CdS和苯胺的配比,得到不同形貌的复合结构,利用透射电子显微镜(TEM)、X射线衍射(XRD)、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FTIR)、紫外... 通过硬模板法制备中空CdS微球,并利用苯胺在微球表面聚合制备了形貌良好的中空CdS/PANI复合微球光催化剂.通过调控CdS和苯胺的配比,得到不同形貌的复合结构,利用透射电子显微镜(TEM)、X射线衍射(XRD)、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪(FTIR)、紫外-可见漫反射光谱(UV-VisDRS)、光致发光光谱(PL)、紫外光电子能谱(UPS)和电流-电压曲线(CV)等手段对催化剂进行了表征,并在可见光照射下进行光催化产氢,评估其光催化活性.结果显示,与中空CdS微球相比,中空CdS/PANI复合微球光催化剂表现出更好的光催化活性和循环稳定性,产氢速率最高可达328μmol·g^-1·h^-1,比单一的CdS光催化剂提升了2.1倍(157μmol·g^-1·h^-1).经过5次循环实验,中空CdS/PANI复合微球的光催化活性几乎没有下降.这可能是因为PANI的引入,使得光生空穴转移到了PANI上,而光生电子留在CdS表面催化产氢.这一方面抑制了CdS在光催化过程中的光腐蚀效应,另一方面也使光生电子-空穴对得到有效分离,进而提升了其光催化活性和循环稳定性. 展开更多

The temperature changes in hydriding/dehydriding process were investigated. The nanocomposite was fabricated by ball milling process of mixed elemental Mg, Ni and oxide maganese MnO 2 under hydrogen pressure (approximately 0.6?MPa). The hydrogen absorption and desorption properties of the samples milled for various times were investigated. A remarkable enhancement of hydrogen absorption kinetics and low operational desorption temperature have been found after the sample milled for over 57?h. For example, this nanocomposite can absorb hydrogen more than 6.0% (mass fraction) in 60?s at 200?℃ under 2.0?MPa, and desorption capacity also exceeds 6.0% (mass fraction) in 400?s at 310?℃ under 0.1?MPa. The storage properties of samples milled for various times were studied and the kinetics of the samples were analyzed. 展开更多

结合异质结构建与共催化剂改性,以花球状Ni(OH)_(2)为前驱体,经热磷酸化后得到Ni(PO_(3))_(2)-Ni_(2)P二元助催化剂,借助超声化学合成法,与CdS NPs复合,形成非贵金属CdS基三元光催化材料Ni(PO_(3))_(2)-Ni_(2)P/CdS NPs.以Na_(2)S-Na_(2... 结合异质结构建与共催化剂改性,以花球状Ni(OH)_(2)为前驱体,经热磷酸化后得到Ni(PO_(3))_(2)-Ni_(2)P二元助催化剂,借助超声化学合成法,与CdS NPs复合,形成非贵金属CdS基三元光催化材料Ni(PO_(3))_(2)-Ni_(2)P/CdS NPs.以Na_(2)S-Na_(2)SO_(3)为牺牲剂,在可见光(λ>420 nm)照射下,在不借助任何贵金属的情况下,负载量为8%(质量分数)的Ni(PO_(3))_(2)-Ni_(2)P/CdS NPs复合材料的光催化产氢速率达到4237μmol·g^(‒1)·h^(‒1),为CdS NPs(217μmol·g^(‒1)·h^(‒1))的19倍.在产氢循环实验中,反应进行到第6次循环(18 h)后,复合材料的产氢速率约为初始的89%,具有较好的稳定性.与CdS NPs相比,Ni(PO_(3))_(2)-Ni_(2)P/CdS NPs的吸收边明显红移,禁带宽度降至1.86 eV,并降低了H^(+)还原的过电位,显示出增强的光吸收性能和适宜的带隙结构.通过Ni(PO_(3))_(2)-Ni_(2)P与CdS NPs之间的协同效应,有效促进了光生载流子的分离,提高了产氢活性和稳定性. 展开更多

Ni-TiN nanocomposite coatings were prepared by ultrasonic electrodeposition, and the effects of the surfactants on the coatings were investigated and the microstructure and micro rigidity of the coatings were characterized. Samples were also submitted to corrosion tests in 3% NaCl solution. The results showed that the surfactants had great effects on Ni-TiN nanocomposite coatings. The composite coatings prepared by ultrasonic electrodeposition with the surfactants were better than that of the coatings prepared without surfactants. The favorable properties of Ni-TiN nanocomposite coatings were prepared with the mixing of the non-ion and positive ion surfactants. The concentration of the mixing was 80 mg/L, and the ratio of the non-ion and positive ion surfactants was 1: 2. 展开更多

ZrO2/Ni nanocomposite was produced by pulse electrodeposition and its superplastic properties were investigated by the tensile and bulging tests. The as-deposited nickel matrix has a narrow grain size distribution with a mean grain size of 45 nm. A maximum elongation of 605% was observed at 723 K and a strain rate of 1.67×10-3s-1 by tensile test. Superplastic bulging tests were subsequently performed using dies with diameters of 1 mm and 5 mm respectively based on the optimal superplastic forming temperature. The effects of forming temperature and gas pressure on bulging process were experimentally investigated. The results indicated that ZrO2/Ni nanocomposite samples can be readily bulged at 723 K with H/d value (defined as dome apex height over the die diameter) larger than 0.5, indicating that the nanocomposite has good bulging ability. SEM and TEM were used to examine the microstructure of the as-deposited and bulged samples. The observations showed that significant grain coarsening occurs during superplastic bulging, and the microstructure is found to depend on the forming temperature. 展开更多

利用盆栽试验对胡萝卜在不同浓度Cd/Zn及Cd/Zn/Ni复合作用下的重金属吸收效应进行了研究。结果表明,在Cd/Zn/Ni和Cd/Zn复合污染条件下,胡萝卜茎叶和块茎干重与对照土壤比较均受到显著影响(P<0.05),尤其是含Ni组合,在Ni浓度达到250mg&... 利用盆栽试验对胡萝卜在不同浓度Cd/Zn及Cd/Zn/Ni复合作用下的重金属吸收效应进行了研究。结果表明,在Cd/Zn/Ni和Cd/Zn复合污染条件下,胡萝卜茎叶和块茎干重与对照土壤比较均受到显著影响(P<0.05),尤其是含Ni组合,在Ni浓度达到250mg·kg-1后,胡萝卜块茎和茎叶生物量都锐降(P<0.01)。对比不同剂量下两组合富集系数(EF)和转运系数(TF)的结果发现,含Ni组合中,Cd、Zn、Ni3种重金属在不同迁移界面以及不同浓度水平时的活性不同:在土壤-胡萝卜块茎迁移界面,当土壤中Cd、Zn、Ni浓度分别在0.35~1.8、50~300mg·kg-1以及60~250mg·kg-1之间时,活性大小为Cd>Zn>Ni;当其浓度分别达到3.5mg·kg-1(Cd)、600mg·kg-(1Zn)以及500mg·kg-(1Ni)时,活性大小变为Zn>Ni>Cd;而在胡萝卜块茎-茎叶界面,Cd的活性在任何浓度水平下始终最大,当Zn、Ni浓度分别在50~180mg·kg-1以及60~170mg·kg-1之间时,活性大小为Zn>Ni,但在此浓度之后Ni的作用突显,活性大小变为Ni>Zn。非含Ni组合中,在两迁移界面和不同浓度水平下,两种重金属的迁移能力始终为Cd>Zn。此外,在碱性较高的绿洲灌淤土中,Cd、Zn、Ni之间的交互作用表现为Ni与Cd的拮抗作用,以及Ni与Zn的协同作用。 展开更多
