Low-order Duffing and high-order Rossler chaotic oscillator are connected together and new self-adaption frequency detection method is presented. The frequency difference control between unknown signal and the periodic driving force is realized in this paper and the self-adaption is obtained. Thus, the detection precision and speed are promoted. The limitation that there are too many chaotic oscillators in Duffing system is broken. Meanwhile the disadvantage that the detection speed is lower in R ssler chaotic control is overcome. The self-adaption choice of frequency difference control is realized using the Duffing and Rssler different chaotic oscillators to obtain unknown signal frequency. The simulation results show that the presented method is feasible and effective. 展开更多

Hybrid Chaotic Salp Swarm with Crossover Algorithm for Underground Wireless Sensor Networks

Resource management in Underground Wireless Sensor Networks(UWSNs)is one of the pillars to extend the network lifetime.An intriguing design goal for such networks is to achieve balanced energy and spectral resource utilization.This paper focuses on optimizing the resource efficiency in UWSNs where underground relay nodes amplify and forward sensed data,received from the buried source nodes through a lossy soil medium,to the aboveground base station.A new algorithm called the Hybrid Chaotic Salp Swarm and Crossover(HCSSC)algorithm is proposed to obtain the optimal source and relay transmission powers to maximize the network resource efficiency.The proposed algorithm improves the standard Salp Swarm Algorithm(SSA)by considering a chaotic map to initialize the population along with performing the crossover technique in the position updates of salps.Through experimental results,the HCSSC algorithm proves its outstanding superiority to the standard SSA for resource efficiency optimization.Hence,the network’s lifetime is prolonged.Indeed,the proposed algorithm achieves an improvement performance of 23.6%and 20.4%for the resource efficiency and average remaining relay battery per transmission,respectively.Furthermore,simulation results demonstrate that the HCSSC algorithm proves its efficacy in the case of both equal and different node battery capacities. 展开更多

A new stability theory of nonlinear dynamic systems is proposed, and a novel adaptive synchronisation method is presented for fractional-order chaotic and hyperchaotic systems based on the theory described in this paper. In comparison with previous methods, not only is the present control scheme simple but also it employs only one control strength, converges very fast, and it is also suitable for a large class of fractional-order chaotic and hyperchaotic systems. Moreover, this scheme is analytical and simple to implement in practice. Numerical and circuit simulations are used to validate and demonstrate the effectiveness of the method. 展开更多

In this paper, taking railway flood in Xinjiang Line of New Eurasian Continental Bridge as an example, the dynamics mechanism of railway flood has been studied by using Chaotic Theory. During study, some nonlinear features of railway flood, such as correlation dimension D2 and Kolomogorov entropy K, are analyzed based on time-series of railway flood in Xinjiang Line of New Eurasian Continental Bridge. Results show: time-series distribution of railway flood has some characteristics of Chaos dynamic system, and the variation of railway flood frequency is a definite low-dimension Chaotic attractor. The average length of Tp(Tp = 15d) calculated in this paper, which shows the time of forecasting by this Chaotic dynamic system, is close to the reality. 展开更多
