Construction of Chaoshan Cuisine Culture Space

Chaoshan cuisine originates from the unique Chaoshan regional culture and has undergonethousands of years of sedimentation and development. Chaoshan cuisine has a wide range of ingredients,exquisite materials, emphasis on knife cutting, and a focus on freshness. It emphasizes the original taste anda clear and mellow taste, which is extremely characterized by Lingnan culture. In this paper, research dataare collected from social media and online comments, supplemented by targeted interviews, questionnaires,and other methods. It uses grounded theory for data analysis. Through the induction and summary ofopen coding, axial coding, and selective coding based on grounded theory, it summarizes the physical space,cultural space, spiritual cultural space, and communication space of Chaoshan cuisine culture.

Current Status and Thermal Performance of Traditional Rural Residence in Chaoshan Area,South China(Ⅱ):A Case Study of Pashi House

Pashi house(climbing-lion-type house) is an important residence type in Chaoshan rural area evolved from its traditional rural dwellings,and study on such houses provides effective support for the energy-saving designs of rural buildings.Three typical Pashi houses in Jinpu Town,Shantou City were selected,specifically,onestorey Pashi house,multi-storey Pashi house with Tianjing(small courtyard enclosed by rooms) and multi-storey Pashi house without Tianjing.Ecotect was applied to simulate indoor light environment,and indoor light and thermal environments of 3 typical Pashi houses were compared.The results showed that(a) Grey spaces such as open hall should be maintained;(b) Cooler outdoor air should be introduced into indoor spaces at night to reduce the indoor air temperature;(c) The tradition that Pashi House never has a window facing north should be broken to improve the indoor lighting,and heat insulation structure can be applied for the roof;(d) Top of the Tianjing in a multi-storey Pashi house influences the indoor thermal environment,and plays a less effective role than onestorey Pashi house does in adjusting micro climate of the house.

Oil-gas reservoir in the Mesozoic strata in the Chaoshan depression,northern South China Sea:a new insight from long off set seismic data

The Chaoshan depression,a Mesozoic basin in the Dongsha sea area,northern South China Sea,is characterized by well-preserved Mesozoic strata,being good conditions for oil-gas preservation,promising good prospects for oil-gas exploration.However,breakthrough in oil-gas exploration in the Mesozoic strata has not been achieved due to less seismic surveys.New long-off set seismic data were processed that acquired with dense grid with single source and single cable.In addition,the data were processed with 3D imaging method and fi ner processing was performed to highlight the target strata.Combining the new imaging result and other geological information,we conducted integrated interpretation and proposed an exploratory well A-1-1 for potential hydrocarbon.The result provides a reliable basis for achieving breakthroughs in oil and gas exploration in the Mesozoic strata in the northern South China Sea.

Research on Current Situation and Thermal Performance of Rural Residences in Chaoshan Area in China (I)——Typical House Structure, Material Structure and Energy Consumption

Based on the field study and site test, the development and evolution of rural residence in Chaoshan Area have been illustrated. Two types of residences, that is, tradition-inheriting type and city-imitating type, have been classified. Furthermore, residences of tradition-inheriting type have been divided into four types. Then, the construction materials, structure and energy-saving facilities of rural residences in Chaoshan have been analyzed, aiming to provide a foundation for thermal performance and energy saving design of rural residences in Chaoshan Area.

Geomorphic Evidence for and Rate of Sinistral Strike-slip Movement Along Northwest-trending Faults in Chaoshan Plain

Two sets of active faults,northwest-and northeast-trending faults,are developed in the Chao-shan Plain of East Guangdong.After detailed interpretation of aerophotos,we have found outthat there is the clear phenomenon of sinistral dislocation of drainage system on the Huang-gang-shui fault and part of Fengshun-Shantou fault.Field investigation confirmed that the geo-morphic bodies along the two faults have undergone displacement.Large-scale topographicmapping was made at three displaced sites and samples for age dating were collected from thegeomorphic booies.Calculation indicates that the average rate of sinistral strike-slip movementin the Holocene time amounts to 1.11±0.09～2.69±0.24mm/a along the Huanggangshuifault and 3.26±0.26mm/a along the Fengshun-Shantou fault.These two more active NW-trending faults extend into sea area,where they intersect the NE-trending strongly active Nius-han Island-Xiongdi Isle-Nanpeng Isles fault at a depth of 40～50m in water.The intersection isa location favorable

Hydrocarbon Detection Based on Phase Decomposition in Chaoshan Depression, Northern South China Sea

Located in the northern South China Sea,Chaoshan Depression is mainly a residual Mesozoic depression,with a construction of Meso-Cenozoic strata over 7000m thick and good hydrocarbon accumulation conditions.Amplitude attribute of-90°phase component derived by phase decomposition is employed to detect Hydrocarbon in the zone of interest(ZOI)in Chaoshan Depression.And it is found that there are evident amplitude anomalies occurring around ZOI.Phase decomposition is applied to forward modeling results of the ZOI,and high amplitudes occur on the-90°phase component more or less when ZOI is charged with hydrocarbon,which shows that the amplitude abnormality in ZOI is probably caused by oil and gas accumulation.

Construction of Chaoshan Folk Botanic Garden and Its Tourism Planning

Functions of botanic garden such as cultural transmission, science popularization, public leisure, environment beautification, protection of species were analyzed, and those species characterized by unique regional features and widely applied in folk activities in Chaoshan area were introduced. From the perspective of cultural tourism, we discussed the possibility of constructing a folk botanic garden in Chaoshan area, and explored the planning concepts, functional division, species selection and tourism development of the garden.
