Language change occurs in different ways and places for different reasons. The social factors which language change is tied to are complicated complex including: social class, sex, age and so on. Among them the first three are seen as fixed categories that remain stable in the research of language change and also are the factors will be discussed in this paper. The purpose of this piece of paper is to examine the language change affected by the three main social factors and the standardization and to provide a clear and helpful overview of the relationship of language change and society. It will also point out the weak points in every aspect therefore provides more insight to the further researches in this field.展开更多
